You don’t have to accomplish everything to be satisfied… The best laid plans often come up snake-eyes. You just need to know you’ve done enough on Earth to satisfy God … Satisfyng men is not possible.

That’s why Pacquiao always seems so peaceful. He’s just having fun.

He gets kncked ice cold and tells the interviewer, “I got careless. But we put on a great fight for the fans and I’m happy.”

It doesn’t look like Pacquiao gets a satisfied mind from his boxing success. He seems to me to be satisfied all the time. He depends on his spiritual walk to keep him content.

carytop…I’m a typical punkass pactard….sad when you have to resort to silly name calling….did it hurt your pride so much when I called Manny an Octuple champion,it does happen to be the truth…But losers always come back on here with your same old mantra chant..”no I’m a boxing fan”……boxing can do without fans who just come on here and say the same old c**p…like Pac got offed by Marq or how all his fights were soooo easy…Jog on junior….

I can say with almost 100% certainty that Manny Pacquiao is the greatest fighter to ever live. His accomplishments, impact and influence on the sport and the great fighters he defeated leave no doubt in my mind that he is at the top. If you take in all the other factors like amateur experience, quality of trainer and access to quality gyms with quality fighters to work with, Manny is without a doubt the best ever. Can anyone imagine just how much greater Manny would have become if he had been raised in a boxing family like the Mayweathers along with the amateur experience and training in the Untied States. These missing pieces only make Manny Pacquiao stand head and shoulders above all past and present fighters. Manny Pacquiao learned to fight on his own. He became the only 8 division Boxing champion in history. He is at the top, and that accomplishment will never be duplicated again, trust me. A prime Manny Pacquiao had faster hands, better punching power, better agility and movement and more stamina than any fighter in history. If Manny had decided to stay at his best weight(140) that he can still make easily, no one would have ever beaten him. Manny is a miracle man to have stepped up and competed and defeated all those fighters in higher weight classes. Manny Pacquiao pound for pound IMHO is better than SR Robinson, SR Leonard. JC Chavez, H Armstrong, Kostya Tzyu, Tyson, Ali, RJ Junior, F Mayweather and others. Fans all remember Manny’s Reign of Terror as he tore through Barrera, Marquez, Hatton, De La Hoya, Margarito, Cotto, Clottey, Diaz, Mosely and others. His fights were the most action packed and exciting ever. Fans flocked from all over the world just to see him fight. Manny Pacquiao has always fought to make his fans happy. He is a warrior that challenged himself and never ran from anyone. Great fighters like Tyson, Roy Jones, Larry Holmes, Marvin Hagler, JC Chavez, Bradley, James Toney, Lennox Lewis, Roberto Duran and many more boxing legends have continually praised Manny Pacquiao. Fighters from all eras ahve been complimentary of this great iconic legend, and that speaks volumes about Manny Pacquiao the fighter and the man. Boxing fans today are lucky to have seen this once in a life time master piece of a fighter step into the ring and display his brilliance, greatness and unbelievable talent. Manny s more than a Picasso, more than a President, more than prodigy. Manny Pacquiao is boxing. I can still see the beautiful face of Dionesia Pacquiao cheering her son on with all of her passion, emotions and love for her son. She had a cross and her picture of baby Jesus as she was concerned for her son and prayed to God that Manny would not be hurt. There is nothing more touching and beautiful than to see a mother praying for her son and feeling each and every punch as if she was being hit. Manny Pacquiao should be proud to have such a loving and caring mother. Dionesia Pacquiao is a blessed lady to have given birth to the greatest fighter in boxing history. Trust me on this. Manny is the best ever!

No they’re not.. They’re both dead in their primes.. They just beat undefeated youngsters. They look good to me. The fight will rivet the WORLD. It will be the biggest entertainment event of all time … a global phenomenon.

Can you imagine the preparation they’ll go through if the fight is made? Sick!

Pac-May is a fake fight… Proves nothing at this point in their careers due to one simple fact that both are past their primes… Now had this fight happen 3-5 yrs ago it would have been different. Only amateur fans would think such nonsense of a current match. Pac NOR May really mean anything to boxing…. If they fight in the near future, I think Fraud would win….And afterwards….it would have had no significance to the sport

since Paquiao’s k.o. loss to Marquez he has fought a more calculated and less reckless style in the ring. he has some what refined his style for the better at this stage of his career. that could make Manny a more dangerous opponent for Floyd or anyone else.

Pac clearly won this fight 8 rounds to 4. Anything more than that is ridiculous. Bradley started with a good game plan but he never adjusted and Pac did. He should of started to box and counter instead of keep trying to take it to Pac. That will eventually get you and it did.

Posted April 15, 2014 11:50 am

Pac puts his hands where he wants em. it is that combined with radar like fast executions while not getting hit, is that which separates him from many others. theres more than a few out there that can match him including maywheather, danny Garcia, mikey Garcia, who can fight at that level. that’s to see but even cotto should he get past martinez. All to see.. but cotto would be a pretty ill fight. I don’t know how people here think a fight with bradley would be easy with as talented as he is. I think Bradly vs Cotto and so would that Russian dude with cotto.. em two whould duke it out and someone is not going straight home. Also a huge difference is that pacquiao can punch and bradly can punch through a wet paper bag. I thought I saw a much calmer pac who just outfight the same guy he had before, just he did not get robbed. pac just took it to him. for some reason pac’s punch faded at times. good fight but I don’t think I would wanna see these 2 again. there are better fights out there.

No matter how you try to twist and turn it, te tumbo* Pac fought a brilliant fight on Saturday night, and he won by a wide margin.

this bout will almost certainly settle into a sloppy chess-match. Bradley isn’t going to get reckless and engage Manny* and Pacquiao* isn’t skilled enough to effectively walk Bradley down. the rounds will be difficult to score even though Pacquiao* will have the bigger moment or two but overall Bradley will alternately stymie and counter Pacquiao* to distraction resulting in a non-controversial UD for Bradley. ho-hum . . . hardly a must-see fight-night.

Posted April 7, 2014 10:22 pm

te tumbo

Pacquiao* is going to “hunt Bradley down” and he “won’t let up until Bradley surrenders”. Bradley responds, with, “I won’t show any compassion to Pacquiao*” more mayhem is being promised here than all four Marquez v. Pacquiao* bouts combined and Pacquiao* was put out of commission for an entire year following the final one. the Bradley v. Pacquiao* rematch can’t possibly live up to all of the almost desperate huffing-and-puffing going on between these two. are sales weak?

Hecdog

The BUZZ continues after Manny Pacquiao’s clear victory over a tough, hungry and more experienced Timothy Bradley. There are still those that still questioned the greatest fighter of this era and possibly the greatest fighter of all time. People need to realize that Manny Pacquiao has not taken an easy fight in the last 11 years. He has been in the most exciting fights of all time. This is a warrior with the physique of a natural light weight that has had to be forced to eat to make the weight. This is a small man in stature that challenged himself to take on the best and he beat them all. He could have easily stayed at 130 and never lost a fight, but he chose to be great and took risks and challenges through 8 weight classes. Unbelievable!!!!! Manny Pacquiao won last Saturday’s Mega Fight against Timothy Bradley, and he may have not looked like the Manny of old, but he still dominated. Yes he’s 35 years old, and the years of hard work and preparation may have worn on him a bit, but don’t think for one second he can’t beat Floyd Mayweather because he can. All great fighters like Manny Pacquiao still have it in them to put on a great performance. Remember, Bradley was familiar with Manny Pacquiao’s style because he went 12 rounds with him before so he has some familiarity with Manny’s unique style. The same goes for Marquez. They spent time in their with the legend. Floyd Mayweather has none. Manny Pacquiao would have Floyd Mayweather running, stumbling and holding on for dear life. Great fighters can do special things when put to the test. Manny is more than just a great fighter. He seems like he’s off balance at times, but he can hit you from anywhere. He looks small, but can hurt you at any time in a fight. He has great movement that can befuddle you at any time. Manny has the ability to change a fight at any time. He doesn’t have to destroy you to win. He can box, move or simply destroy you in a fight. Manny went from fighting a former champion in Rios, and boxing magnificently to fighting a P4P fighter that was unbeaten, and was out fought and out boxed throughout the fight. As I have always stated, Manny Pacquiao beats anyone on a one fight basis. His style is to complex to figure out, and Floyd Mayweather wants no part of Manny for this reason. Floyd Mayweather knows that he can’t compete with a great fighter like Manny Pacquiao. He won’t risk it or take a chance on losing, which he would. Boxing fans, Manny Pacquiao is the most celebrated and influential prize fighter that has ever lived. We don’t have to see PPV numbers to see the impact he has on peoples lives all over the world. Millions upon millions of Manny Pacquiao fans will never get to see him fight live or on TV because they can’t afford it or don’t have access to getting to venue where the fight is being shown. Manny Pacquiao crosses all boundaries when it comes to popularity. No one will account for those fans living in impoverished neighborhoods around the world. Manny is their only hope. He fights for justice. Manny Pacquiao cannot be denied his greatness by anyone. His character as a man and as a fighter is unblemished. This is a man of God that was put in this position for a reason, and he’s helping those in need. I think it’s time to stand up and salute the great Manny “Pac Man” Pacquiao. Excuse me for a brief moment as I stand and salute as many of you will also………………..Trust me on this, Manny is the best!

Posted April 15, 2014 12:32 am

Mike Tyson

It’s what expected, between umber 1 and number 2 best of top rank.
It’s would be close, If Bradley or PAC fought Floyd it also would be a close decision . Both would force floyd to fight in the pocket as he some times do, as both have the speed make Floyd speed normal.
And both have then tempo of punching Over 100 punches a round. Just too crazy for Floyd.
Because they will be no ko. Or U.D in that fight just a close decision. That maybe
Floyd could win.

Posted April 15, 2014 12:28 am

Auzbox

The tumbo I think we will never see the best of floyd until he fights the best comp. PAC and Bradley are two and three. Floyd is his own boss and makes all his own rules, why would he not want to fight number two and three to cement the 1 spot? Yes we can go on about arum and all the excuses under the sun but if he really wanted to erase all the doubt that will linger for the rest of his life he could at any stage

Mike Tyson

Bradley also said he pulled his right calf in the first round but added, “I have no excuses.”

Here’s how the fight unfolded at the MGM Grand Garden Arena:

Column: Speed and technical ability win out

ROUND ONE

The fight finally began at 12:24 a.m., ET. The fighters come out jabbing, but Pacquiao throws the first right hand. Both fighters are lunging. Crowd chants “Man-ny!” A miss by Bradley, and Pacquiao counters with a right hand. A cautious first round. Pacquiao avoids three shots by Bradley. Give the first round to Pacquiao as he had the most connects.

ROUND TWO

Pacquiao blocking most of Bradley’s punches. Bradley loses his footing twice, then ties Pacquiao up. Both fighters lighting quick, but Pacquiao lands several combinations as the crowd goes crazy. It’s really heating up here as Pacquiao lands several combos. Bradley takes a wild swing and again loses his balance in the last few seconds. A good round for Pacquiao. I have him up 2-0.

Photo gallery: See the action

ROUND THREE

They’re fighting in the middle of the ring. Pacquiao throwing left hands nearly every time he punches. And they’re connecting. Bradley lands a right, then counters with a left. Another left hand by Pacquiao lands flush. Total action here. A Bradley uppercut. Pacquiao just loading up and the crowd loving it. Another big round for Pacquiao. He’s up on my scorecard 3-0.

ROUND FOUR

Wild swing by Bradley misses. Pacquiao seems too quick for Bradley. Counter right by Pacquiao then a hard left staggers Bradley, who’s leaving himself open. Bradley lunging and missing most of his shots. So far it’s a shutout for Pacquiao 4-0. He seems to have Bradley’s number. Bradley getting frustrated.

No doubt: Judges this time all for Pacquiao

ROUND FIVE

Again Bradley lunging and Pacquiao counters with a left. Both fighters more cautious. Bradley copnnects on two hard rights as Pacquiao seems to be taking the round off. Pacquiao hits Bradley at the bell and Bradley shakes his head, ‘No.’ Give the round to Bradley, who connected on the harder shots and was busier. 4-1 Pacquiao.

Mom knows best: Pacquiao’s mother steals the show

ROUND SIX

Bradley throws; Pacquiao blocks. Pacquiao feinting and moving around the ring. Bradley slips a combination. Bradley doing most of the punching, but most are blocked. Pacquiao gets Bradley in the corner and drops a flurry of punches on him, as Bradley walks back to his corner again shaking his head, ‘No’ and looking at the HBO crew. Close round, but Bradley was busier. Give him another round. 4-2 Pacquiao.

ROUND SEVEN

Bradley goes to the body and connects twice. The action gets furious again. Bradley lands a right to Pacquiao’s body that hurts him. Pacquiao gets Bradley on the ropes and unloads a 10-punch combination. He does it again. Bradley chases him down as the round ends. Pacquiao takes it and is up 5-2.

ROUND EIGHT

Did Pacquiao punch himself out in the 7th? That might be Bradley’s strategy. A hard left by Pacquiao and Bradley loses his balance. Another combo by Pacquiao. Bradley lunges and misses and appears winded. The crowd boos as Bradley hits behind the head twice. Referee Kenny Bayless keeping things moving nicely. Another round for Pacquiao; I have it 6-2.

ROUND NINE

Bradley lands a straight right, then slips and falls into the ropes. Furious action as Pacquiao again unleashes a multiple combination against the ropes. Nice straight left by Bradley and then a right connects. But Pacquiao, in my estimation, is doing most of the work. 7-2 Pacquiao.

ROUND 10

Bradley staying low. On this night, Manny Pacquiao seems quicker with his footwork. Pacquiao throws a left, and they exchange at close range. Another flurry on the ropes by Pacquiao, and he outworks Bradley again to take round 10. My scorecard looking eerily like the first fight. 8-2 for Manny.

ROUND 11

Bradley has a welt under his left eye. Hard right by Bradley. Again on the ropes, Pacquiao unloads. Pacquiao being careful not to allow a Juan Manuel Marquez-type KO punch. Bradley and Pacquiao exchange jabs, which have been few and far between. It was a close round, but I’ll give it to Bradley. 8-3 Pacquiao.

ROUND 12

Manny again gets Bradley on the ropes and just unloads. Both fighters are going for it, standing toe-to-toe. Bradley tries to throw, but Pacquiao ties him up. Pacquiao cut by an accidental headbutt under his left eye. Bradley tries to go for broke but Pacquiao is too quick and slips most of the punches. It’s over. I give the 12th to Pacquiao and have it 117-111 Pacquiao.

Manny Pacquiao and Tim Bradley at the weigh-in for tonight’s rematch in Las Vegas. Photo by Chris Farina/Top Rank.

LAS VEGAS — RingTV.com has a live round-by-round update of Saturday night’s rematch at the MGM Grand during which Manny Pacquiao unanimously decision Tim Bradley to regain the WBO welterweight title he lost by split-decision in June 2012 to Bradley on HBO Pay Per View.

Pacquiao (56-5-2, 38 knockouts) was riding a 15-bout winning streak that included eight knockouts, had lasted for nearly seven years and was comprised of winning titles over four of his eight total weight divisions before Bradley dethroned him.

After the loss to Bradley (31-1, 12 KOs), Pacquiao was left unconcious following a sixth-round knockout loss to Juan Manuel Marquez in December 2012.

Although Pacquiao rebounded from the loss with a unanimous-decision victory over rising 140-pounder Brandon Rios in November, Bradley thought the 35-year-old looked tentative in doing so and has questioned his hunger for their return bout.

In his past three fights, Bradley has beaten Pacquiao, rose from a 12th-round knockdown to unanimously decision Ruslan Provodnikov and won a split decision over four-division titlewinner Marquez last October.

The WBO has a mandate that the winner of Bradley-Pacquiao face that of a May 17 clash between Marquez and Mike Alvarado.

The HBO Pay Per View broadcast begins at 9 p.m. ET/6 p.m. PT

anyway, we’re agree then(?). Floyd Mayweather is the unrivaled king of the Boxing’s deepest division. as far as we know (and for whatever reason) nobody else stands a chance . so if you feel that way, why aren’t you boosting Floyd? for the sake of Boxing, that is?

“Floyd fighting the way he does would struggle to loose . . .” (LoL). love the way you characterized Floyd’s wins as “struggles to lose”(?!) . . . (lol) . . . Classic.

AUZBOX, a 7-4-1 split for Pacquiao* is how i saw it but it was as much a Bradley loss as a Pacquiao* win.

Posted April 14, 2014 11:33 pm

what was strange was Bradley’s ability to exchange v. Pacquiao* during those first eight rounds and they were both landing flush. what was also strange was that Pacquiao* became noodly-armed in the mid-rounds. even appearing to be running out of steam, which was a very strange sight to see in Pacquiao* and cause for serious concern . . . if i were a Pacquiao* fan.

Tumbo I have always liked PAC against floyd but now I’m not 100 percent confident as he grows older and with his style. Bradley could give him problems but would loose a unanimous decision. Floyd fighting the way he does would struggle to loose unless his timing is off but I think he is smart enough to know when to call it a day

Posted April 14, 2014 11:27 pm

Mike Tyson

Badley or PAC would give Floyd a close decision fight, both are just too crazy busy fighter. Both would ruff up Floyd feathers real good.LOL
Floyd uses to throwing just 400-500 punches a fight. Last time he threw 500-600 punches was jab or Oscar, that why he preferred slugger, all he has to do is survive not being ko. And he pop shots and schooled the slugger for a UD. Haven we seen this time after time. Maidan and Floyd 10-1 odds
1,000 on Floyd buys 100 bucks. Lol

There was definitely 7 rounds unquestioned that PAC won but to find more without being to bias would be hard. Bradley without a doubt won 3 definitively. You let me know te tumbo what you think?

AUZBOX, i will conclude that you doN’T dare post that you favor Pacquiao* and Bradley over Mayweather at 147lbs. i could also care less about official rankings. we all know Mayweather is the best as evidenced by your refusal to identify a single fighter in boxing’s deepest division who you would favor v. Floyd.

Really I don’t want to see Marquez and PAC again, because PAC has no need it for cash or rerun.
But Bradley prove Marquez ko punch to PAC was as PAC said he didn’t see the punch so he got knock out. 3 things prove that, first fight he fought he didnt fold under pressure and get knock out again as all the hater said that would happen.

Now Bradley kept hitting PAC with the same punch the right hand lead, PAC took that punch flush and he prove he still has the iron jaw.

Why? Because he seen the punch, martinez ko Paul William same thing he said he never saw the punch coming. Added up to Marquez ko was a lucky punch. He hit PAC many times with his signature right hand lead hook and left uppercut, his counter punch combo.

Really PAC don’t need Marquez, he has Marquez belt aka Bradley .

“Unless Juan Manuel Marquez comes out victorious against Mike Alvarado on May 17th, and they can work out another fight deal with team Pacquiao, Manny’s best option will undoubtedly be another fight again Bradley.”

I disagree. A third Pacquiao/Bradley fight would not be a good PPV event. The overwhelming opinion was that Pac convincingly beat Bradley in their first fight but Pac was robbed of the win. Now Pac has clearly beaten Bradley in their second fight, so there is no controversy, nor is there an overwhelming demand–for any reason–for a third fight between them.

Marquez will beat Mile Alvarado and likely by TKO. Marquez has already stated that he wanted to fight the winner of Pacquiao/Bradley 2 (I think Marquez thought Bradley would win in their second fight, then he’d have a chance to redeem himself in a second fight with Bradley). So, after Marquez beats Alvarado–and he will–look for a fifth fight between Pac and Marquez. Look for Pac to beat him too.

Bradley was winning the fight over the first 5 rounds. whether you gave him three or four he was winning. then his fight-plan began to unravel. he was landing flush but didn’t buckle Pacquiao even once*. Manny* did what he always does but he made it look harder this time. he was also landing his usual stiff-shots but nothing(?). that’s what allowed Bradley to control the early rounds. afterwards, his focus was gone and he was just winging and landing but also being potshotted by the predictable Manny*. it’s delusional that he’s going to change at 35. he still relies on lunging lefts and quick feet. everything else is almost incidental. i’ll give him credit for adding one thing to his arsenal and that’s the uppercut that Marquez taught him. Manny* is beginning to intentionally land he same one and it’s crunching. That’s It.

Bradley simply fights dumb he was winning the fight but the fool instead of continuing to outbox Manny tried to Ko him and punches himself out. Bradley has no composure nor patience. He did the same thing with Ruslan and almost left on a stretcher. Manny simply took over after the six round no question. But a more disciplined experienced fighter would hand Manny his ass he is not the same as he was in 09, no longer bigger and stronger. Maybe the PEDS? Clearly he should have Koed Rios. I say as long as Manny keeps fighting guys like Bradley and Marquez he wins. Like Marquez and Bradley? Bradley simply lacks the skills to beat a guy like Manny. Floyd is in another league so much so that everyone he beats looks easy you cannot land on him Mosley and Zab had faster hands than Manny and they got they ass beat too. Since they havent fought you have to compare the guys they faced. Manny has 5 losses by lesser caliber fighters. Floyd has zero and has fought tougher competition…

Floyd has beat guys in there prime. Canelo was undefeated Miadana was 4 wins in a row. Guerrero had just beat Berto. Manny fights guys coming off losses or have weight issues. Mannys speed and power everyone has dealt with so all of a sudden Floyd cant deal with it? Manny has been KTFO 5 times. Marquez was walked all overby Floyd. Marquez is the same guy KOed Manny. Style wise if a 40 year old Mexican and time him coming in and drop him what the hell do the think the best counter puncher in the business would do? No to mention Manny walked away from the fight in 09 seems to me a man that is afraid wouldn’t go through the trouble of making a fight happen if he really didn’t want it. I guess Floyd knew he would turn it down? Poor pactards Arum wont let his boy fight Floyd regardless of what he feeds Mannys nutthuggers in the media. Hell if the fight was to happen it would be a mismatch and you Manny ass lickers will swear Floyd waiting until Manny was past his prime. Hell Bradley was giving it to Manny but he ran out of gas. All these punches from different angle mean what? He is open to counter and getting tagged.

After watchibg the fight a 3 rd time….in my view pacquiao showed good stamina and patience and the pace of the fight was all action and speed…..for example tell me one fighter that mayweather has faced in the last 5 years who had quick cimbinations and fast footwork…none…..guerrero cotto..canelo all with limited movement and slow hands…….if mayweather fights pacquiao it will not be an easy night for him count on that……something in mayweathers mind that worries him about pacquiao thats for certain

Azzbox Manny beat Bradley the in the first rip. He diffently outpointed him so its no surprise. Tim makes all these excuses for his movement but the fool has no legs or stamina. Second he was clearly beating Manny up to the fifth round were he ran out of gas. Hell he even stunned Manny a few times. No one wants to see Manny fight any of top rapes stable because they have no fighters, who is interested in a Marquez 5 at this point. Manny needs Floyd, Danny Garcia or Canelo any of these guys would mop the floor with Manny but Arum is not having it. Not to mention fighting any of these guys would ake big bucks for you boy who is broke right now….

“Being that Pacquiao is not one to avoid a fight and a challenge, as per his long lasting rivalry with Juan Manuel Marquez . . .” let’s be clear: the duration of the Marquez v. Pacquiao* rivalry was a direct result of Pacquiao* avoiding Marquez for Eight (8) F’n Years and Marquez’s fierce determination to force additional matches in pursuit of Pacquiao* up and across each weight-class. otherwise, Team Pacquiao* simply wished that the “older”, “slower”, and “smaller” Marquez would simply give up ion his mission to avenge the scorecard robberies in Pacquiao’s* favor.

Bradley has been outclass by Pacquiao twice. There is nothing to prove for Pacquiao his clock is running out of time, his last hurrah should be Marquez, Mayweather or a 9th world title in Middleweght division against the winner of Cotto-Martinez. It will propel and elevate his status more in greatness. He will agains break the record books like Foreman, Hopkins, Pacquiao doing something never accomplish by no man in boxing 9 world title in 9 different division. No one will duplicate his greatness. A 9th world title would silence Mayweather, Mayweather won’t be able to block Pacquiao’s accomplish not with all the money he has. Bradley was only amateurish from the mid-rounds onward and during the time he was show boating, signs that he was in deep trouble with his original plan and therefore had to change tactic midway. But give the man his props. He was game and gave it all inside the ring. He accepted defeat without excuses. Bradley versus any boxer out there would be a good fight to watch. But no more fight with pacquiao please. Bradley will always be a top dog at welter especially afer pacquiao and mayweather retire (hopefully, if they will not fight each other).

Pacman looks to be fading fast. He can still smack up slow fighters, like an Angulo for example. Bradley wasn’t very intelligent this fight, when I thought he was against Marquez. I thought this fight was dull, and I see Floyd whooping both of them handily.

Swedish Boxing Fan

So sad that the only thing fans of Floyd Mayweather Jr ever talks about is PPV, ratings, how much money he earns, how perfect he is etc – What is all that s#it about boxing and him as a boxer in the ring? Poor subjects to talk about as that is not noxing stuff anyway, that is buisness mens talk, not true fighters.

The truth is that real hard core boxing fans don’t like him becouse of his giant EGO and prima dona acting + trash-talks the opponents that are potential threts and avoids fighting them for as long as possible or never fight them.

Real fans don’t care about how much they earn, they want to talk about fighting the best fights possible.

My 2 cents

Bradley had the wrong gameplan going into the fight, trying to blast pacman out early – after that failed he lost belief and struggled to get his rhythm – Pacman must take credit for outboxing and neutralising Bradley early doors. All in all a class display from Manny proving the doubters wrong. Bradley will be hugely disappointed with his performance failing to ignite and always a half step behind Pacquiao. Hindsight is a wonderful thing but I think Bradley for all his talent fought the wrong fight and ultimately paid the price.

Floyd is a harder puncher than Bradley, plus has better defence. Pac was hurt by a fighter that lacks punching power, that straight right hand plus the uppercut will have Pac in trouble

Floyd’s issue

Bottom line, Floyd needs Pac more for his legacy than vice versa….except maybe for the money. Of course, both are ATG and HOF without fighting each other…

The oracle of Delphi

Floyd may school Floyd, but he get caught and then who knows what will happen. Floyd had some difficulty with a number of fighters, at least early on, incl. Castillo, Judah, Cotto. What does you think it will be that easy for Floyd? He got caught a few times by others, even by Ortiz before the head butt…I think you overestimate Floyd and underestimate the aging Pac…

Manny Pacquiao is Boxing’s most important and influential prize fighter today. There is no comparison. Manny routinely fights the best of his era, and put son a show. The fight everyone has been wanting to see for 6 years will never happen. The drug testing issues have been resolved a long time ago. The truth is that Floyd Mayweather truly FEARS Manny Pacquiao. Sparring partners that have been in there with both all say the same thing. Manny is something special. You can’t see his punches, his movement and angles he throws punches at are incredible. And his power is destructive. Floyd’s family (dad, uncles) have been outspoken for years regarding Floyd’s safty if he were to fight Manny Pacquiao. It’s out in the open now. Floyd Mayweather has ruined his already tarnished image forever. Never has a boxing champion been questioned by so many of his own peers. Manny Pacquiao continues to earn more credibility and admiration by taking on the best in boxing. He has nothing to prove. Manny Pacquiao proved to the world that he fights for the fans. He gives 100% each and every time, and he’s not afraid to take chances. The 15,000 plus fans at the MGM Grand watched a living legend put on a show that no one will ever forget. Manny Pacquiao will never be forgotten. He has never had an easy fight. The best ever. Trust me on this.

Floyd would take Pac to school, maybe even stop him

Posted April 14, 2014 4:29 pm

You definitely want Pac to forget Floyd cause Floyd would tear Pac apart. Pac better leave Canelo alone too.

Posted April 14, 2014 4:10 pm

The oracle of Delphi

No 3rd fight necessary. They should fight others. No Marquez fight either. Pac should fight Ruslan, Canelo (at
152), Lara, Martinez at 154 or Cotto. Forget Marquez, Bradley and the stinker Floyd…

Peej,
i could see that, but i though ruslan won a clear 2-3 points even given that he was robbed a k.o but i respect your opinion.i thought ruslan fought his fight and won clearly thou.

Posted April 14, 2014 4:02 pm

Soda Pop I thought Bradley won by a point, the knockdown in the first round that was ruled a push because Rulslan pushed him was the deciding factor. I had Bradley winning by a point

I’ve always rated Tim Bradley as a good all round boxer. He’s been a solid champ with some sound wins. He didn’t beat Manny first time either, because Tim can’t match Manny for speed, effective aggression or workrate, but the Pacman should be very satisfied at winning a clear decision over Tim Bradley who was rated P4P number 3 and was officially undefeated till Saturday night.

Ok so Pac-man beats bradley ..wich is the number 3.at. p4p..on the welterweight divicion…so now there is no excuse for the clown of floyd not to fight ..pac-man…..since both are the 2top fighters of the welterweight divition.

Posted April 14, 2014 3:55 pm

Popkins

Bradley for sure… Belts won against Witter (in the UK too) and Holt. Taking the unbeaten records of Alexander (who schooled Maidana) and Peterson (who beat Khan). Followed up with victories over Provodnikov and Marquez. …. Canelo is a decent young fighter, but his record has been padded, and his career is being handled with care. It’s understandable though, because his good looks and big Mexican fan base make him a proper cash cow.

Open question to anyone reading…who do you think fought the better opposition between Bradley and Canelo ?

i dont know peej,i think ruslan can and acutally did bradley in my opinion and should have gotten the decision.

Mo-Box

True that, Bradley not a good fighter but an excellent fighter (“A-/B+” type) fighter in his weight class. No shame losing to Pac, especially in two close fights – Bradley’s still a top 5 P4P IMO. Plus he proved to be a class act taking his first professional loss without any excuses and giving props to his opponent like a true gentleman. Bradley did more in losing than some do on winning!

PutangInaMoKaPacquiao

as long as Bob Arum saves Manny from Mayweather, Pac is satisfied.

Posted April 14, 2014 3:08 pm

Bradley is still a good fighter and not many fighters can beat him at welter outside of Pac and Floyd. Fact is he has had 2 close fights with Pac. Both should be about 8 rounds to 4 or 7 rounds to 5. I would say closer to 8 to 4 though. No shame in losing to Pac. Bradley had the right game plan but he needed to make an adjustment around round 6 and 7. He kept doing the same thing and Pac made the speed adjustment to pull ahead.

A win over Bradley is a great win. I was a huge Pacquiao fan back when he was fighting Morales and Barrera. If you asked me then if I thought he would be a welterweight champion at age 35, I’d say no way. Small 9lower weight) fighters aren’t usually able to go up weights and be so successful into their mid 30s. Its rare in boxing.

Loki the Loco

Bradley is not even among the top 5 toughest fights for Pac. All these fanfare will subside and be forgotten quickly. Pac’s victory over Bradley is a tiny dot but never the defining moment on Pac’s road to redemption. It would be if he KO Marquez. Marquez will always be a thorn on Manny’s side.

Ton of boxing fan think Bradley could box better than PAC and Won the beginning round.
Wrong. Bradley won not all of the beginning, PAC rock him a few times as Tim was boxing and also won a few round, only in the 5 round Bradley and 9 round? Bradley really shine.
PAC rock Bradley in boxing cause Bradley to press the fight more, and it’s escalated to a war,
Why not its was expected.

bradley lost this fight for all the wrong reasons. His trainer should of known better, if he had fought the fight as he did in the first this might have had a different outcome.just because marquez k.o paqiou silly doesnt mean bradley could do the same.grant it he stunned paqiou but he couldve done more damage boxing a bit more intelligent.Bradley is not one demensional and should have not came to the fight feeling he needed a k.o to win.somehow i feel like after marquez paqiou 5 will get bradley vs paqiou 3…..the smoke is starting to clear.

Manny beat Bradley in both fights (regardless of what two judges scored in fight number one). I believe that Manny would beat again Timothy if they fought. It is up to Manny as to whether or not he chooses to fight Timothy again (although I have to wonder if Timothy’s head butting will enter into Manny’s decision).

Killing Moon The Soothsayer

Oh plz…Stop downplaying Bradley just because he can’t beat Pacman he has wins over Witter,Holt, Campbell,Peterson,Abregu,Alexander,Casamayor and I personally gave him the nod vs Provo and Marquez albeit close ones…He was p4p 3…But now he’s a chump, a neverbeen etc etc because he can’t beat one fighter..?.Sometimes People should just look at the keyboard instead of hitting the keys…

Once again Bradley came out of a head butt with his opponent getting cut. He found out the hard way that you can’ t intimidate Manny with pre fight talk scare tactics.

Congrads to manny, he will with out question be known in the history books as the best of our time.
It doesn’t matter what the haters say, that’s just nonsense and even deep down they know the truth but nobody can expect them to admitt it, but it wont change the facts and truth.
One of the greatest indeed., maybe the greatest of all time.

Bernard hopkins is a thug. He may have $100 million dollars, but still he is a thug. I had an opportunity to meet him and instead went and got a hot latte. Dont care about people like that.

I like Manny. First and formost. He’s doesnt have a huge mega ego. What i mean by this he doesnt say how great he is or he is the best or I’m number 1. Bernard hopkins watch his youtube videos all he talks and boasts about is his legacy and greatness and that he will always be remembered. He says people will talk about him for generations to come almost making like we should all worship him. << People hate this this and the person. Manny is not like that. Humble person and very approachable in public. Nice guy.

LARRY MERCHANT SAID no truer words than what he said to Manny Pacquiao in front of Bradley’s face. ie Bradley was slinging punches like an, “amateur!”

I am truly surprised that Bradley would stand in front of Pac all night and try to land a home run.

Possibly the most stupid fight plan ever thought up or ignored delete whichever is appropriate since Ricky Hatton decided to get wired and steam into Pac a few years back.

The first thing you learn is that at elite level you only have a percentage so small that you’ll KO another elite fighter, that you go with the percentages and do what ha worked for you first.

Bradley did look like a novice and a blockhead and it was clear to me after the fourth round that Bradley did not possess the smarts to follow a game plan or adjust.

PACMAN must have been rubbing his hands and thought I can win this fight without having to get out of second gear and will still have plenty in the tank to sing and dance the night away after 12 rounds.

Personally, I hope this is the last time we’ll see Bonehead Tim on any major PPV.

as long as he doesn’t get beat up by Mayweather, he is satisfied. That’s why he hides behind Bob to save him from a sure beatdown.
