big head

i like steve but mansour going to take this one these are heavyweights not criuserweights steve couldn even take a criuserweight punch so he not taking no heavyweight punch if amir just going in looking for one shot that can hurt him but if he put his punches together on steve to the body and head then he going to wear steve down mansour is a patient fighter he dont go to crazy with his power once he see a opening or got you in the corner or ropes then he going to explode with his power but steve got good legs he going to be moving so mansour going to have to cut the ring off he cant follow steve around but amir can box as well i think he going to show his boxing abilty in this fight but i see him stopping steve around the late rounds it could be early depends if steve gets bold

Looking forward to the fight but it has little to do with the future of the HW division. Mansour is 42 and Cunnigham isn’t a puncher in this division. I wouldn’t be surprised if the former cruiser champ wins a decision. Interesting matchup though.

“If Steve boxes effectively and controls the pace in this fight he wins but if he allows Amir to see some openings he’s done for…” – Cosign. Cunningham needs to outbox him. He got bold when he decked Fury and paid the price. Discipline is key.

I’m pulling for Cunningham but think this has the potential to be a very tough fight for both guys. And Mansour’s age is deceiving. Yes he is 41 but he did have a lengthy break from the sport due to time in prison. So it’s not like he’s a 41 year old who’s been in a lot of brutal fights. If Steve can box very intelligently I think he has the potential to pull off a decision. If not then Mansour may win by mid to late fight stoppage or KO. And as for me rooting for Steve, I don’t have anything against Mansour but if you know Steve’s story it’s hard to root against him. He essentially has a dying daughter.

Punch makes a very good point. Mansour by late stoppage or Cunningham on points. If he boxes clever.

Just another example of 2 more top heavyweights choosing to face each other with the only exception being Wilder who would rather allow all these guys to soften each other up before he remotely thinks about facing any of them

I think punch makes a great point

punch

Amir is more than an old man with a punch as he can box and Steve will be foolish to think otherwise. If Steve boxes effectively and controls the pace in this fight he wins but if he allows Amir to see some openings he’s done for we know he’s not going to be able to absorb Amir punching power and that’s a fact. Amir UD or late stoppage.

Card’s this Friday night, correct? Looking forward to it and think Cunningham will win. Mansour thinks he’s tough but fact is stewing in prison 16 years doesn’t do a GD thing to make you a good boxer. He’s an old guy with a punch that’s all.

always enjoy watching Cunninham. how did Mansour get the “hardcore” name?

yo

Look forward to this one.

Cunningham will win if he plays it smart, boxes, and refuses to be drawn into exchanges.

If Cunningham decides to mix it up, he will probably get ko’ed…
