Khanage,

You’re right.

Khan is two-bob and a posterboy.

2 Rounds, gets hit and switches off.

Only thing missing from Khan’s arsenal are a set of pads and they don’t hit back.

Khanage, we dont know if Khan will be less mobile @ 147. He may surprise us by being more fit to his new form (excess weight & skills); its not uncommon that a “little” bit of excess weight can provide a bit more endurance, more strength, and an overall more comfortable feel. It would really depend on his bone structure, and how much body weight can “hang” off of it comfortably.

The thing is, Khan talks sooo much crap & is such a delusional dude, that no one really knows what would actually provide an optimal physical output. I agree with most of what you said, but I’d like to add, he doesnt fight well going backwards, seemingly at a loss as to what to do next when pressured.

This new trainer seems to be aware of the craft on a more technical level than Roach, but I dont know for sure…..we will see! I’m still going with the awkward style of Collazo to pull it out; at least I know his temperment along with his desire has been the same – win lose or draw! Khan thinks too much of himself, without humbly “proving” his questionable growth, nor has he clamored or redeemed himself for a rematch….he’ll simply insist he would win the rematch or that the opponent in question hasnt earned a rematch based on his current loss or losses…..my take is – he/they BEAT YOU Mr. Khan!!!

Khan is flashy & can hit hard if he sets up, but the guy believes he’s world champ already – without actually earning it. I’ll admit, he does have an entertaining style, but theres gotta be more substance.

Khanage

Khan fights the same way every time, no matter who trains him. He’s the most predictable fighter in boxing today. For two rounds he is fast, throws lots of flurries and shows decent foot movement. But after two rounds his opponent starts to time Khan, and Khan slows down from round three anyway. At that point, Khan is living on borrowed time. As some stage, he always gets tagged, frequently goes down and is known to get stopped in dramatic fashion. And we all know that the Khan chin is famous for being non-existent. Egg shells withstand punches better than the Khan chin. Also, as a heavier fighter, at 147lbs, Khan will be slower and not as mobile. Collazo will KO this guy within five rounds. I hope the bookies are as deluded as Khan and tip him for the win, because I will bet big, silly big, on Collazo.

Texas Hold-em

“I still say Khan can beat Collazo”

So Alex changed his name to Texas Hold-em and then forgot he did that. LOL … what an idiot!

Texas Hold-em

I still say Khan can beat Collazo, but Collazo is indeed dangerous and hungry, Khan is a good boxer, and because he has been knocked down several times, does not make him a washed up fighter. some of the best fighters have been on the canvas briefly and got up and won the fight. My money is on Khan. I see a stronger determination than Collazo.

Khan held onto Diaz tighter and longer than he’s ever held onto his missus. Actually, the way Khan was acting in the ring with Diaz I believe he was trying to get into Diaz’s ring.

Alex says Khan
“He never holds after getting wobbled, seldom listens to his corner and has embraced the stardom too readily, but so what? We’d all do the same.”

sorry Alex, but Khan held onto Julio Diaz like he was his prison bi8atch in several of the rounds including the round he got knocked down in. It was a disgrace to see another hometown British referee helping him to get across the finish line.
Can’t remember the round but Khan looked like he was going doggy all over Diaz’s but as he clung on to him like clingfilm.

Khan is a limpet inside the ring and the way he’s got his claws into Floyd he’s also a limpet outside the ring. Dude is pitiful.

The so-called “Silver” belt is no “championship.” Since when did we start calling something that is by definition something other than the best a “championship.” What a bade joke being played on any promoter, manager or fighter willing to pay a fee for this hunk of plastic.

Fight Aficionado

For all the criticism about Collazo’s inactivity and crazy decisions to lay low and turn down fights over the last few years, he’s rebounded nicely. Joins GBP, put that headcase Ortiz to sleep, and now gets a major payday in a well preserved state. Crazy as a fox maybe.

Collazo beat Hatton, a juiced up Mosely and Juiced up Berto while training Part time.. He KO’d a very fit Ortiz who trained very well. Khan is going to find out why Collazo has been avoided by most top guys.

Khans in deep trouble, this will be one of the first times Collazo will have actually had a full professional Training Camp. Can beat Hatton, a juiced up Mosely and Juiced up Berto while training Part time.. He KO’d a very fit Ortiz who trained very well. Khan is going to find out why Collazo has been avoided by most top guys.

Collazo’s last big payday. Ortiz fight proves nothing, Ortiz found his way out. Khan should put on a great show with a KO coming any time after round 5. as usual Floyd isn’t getting any of my money this time around, I’ll watch the replay. Thankfully boxing has become so unpopular that all I have to do to avoid hearing the results for a week is to stay away from the internet.

I agree the TV broadcaster should play some funny music when Khan gets knocked down, so that his funky chicken dance is more entertaining to watch.

I wanna see Khna do the chicken dance again. Why don’t they add music this time.

Earn it Man

Even when Collazo KO’s this chump Khan, watch Khan fire his trainer and continue to call out Floyd. Khan is like Audley Harrison, he just isn’t going away, ever.

Posted March 28, 2014 2:31 am

Best quote of any day…..

“He just isn’t going away, ever!” Just like a rat or cockroach after a Nuclear winter! Still here!

Boxing Fan

All the Khan haters will be watching to see him loose but they will be watching.

Just stop watching if you hate the guy so much.

It’s only boxing people, just enjoy the fight.

Be happy stop hating on others, you’re only stressing yourself out and maybe loosing a few years off of your own life

Khan is fun, but doesn’t fight everyone put in front of him. He admits to avoiding Alexander in the hope of fighting Floyd. Big mistake, that he regrets. Stuff like that stinks and ruinsit for the fans. He also thinks he’s beter than he is. Brook isn’t on his level he says. He’s right. Brook is much higher up.

All you guys hate amir khan.. why? he won a silver metal when he was 17 and has fought everyone who has been infront of him! his fights are exciting you will all be watching so take a look in the mirror, who the fark are u? what have you done????? if your gonna bag anyone out let it be Floyd for ducking manny year after year.

Does anyone know why Khan vs Broner feel through? Khan is trash. He had a plethora of solids options and this is what we get? Dare to be great my ass. I hope he gets put to sleep again.

I’m sure glad that GBP made the announcement that Collazo is getting ready for the Khan fight. I mean really, didn’t we all think Collazo was going to hang at strip clubs drinking mai tai’s and munching on pretzels until May 3?

thank you laying down. could not have said it better.

Posted March 28, 2014 2:54 am

Laying down

Julio Diaz wasn’t paid to lay down, he beat Khan and got robbed by a hometown decision. I think Luis wants it. He’s only 32, if he were 36-37 I’d suspect foul play but not at 32. Luis will touch the Khan chin and then it’s lights out for chinny cry baby Khan.

Pop’s got it down.

They gave Khan the easiest option in an old man with no pop or whip.

Mayweather ain’t fighting Khan ’cause Khan can’t sell crack let alone a seat at a PPV event!

I doubt it, this is the last hurrah for him. There is no turn around after this fight. Last chance to dance. Berto, Hatton, Mosley will erase, will collection of names for his record fighting the best.

Hopefully Collazo hasn’t been paid to lay down against this TNUC!
