@ Livershot: You don’t know anymore about Chris Arreola than Kristen Stewart does about being drug-free. Do yourself and the rest of the world a favor: Go out and play in traffic on I-95.Posted April 4, 2014 3:48 am

I think Stiverne is going to win 8 or 9 rounds… and they will give it to Arreola… It will cause another stink but they won’t care.Posted March 31, 2014 1:54 am
Areola who? why is this guy trying for a heavyweight tittle still? He can only be a sparing partner at best! I bet that even slow, boring, clinch, no skills, just heart John Ruiz will beat this bozo on a 12rd if he decides to unretire.Posted March 30, 2014 2:23 pm
@ The Facts ! I disagree, Arreola has to put Stiverne early if he has any chance to win. Arreloa fades after 5 rounds and begins to push his punches and retreats back to the ropes. Stiverne comes on as the fight moves along, he’s a slow starter. Arreloa’s fights don’t go past the early rounds rounds. When they do like they did against Vitali, Ademeck, and Stiverne this has been the pattern. I thought for sure he would have beaten Ademeck, he was the bigger man and the bigger puncher, instead he was breathing heavy after round 4. Arreola thinks of himself as a boxer with a jab, but he’s really a banger with a jab. Boxers know how to relax in the ring, he’s never learned to do that because the lack of a good trainer or he just doesn’t know how. Sad, he has the size but lacks the proper training in and out of the ring.Posted March 30, 2014 11:31 am
Stiverne…is hungry and been waiting to be Hw champ! Stiverne by late tko this time.Posted March 29, 2014 10:47 pm
The Facts !
I really believe that Arreola wins this fight . He hung in there , in their last fight even though his nose was smash and bleeding profusely . once he get’s threw the first five rounds he will start to really put the pressure on Stiverne .Posted March 29, 2014 5:17 pm
Peej good point, Con King is a fight preventer.Posted March 29, 2014 3:00 pm
If you sign with Don King then you are really not to serious about your boxing career cause all that’s gonna happen is you will be watching fights from your couchPosted March 29, 2014 9:04 am

King said ‘you know what I mean’ 20 times in his brief introduction. I think he is loosin it. They way you keep him out is to beat his guy. CA gonna do dat. CA gonna win the WBC Belt, you know what I am mean.Posted March 29, 2014 1:40 am

hildag0, that comment wasnt towards you…it was for livershot…but yes, we meet again.
King is looking for a new generation of boxers to screw over. The inanities he spouts make no sense.
Because of the way he conducts his busines he hasn’t been able to sink his teeth into the top money makers for some time. But he’s still trying.Posted March 28, 2014 10:29 pm

I say whoever wins the WBC title will any way be a paper classed world champion.
ALL people know that Wladimir Klitschko is the real heavyweight champion of the world (Lineal/WBA/IBF/WBO/IBO) and have been the champ sence 2006. 2nd longest reign in heavyweight boxing history (Only Joe Louis with 11 years is the best) with 15 world title defences (3rd best after Larry Holmes’s 20 and Joe Louis’s 25 world title defences)
The winner of the WBC title will be a paper champ and the winner never fought and defeated Vitali Klitschko in the ring for it as he retired, so no real conqering there.Posted March 28, 2014 8:54 pm
Easy boys, @ Soda don’t take this boxing form personal. Liver stated his opinion and he sounds anti tattoo and bad language and prefers education and that is not a bad thing. Sad to say not everyone can be an Oscar De La Hoya, clean cut all American well spoken. More often than not they are like Rios are Arreola. That’s not a bad thing just not a role model thing. All D stated was a fact about the US being a better place to have at least a chance at doing something with yourself. South of the Boarder has been over run by drug lords and is a scary place. The rest of what he said…………well…….again that was again his opinion. This sight has fans that love sluggers and some that prefer boxers. No go back to your corners and come out with boxing posts.Posted March 28, 2014 8:50 pm
BTW Soda Pop, I am not ashamed of Arreola at all. Why would I be?Posted March 28, 2014 8:37 pm
“So we meet again my friend. Perfect, let me tell you something.Im mexican and im proud he is one aswell. If your supposedly mexican then speak for yourself because i for one am not ashamed of him.”
Soda Pop. apparently you do not understand English well. The whole point of my comment to Livershot is that he was ignorantly and unfairly insulting Chris Arreola. That’s why I said he knows nothing about the man, because Chris is of Mexican heritage and he Does fight for his people–he says that practically every time he’s interviewed or has a fight. Understand now?Posted March 28, 2014 8:36 pm
The only things entertaining about Don King are his clothes and his hair. Before the haircut.Posted March 28, 2014 8:33 pm

You’re an American because you were born in North America.
You have a bigger and better opportunity to make something of yourself than you would in the war zone down south.
So the real question is, what are YOU going to do about it? You lazy, festering, siesting, lump on a liver.Posted March 28, 2014 7:03 pm
hey liver, i think your on the wrong sight….this is no geography class and i think we all know where we at…He is what he says he is and you cant do sh** about it.Like you being gay, were not here saying hey this guy is a man…you are what you say you are.Posted March 28, 2014 6:51 pm

So we meet again my friend. Perfect, let me tell you something.Im mexican and im proud he is one aswell. If your supposedly mexican then speak for yourself because i for one am not ashamed of him.Sure hes no saint or pretends to be, sometimes we cant help how were raised and whats taught to us from birth.Hell even when grown its hard to change the man youve become.Know this.im mexican and you dont speak for me nor my people.like a son who does bad, you know he does but you still love him…he represents me and all my people, his fans especially..when you make these stupid statements speak for yourselfPosted March 28, 2014 5:46 pm
“Arreola has no class, limited vocabulary and is a disgrace to his people. There is nothing Mexican about him, he’s just a fat guy from the barrio who was born in Riverside, Ca.”
Livershot, you know absolutely nothing about Chris Arreola.Posted March 28, 2014 5:09 pm
Yes, yes, and yes to your questions..Posted March 28, 2014 4:57 pm
Only chance Arreola has is to KO Stiverne early, has to do it in the early rounds 1-4 after that he’s outta steam. Stiverne by KO in the eighth round. Arreola has no class, limited vocabulary and is a disgrace to his people. There is nothing Mexican about him, he’s just a fat guy from the barrio who was born in Riverside, Ca. Last time I checked that was part of the United States.Posted March 28, 2014 4:56 pm
Anyone else out there notice how many of these top heavyweights have and continue to fight each other with the lone exception of Wilder? Is Wilder’s team waiting for many of these top guys to soften each other up before reluctantly putting him in the ring with them??Posted March 28, 2014 4:37 pm
Check out pushthelineboxing.com for the latest in boxing news. Stiverne vs Arreola 2 is a good heavyweight battle.Posted March 28, 2014 3:39 pm
Don King used to make fighters sign promotional agreements in order to fight his heavyweight champions- i.e. Holyfield fighting for King to get the Tyson fight.
It would be interesting to see a US regional title.
Wilder, Jennings, Arreola, Stiverne, Thompson, etc. can stage interesting bouts waiting for Vladymyr to retire so they can try to unify…Posted March 28, 2014 2:15 pm
If Stiverne wins, Don King will never, never, fight a K-bro to unify. Never. He will entertain his own barn of fools and milk it for freaking EVER. Just like he did in the past. K-bros went around King and captured all the titles, and now King is sneaking back in. Blaaghhhhh !!!! Go Chris, beat this guy and get the WBC Title as a Californian. Arreola wins this one guys.Posted March 28, 2014 12:06 pm
Don’t want to see Don King in the WBC Title at all. This guy can cause real problems in the HW scene, and his shenanigans are suspect no matter how insignificant they seem. I think Arreola will fix his mistakes and come in and get a SD with Stiverne. He fight a smart fight and he can win because he has the focus, the heart, and the warrior in him to win, and he can bang. And if he wins this war with BS, he will go on to beat Wilder. Arreola is a bad match up for Deontay. CW fights like a Spartan on the inside and this is where Deon is vulnerable. CW will knock out Wilder. CW is the guy who will park Wilder like he is a 1956 Cadillac. EERRKKKK. But first he must win the WBC Belt which is right there for him to take. Fight smart Chris and win this. SD is a good win, go get it!!!!Posted March 28, 2014 11:55 am

Whoever wins will probably fight Wilder for the first title defense. The hype will build and Wladimir will destroy them, becoming undisputed heavyweight champion..Posted March 28, 2014 11:51 am

Stiverne’s resume is weak other than his beating up Chris. I hope Chris wins this one…Posted March 28, 2014 11:41 am
Rooting for Chris. I can finally back it when I say it since the guy has devoted himself to the sport by going all in on this whole “dedication” thing. One of the most real guys in the sports.Posted March 28, 2014 11:35 am
The name of the event is really FIGHT FOR PEACE HEAVYWEIGHT HISTORY? Someone should have rethought that.Posted March 28, 2014 9:42 am

Arreola will fix his mistakes and take this fight. He has much more natural talent if he just shows up in shape and puts his true skills to use. #KingKhan2014Posted March 28, 2014 9:25 am

Correction from the video. Shannon Briggs back in 2006 was the last american born world heavyweight title holder when he knocked out hard Siarhei Liakhovich in the very last second of the 12th round for the WBO title.
In 2006 Wladimir became 2-time champion and won the IBF/IBO world titles by KO 2-time champion Chris Byrd,
Only older brother Vitali with the WBC title was the second rated champ between 2008-2014 and now the WBC title is vacant after Vitali Klitschko retired to persue political buisness in home land Ukraine.Posted March 28, 2014 7:49 am
