Brodes – fighters are fighters because they think they can beat other fighters…that’s how their minds work…many a man has called out another fighter and got beat down…that’s how the sport works. Or are you another guy that thinks fighters calling out other fighters is wrong?

Brodes

Mundine called out MAYWEATHER hoping, praying, wishing mayweather don’t accept his offer that way he can go into retirement sayin he wanted to fight Floyd but it never happin. It was never gonna happin mundine. You were never on that level.

@ HHLondon – it doesn’t matter where a fighter fights. It is his right to call out other fighters irrespective. Or do you think a chap that commentates on MBs determines who does what in boxing? Re his loss – everyone is a crystal ball after the fact. If all boxers fought fights on the fact they would lose why on earth would they fight. Mundine thought he would win…he didn’t but in his career he has won 1 or 2. What’s your record champ?

DMX

Mundine will have the IBF Middleweight title off Sam Soliman before the year is out

HHLondon

1st Time Ere,

Alot of fighters do a lot of talking but if you want to be taken seriously, then a fighter grabs his kit, gets on his bike and chases fights and opportunity ..

Talk is cheap …. take Amir Khan for instance … thought he could Tweet his way to a shot at Mayweather?

Seriously?

Mundine had no right calling out anyone and his recent loss proves that.

First time ere

@HHLONDON – so you think fighters shouldn’t call out other fighters? Why?

Posted April 11, 2014 7:00 pm

HHLondon

“called out” makes fighters fighters?

He just got done by Clottey FFS!

Someone take the grog off First Time Ere!

Yep Mundine called out FM…that’s what makes fighters fighters and message board commentators message board commentators…some men like to fight and try to fight the best and some just like to write about them on message boards

GUMBOOT

Mundne made his career with his mouth. A classless self-promotor who lacked the necessary skills to compete at the top level. Clottey is an old tuff-un and he has shown Mundine for what he is. Second grade!

BOXING JUNKIE

Not surprising-MUNDINE IS A HIGH CLASS JOUIRNEYMAN

Posted April 10, 2014 10:32 am

DMX

The only big fight on the Horizon is IF and it’s a big IF Sam Soliman can beat Sturm again in Germany
Soliman would jump and the chance to get revenge over his old nemesis Mundine and the PPV figures in Australia would be massive for Soliman

And if Mundine wins . . .
Well he’s got the IBF Middleweight title and a trilogy with Daniel Geale in the making

I get the impression it ain’t over just yet for the Man

Posted April 10, 2014 9:12 am

DMX

Yeah all over for Mundine now, but that’s boxing
Only way back would be a rematch clause, but would it be any different?

Was horrified to find workmates of mine today now touting a possible Danny Green rematch

That would prove absolutely nothing
for a guy to jump from Light Middle to Cruiserweight for a pay day

After this Canello may now sign the contract to fight Mundine
He may have spotted a weakness he thinks he can exploit
Very clever from Anthony Mundine

Good appraisal of the fight. Accurate.

Time to hang up the gloves Choc.
If a SMW can’t beat a WW that has had only 2 fights in 2 years, you have no chance of even entering discussions with FMJ, Canelo or Lara.

You got KO’d by a part time tent boxer (Wood), Schooled by Geale, got a victory served up to you by an old and injured Mosely and going back a few years knocked out cold by a feather fisted Ottke.

You did the best you could with the time you had. Hang’em up mate.
