“You can’t teach what you never learned”-But I can teach what I KNOW and am Undefeated at. I’ve had MANY Fights and I remain undefeated despite facing guys who were Bigger or Faster. I learned at a YOUNG age that SKILL and Boxing IQ rule the Day. My mind is SO QUICK and SHARP that I can be in the middle of a Fight and get off a Sucker Punch. Because MY mind is SO QUICK my opponent doesn’t know whats happening. Floyd is similar to ME on that.

“Delusionaldamus, good luck with that.”-When you have as much SKILL as I have then LUCK isn’t needed. Thats how I taught YOU without YOU even realizing it.

“There is no prohibition on betting in Christianity”-Which is why I still bet on Floyd and Ward. But there IS a prohibition on not working. Every man is supposed to work. IF I bet TOO MUCH I’d make SO much money that I’d no longer have the hunger to work. That’s why I admire Floyd’s work ethic and thats why God continues to bless him. Its very HARD to want to go to work when you’ve got TOO much money in the bank.

“He can’t bet 5 billion dollars on a fight. They won’t let him.”-Of course not IF he’s not smarter than YOU. You don’t bet it all in ONE place. You spread it out among bookies all over the World when you’re betting that kind of money. IF you try to bet that much in ONE place it’ll put FEAR in them and they will deny you. But IF you bet 1M with 5000 bookies all over the World you’ll SPANK them ALL.

“Boxtradamus, you also said you bet on Broner and didn’t think he’d lose. He was upset by a big underdog.”-Well thats what you get for not keeping UP with current events. Once I caught wind of Broner being on tour with Rap Groups instead of working on his SKILLS I removed him from MY personal Top 10 P4P list and he proceeded to get SPANKED. IF you not getting BETTER then you’re getting WORSE in relation to others because there ARE people that are out there getting BETTER.

Floyd and Ward get this. Broner doesn’t.

Correction: FLOYD has NEVER fought any elite fighter in their prime!!! And he isn’t going to start now…..he may just retire before his contract with Showtime ends. What other scrubs with belts are available to be cherry picked after maidana??? Nice to know Thurman is Floyd’s mandatory however, I don’t think Floyd wants any of that right now….

Posted April 22, 2014 7:07 am

No boxer is afraid of any other boxer which is why they do it for a living. That said, Floyd’s problem is not he’s afraid of certain fighters, his problem is he KNOWS he can be beat if he fights certain fighters that are not stationary. Maidana is a stationary fighter…who will be hittable all night long. You need to remember, Floyd has fought an elite fighter in their prime much less, one in their youth who also happens to be athletic. Canelo was not althletic but then…. never know the reason Floyd resorts to his crutch (catchweight) to win fights. Please don’t repeat what Floyd has probably brain washed you with which is….Canelo asked for the catchweight clause. Give me a frigging break. Regardless of who asked for what…….the fight was fought at catchweight….to benefit no one but….you guessed it, Floyd!!

Another sad day for Pactards

But we already know who pacroid is gonna fight. It’s going to be Marquez for the 9th time.then the pactrannys are going to say that Pactrannie is so good. He fought Marquez eight times.
Something Floyd never did.

So anon.. All of sudden Mayweather is scared of Porter.. You weren’t saying this yesterday last week, a month ago. Why doesn’t Pactranny fight Porter or Thurman???? Or GGG.
Oh that right. You wanna see Pacroid fight the same fighters over and over.
Let me guess. You wouldn’t mind having pacroid fight Rios again. But God forbid. If Mayweather was to fight Canelo again. We would be hearing screams from a empty bucket.

There is no prohibition on betting in Christianity. One of the key principles of Christanity is that people should be wise stewards of everything God gives them, including their time, talent and treasure. Therefore if you gamble, you’re commanded to be good at it instead of reckless.

Boxtra-’Age is not the factor in Boxing.’ Wrong. Age is a factor in any sport. Hopkins is the only man to do this at his age in almost 150 yrs. To oversimplify, it isn’t easy or everyone would be doing it. Age comes with experience. All factor into a boxing match with many other factors including skill, size, strength, speed hand & or foot, power, technique, conditioning, style etc. If you equated your boxing “knowledge” & “teaching” ability to a math teacher, you could only teach addition….with a calculator.

I think Floy’ds rectum must be quivering at the thought of having to face one of the current 147 title holders not named maidana. maidana, as anyone knows, is easy work..that’s why Im watching it the week after and avoid paying to see a sideshow. That said, highly doubt Floyd has the testosterone level to face Thurman, Porter or Pac. He can avoid Porter and Pac but….Thurman is his mandatory so Floyd is in a frigging pickle right about now. There are no more maidana’s to make him look extraordinary so, its a possibility Floyd may retire before completing his contract with Showtime which…..wouldn’t surprise me in the least.

Boxtradamus, you also said you bet on Broner and didn’t think he’d lose. He was upset by a big underdog.

Floyd could be upset anytime and so could Ward. Porter might beat Floyd for instance, you don’t know. Warren Buffett would not take your advice because he has a million times as much money as you have and didn’t get there by listening to advice from non-professionals who don’t know what they’re talking about. He’s in the insurance business so he knows all about odds. He plays in an arena where the odds are a lot tighter than boxing. He can’t bet 5 billion dollars on a fight. They won’t let him. But he can buy 5 billion dollars worth of shares in BAC and watch them triple. So now he has over 15 billion in BAC stock but he’s not selling. He expects BAC to go much higher in the next 3 years as the banking industry recovers.

TERRIFIC guess but NO Cigar. I can teach anything I CHOOSE to teach and I choose to teach the FACTS about Boxing. The FACT is that I haven’t picked the LOSER 3 times in a row and I never WILL.

I’m a Christian man SO I don’t gamble TOO much but I always bet on Mayweather and Ward. Thats called getting automatic return on your investment. Warren Buffett’s 88% WINNING percentage can’t touch MINE. He needs to take MY advice and bet his 65 Billion on Mayweather and Ward. He will NEVER lose instead of LOSING 12% of the time.

Boxtradamus, you couldn’t teach kindergarten. You couldn’t teach sandbox. If you pick a winner and the fight is a draw you lose. If you bet on a KO and it’s a decision, you lose. If you predict a specific result and get it wrong you’re wrong.

Anybody who was right on 95% of their boxing predictions would have sky high confidence and bet on tons of money on fights. You don’t. They wouldn’t share their predictions with anybody without charging damned big money. They would be richer than Warren Buffett because he only gets 88% of his investment predictions correct. He only has 65 billion dollars after giving 32 billion to charity. You’d make him look like a piker. You’re wrong so often everyone knows you’re a phony.

“You claim to never get it wrong 3 times in a row with any boxer”-FALSE. I claim to never pick 3 LOSERS in a row and I back it UP. The 1st Pascal Fight was a DRAW which means that I did not pick the LOSER. And in the 2nd Fight Hopkins showed that SKILLS was more important than PRIME once again as I always TOUT. And I THANK Hopkins for helping ME to prove MY point.

It certainly was when Hopkins faced the 2nd rate Pascal.. You picked Hopkins for their 1st fight and Pascal for their 2nd fight and were wrong both times.. You claim to never get it wrong 3 times in a row with any boxer … but you did with Hopkins…

Last night’s fight was a old man versus a 5th rate cherry-pick, Hopkins couldn’t lose … and if Hopkins fights Stevenson or Kovalev he’ll get murdered early verus Kovalev and late versus Stevenson … however I don’t believe he’ll ever fight them.

Dawson is a light hitter so Hopkins risked it… unsuccessfully.

“No. Shumenov got FLOORED by a highly-skilled, heavily experienced, world champion boxer.”-YES I taught you WELL. Age is not the factor in Boxing. SKILLS IS. But he couldn’t do it because SKILLS trumps PRIME.

He did it people, he did it!!!!! Bernard “The Executioner” Hopkins (55-6-2-2 NC, KO’s 32) once again defeated the odds and once again he won against a 19 year younger prime aged opponent, young to be his own father of.

Bernard Hopkins is just amazing. 49 years old and totaly out-boxed and outsmarted the younger and stronger champion Beibut Shumenov, a guy ranked 4# by The Ring Magazine in the Light heavyweight division.
Its unbelivble how Hopkins can still play the game, at top level, to fight a champion, to beat a champion and be the champion!

Hopkins is simply amazing as a fighter and his boxing records and legacy just keeps to improve and become more solid as time shows us. His lagacy was long time agao secured but he is still here to make it better.

He is defenitly one of the 10 greatest boxing world champions of all times “Pound for Pound” both is victories, world titles and records broken shows all that.

Congratulations Bernard Hopkins for your superb victory and now unified IBF/WBA/IBA light heavyweight world champion!

Now they are three in thelight heavyweight division to claim world champions status.
1# Bernard Hopkins – IBF/WBA/IBA
2# Adonis Stevenson – WBC/Lineal
3# Sergey Kovalev – WBO.

I would pay to see you fight Hopkins, because after reading your laughable comment I am certain after he ensures you have signed away all the insurances and waivers that Hopkins would kick your 50 year old ass and administer the sort of beating we see on poor old people on Crime Watch programs. He would literally smash you to bits legally and illegally. Your pathetic comments should have stopped before you wrote you’d knock him out. Yep, you’d probably be able to put Brock Lesnar in a kimura lock in the UFC, score the winning penalty in the Brazil World Cup Final and run a sub 4 minute mile… in your pathetic dreams!

Hopkins is boring, but a novice like you would get smashed to bits every way, but Friday. You’re no Larry Merchant and God forbid if someone laid a hand on him, we’d be picking him off the canvas for a week.

Sit back in your rocker and drink your milk and be thankful you can see your teeth sitting there in the glass by your bed, you old fool.

Gentlemen, I must apologize to Paulie Malignaggi. I was way to harsh and him and should not have degraded him so much. Yes his personality is annoying, but he’s a fighter, and fought some of the best and did the best that he could do. I must respect him and will no longer criticize him again. I hope he makes a good decision for himself about retiring, and I know he will continue to do a great job commentating. He reached a high level in boxing and he never ducked anyone. Maybe fame changes some people, and maybe it did him a little. His talking was very irritating to me, but he always gave it his all. I wish him the best, and will keep him and his family in my prayers.

James you are obviously just a hater. Hopkins hasn’t ducked anyone! He fought and destroyed Pavlik when he was at his prime. Beat Tarver, badly, when Tarver was the man at 175. And now B-Hop wants Stevenson. “Lots of 50 years who could do that.” ?! Name one! You will NOT understand how difficult it is to compete, especially at a world-class level, until you double your current age. Let me tell you as a 50+ year old athlete, competing against young lions at B-Hop’s age is INCREDIBLY difficult to do. It takes SERIOUS commitment!

@JAD hmmm… Well, maybe but you gotta take into consideration that Porter came forward like he did because he was facing Paulie. Had it been vs another top fighter with a bit more pop & sharper jab Porter would’ve fought accordingly. Adrian, pac does not have the movements he used to have. his legs are heavy. hence, he will get caught with heavy shots more often. porter on the other hand has still flaws in his game, wide and careless. but if pac cannot hurt porter–then porter will walk pac’s punches–that will be it. fighting porter is not the best option for pacquiao at this point.

Some stupid ass thinks he’s funny, posting as me.

Pac is gone if he fight Porter. The kid is too fast, punches too hard, and jabs too well. It’s a tough fight for the kid, but a winnable fight … Shawn could possibly beat Floyd too. He’s getting better with every fight and is the best ww opponent for Floyd.

Shawn said, “I’ll go study the recording and see what I can do better.” … Not much.

Hopkins should fight Kovalev or Stevenson… He’d get knocked out by both, but he’s fought enough “what’s his names.” … Shumenov doesn’t have a basic jab and can’t hook with any accuracy. He has ZERO defense and can’t get under a punch… Hopkins should have made him look like a total fool — which Campillo obviously did.

Shumenov needs a trainer because he teaches himself how to fight… and not successfully.

He kept telling everyone that he was some kind of legend. His boxing ability has been that of an amateur almost winning the City Golden Gloves tournament. He came up with excuses about how his fragile little hands prevented him from being a knockout artist. He was a loud mouth that could never back anything up. Malignaggi was nevr anything more than a good sparring partner for top guys to beat up. Tonight he received what he had coming to him. Fighters, please don’t run your mouths, act like your something special without having done one thing, talk down to others and criticize great fighters that have done more in one day than you have done in a life time (Manny Pac Man Pacqiao) or you will end up takign a beating as i had posted earlier, and sent to retirement like I had also posted. Malignaggi can go home now and retire. Good bye and good riddens. I will give him credit for being a professional fighter, which by the way anyone can do. And I will forgive him and take back every negative thing i have ever said about him once he apologizes to the greatest fighter of all time, Manny Pacquiao for his verbal attacks on the legend. Jealousy, and envy of a great man and fighter get you what Malignaggi got today, a butt kicking at the highest level. Malignaggi, don’t you ever criticize Manny Pacquiao. Don’t you ever have his name come out of your mouth unless it’s to praise him. Don’t ever be something you’re not capable of being, which is a great fighter. Never ever insult Manny Pacquiao because you will get what you got tonight. Have a good retirement Paulie Malignaggi.

What it really show is paulie is a boxer, and he couldn’t duck or move out of the way of about 3 right hand lead from 4 feet away in front of paulie , porter was that fast just full connect hook right hand and leaping left hook connected on a fast boxer, why? Because porter is a slugger/boxer, a slugger would not be that fast to connect from the outside, that the impressment part, porter fast hands.

Paulie is finished. No disrespect, but Prter didn’t win anything tonight. Cotto smashed Malignaggi to bits 8 years ago, so did Hatton and then Khan.

Porter bullied an old, aged boxer.

Paulie should retire, he’s got nothing left.

Tricks77, I did the same thing … Boxing Judge Gustavo Padilla is another terrible choice to be doing this job. His scorecard of this fight should be very interesting to view. I can’t believe the judges for packed events aren’t better qualified – To be honest…Boxing needs to leave the three judge format, create a lottery between 40 top writers and have 11 of them create and vote on something better. Judging and punch stat counting people are too mysterious!

Posted April 20, 2014 1:00 am

Boxtradamus

Mike Tyson-Porter had more SKILL. Simple as that. More Boxing IQ TOO. Just as I schooled TARK and Herron on month or SO ago. Power punches are more effective than jabs. And when all you DO is jab and can’t follow it UP with significant Power shots your opponent will no longer respect your jab. Paulie agrees with ME on that.

Shumenov is absolute rubbish. He has no defence. Zero foot speed. Zero hand speed. No game plan. No trainer. And he was ring rusty and inactive. That knock down was comical. Shumenov stood there like a statue. Stevenson and KOvalev would’ve KO’d in couple of rounds.

Posted April 20, 2014 12:30 am

They would also smash Hopkins to bits.

Posted April 20, 2014 12:51 am

Tricks77

Because of this outrageous decision (I had it 118-109 Hopkins, giving rounds 1 and 2 to Shumenov) I went back on Boxrec just out of curiosity to check Gustavo Padilla’s judging record. Since 2007 he has had 10 out of 26 fights that have gone to the scorecards in which he does not have the same result as even one of the other judges. This didn’t change the result, Hopkins still got the victory, but this is yet another example of how boxing judging is inherently wrong. Especially when after the fight, a fighter who was involved the split decision says things like, “Hopkins was the better man.” “I used the wrong strategy.” “Tonight wasn’t my night.” “I am angry I did not get the victory.”

Hey, That’s My Bike!!!

Boxtradamus – Why is that? So they can all jump to HBO when Kovalev comes across, just like Stevenson did by fighting on the same card as Kovalev and then running to Showtime because he knew Kovalev was too much for him. it isn’t Kovalev management that is the problem with boxing.

JC could take a good punch, although he never fought anyone who could really throw like Kovalev — who I believe would paste the wide open Calzaghe hard enough to nail him to the floor. Calzaghe was almost as hittable as as that other previously undefeated guy, Nathan Cleverly … and fought in the same style as Cleverly.

Shu 2-3 Hop – Hopkins wins the round on landing some hard straight right leads. Shumenov tried to finish the round with a flurry but not even close enough to win the round. Shumenov needs to up the pace or its over.

Posted April 19, 2014 11:52 pm

Mike Tyson

Mayweather1 I have to back Hopkins, out of respect for his history, plus for old times sakes. his experience should get him by. And you?

Posted April 19, 2014 11:52 pm

Octavius Jomar Chatman

Shumenov is a sucker for that RIGHT HAND. B-Hop is landing the more defining shots. It’s far and few; but he is landing the more telling blows.

Posted April 19, 2014 11:51 pm

Hey, That’s My Bike!!!

Shu 2-2 Hop – Hard round to score. Give it Hopkins for his good early work in the round. Shumenov needs to bully Hopkins. Or Hopkins will pickpocket rounds and potshot to victory.

Hidalgo.., “There’s a possibility that Paulie could stop Porter … in winning his WBA welterweight title from Senchenko a couple of years ago, Paulie cut him up enough to cause the ref to stop the fight.”

Senchenko has a very low skill level. Kell Brook showed where that no defense dude is at… Paulie is in the same talent class as Senchenko… Shawn Porter is in the same talent group as Kell Brook—well talented boxers who need a real fight.

They both dispatched their untalented opponents with ease … so what I want to watch is Porter vs Brook.

What’s wrong with the concept of the best fighting the best??? I would really go for a Mayweather-Porter fight as well. This kid Porter can box AND punch. Bradley just boxes and can’t throw.

I see Mayweather-Porter as a close fight … and Porter-Pacquiao as a dangerous fight… This kid Porter is young — and he’s fast.

Squared-Circle Real Talk (a.k.a. LionKing), broner think he a slick boxer but he just a reglar boxer as paulie. Slugger/ boxer as porter, Bradley, manny, Lara, eat reglar boxer for lunch, a slick boxer? We don’t know. Maybe zeb Judah was a slugger/boxer.

Hopkins is picking him apart in this 4th round. Shumenov needs to speed it up. He is allowing B-Hop to dictate the pace of this fight.

Posted April 19, 2014 11:47 pm

Hey, That’s My Bike!!!

Shu 2-1 Hop – Hopkins established a jab and landed a few clean rights. At one point Hopkins almost turned his back and when Shu complained Hopkins tagged him.

B-Hop is trying to set him up for an overhand right because Shumenov left hand is sort of low.

Posted April 19, 2014 11:41 pm

Hey, That’s My Bike!!!

Shu 2-0 Hop – Shumenov is doing all the work and instigating what few attacks there have been. Hopkins almost looking for the 1 punch KO. Tempo needs to increase. Boring so far.

The truth came and bitten you paulie, in the interview, porter was just talking about how his sparring with PAC , and he said he learned a lot, taught his a lot, and he grew,

came back angry with a few word I don’t think PAC is a good boxer at all, he has no foot work and etc. What you tell me goes in one ear and out the other ear add in bull s/hit twice he was piss off talking about PAC.

Well paulie you and broner are both c-rated fighters

Shu 1-0 Hop – Slow start. Shumenov threw the only combo and had ring generalship. I’d like to see Shumenov get busier and test Hopkins endurance.

Sick and tired of the build up to this fight with everyone telling us how smart and wise Paulie was. He didn’t look too wise or smart in this fight, he had no fight plan and did everything wrong.. it wasn’t sad but more pathetic.. Paulie stick to calling fights, you’re great at that BUT, get the hell out of it, you’re too good as a commentator to be inside the ropes … … Boxingdictionary.com The Language of the Ring “

Porter is the TRUTH. A little wild; but this kid has the mindset and fundamentals to put it all together. His JAB was STRONG and he used it to get the job DONE. On a sidenote….I normally try not to badmouth any fighter; but Adrien Broner is a CLOWN. He looked like a gay ass Mr. T up there with Danny Garcia. I have no respect for him because he seems not to take his career serious. I’m looking at his conditioning just sitting there and he looks a bit heavy…

Posted April 19, 2014 11:12 pm

The Prince

Think about it, when was the last time you’d seen a fighter that does a great job going to the body, before chopping off the head in the style Mike Tyson did in his prime. Shawn Porter fighting style is just like Tyson in his prime, head movement and all. And unlike Jeff Lacy, he’s no hype.

Posted April 19, 2014 11:11 pm

Mike Tyson

3.  Crowd’s chanting “Paulie, Paulie.” Hard right to the body by Porter, and two more after that. They clinch. Hard left to the body and a bludgeoning right that hurt Malignaggi. Four jabs by Porter drive Malignaggi backward. Three jabs and a hard right followed by a left uppercut rock Malignaggi again. On the ropes, Porter hammers home three right hands to the body and another over the top to the head. During a clinch, Porter pounds the body with the right hand. Left hook and a right hand by Porter. Malignaggi can’t keep him off. Porter, 10-9; 29-28.

4.  Porter jabs three times, lands a hook to the body and DROPS MALIGNAGGI WITH A RIGHT HAND. He rises, and referee Sam Williams waves him to action. LEAPING LEFT HOOK ROCKS MALIGNAGGI, HE CAN’T KEEP PORTER OFF HIM. MALIGNAGGI GETS DRIVEN TO THE ROPES AND TO THE CANVAS. FIGHT’S OVER!!!!

PORTER WINS BY FOURTH-ROUND TKO AS REFEREE SAM WILLIAMS STEPS IN AND STOPS THE FIGHT!!!

Hey, That’s My Bike!!!

Porter wins by KO. Very impressive. All started with his jab. Porters fundamentals were very good and he seemed to get less wild as the fight went on. Porter became more accurate and calculated. Lovely lunging left hooks. Time for Paulie to hang them up and have a good commentary career.

Posted April 19, 2014 11:08 pm

Hands of Stone

Porter looks 2 divisions bigger than Malignaggi.

Posted April 19, 2014 11:05 pm

Hey, That’s My Bike!!!

Port 2-1 Mal – Porter is impressive. Landing some hard body punches which is leading to openings to the head. Paulie doesn’t seem to know what is coming next. Porter was even winning the jab duel by rounds end.

Posted April 19, 2014 11:04 pm

Mike Tyson

2. To start the second, Malignaggi is right there at ring center again, pumping his jab and using nice head movement. Two jabs and a right to the body by Malignaggi. Porter appears to be confused. They trade rights, and then, Malignaggi gets off a combination to finish the action. They trade jabs. Two hard right hands by and a left hook by Porter force Malignaggi to clinch. Porter lands a hard right and then a left. Jab by Malignaggi. Hard fight hand and a left hurt Malignaggi. Porter is hammering him with rights and lefts on the ropes. Malignaggi’s extremely wobbly and looks ready to go. Porter, 10-9; Even 19-19.

Posted April 19, 2014 11:04 pm

The Prince

Porter is being smart attacking the body, especially the sides. Paulie might survive, but he’s in for another Cotto type of fight.

Posted April 19, 2014 11:02 pm

Mike Tyson

What that, first punch paulie cut already.

Posted April 19, 2014 11:01 pm

Hey, That’s My Bike!!!

PORT 1-1 mAL – Big round by Porter. Hurt Paulie twice. I like Porter attacking with a double jab to get in close and unleash wild hooks. No doubting Paulies toughness and elusiveness when hurt was great.

Posted April 19, 2014 11:00 pm

Mike Tyson

1.  At ring center, Malignaggi jabs and stands his ground. Malignaggi lands a jab to the body. Porter does the same, and follows with a right to the body. Malignaggi alrdady has a cut below his left eye. Two hard right hand for Malignaggi, who eludes the oncoming Porter. Nice right by Malignaggi off the ropes. He has Porter lunging and missing. Malignaggi, 10-9.

Quillan will be kept well hidden from any top 5 through top 8 Middle. Konescy was lucky to be a top 15 Middle if we are being honest. I saw some troubling things starting with the Rosado fight. Rosado was able to back him up late in the fight and more or less have his way with him. Now he says he wants to fight Danny Jacobs. A guy who was annihilated by the Russian Pirog inside 5 rounds. If Quillan wants to remain champ, I suspect he will have to keep fighting the Jacobs, Konescy’s, and Rosado’s.

Posted April 19, 2014 10:44 pm

Hey, That’s My Bike!!!

May1 – It’s solid logic. Hopkins doesn’t lose very often so it’s not an outrageous pick. Also I’d say that Hopkins is the bookie favourite (??) anyway so it makes us Shumenov tipsters the butt of jokes if he loses. Haha

It`s so funny when you see n1gs saying he could hang with GGG.

Posted April 19, 2014 10:29 pm

Hey, That’s My Bike!!!

Hey – Well I can’t score if I’ve missed some rounds.

I’m disappointed in Quillin. He is fighting almost a blown up welterweight looking at the size difference. Konecny has no power and Quillin still won’t go all out for a KO. Quillins defence is ordinary and if Kon can get through many punches I’d hate to see what a Martinez, GGG, would do. I’d even back Sturm, Geale and guys like that to beat Quillin.

Bike- we are on the same page. I think Bernard is going to find out he has bitten off more than he can chew…. Then that’s when the fight may get ugly.

Quillian is winning the fight, but he has bad stamina issues, and he has some weak fundamentals.

Ummm Trent… Hey where is my bike has the right idea. We need actual facts not just your opinion lol. Wait until they fight

Posted April 19, 2014 10:25 pm

Hey, That’s My Bike!!!

May1 – I think Shumenov wins on points if everything is fair. You know what I mean. I think Shumenov will be too busy for Hopkins and I really think Hopkins is looking old now (rightfully so being 49). Hopkins didn’t look good in his last either. Hopkins is good enough to spoil and not get KOéd though.

Of course I’ve been wrong plenty of times before.

Posted April 19, 2014 10:24 pm

Trent

Shumenov via majority decision or majority draw. Shumenov will out work Bernard and hurt him with heavy blows. BHops guile will save him and his name might earn him a draw. BHop will turn it into an ugly fight in which he stalls, complains, clinches, and sneaks in some illegal blows

Quil 6-1 Kon – Quillin doing it comfortably now. Some really good combos and power shots. Full props to Kon for taking some of these shots and not budging a step. Great chin.

Hey, That’s My Bike!!!

May1 – Yep

Posted April 19, 2014 10:11 pm

Hey, That’s My Bike!!!

Quil 5-1 Kon – Quillin landed some great body shots. Quillin no doubt hurt Kon at the end of the round, yet Kon continued to trade and fire back. Kon doesn’t have the power or workrate to win this.

Posted April 19, 2014 10:11 pm

Mayweather1

Quill, Paulie and B-hop

Posted April 19, 2014 10:07 pm

Hey, That’s My Bike!!!

Quil -4-1 Kon – Quillin doing enough to bank the rounds. Konecny just isn’t doing enough. When Kon decides to work he actually gets through and connects more than not. This shows definite weaknesses in Quillins defence. Quillin can win this by cruising.

Posted April 19, 2014 10:07 pm

Hey, That’s My Bike!!!

Quil 3-1 Kon – Quillin landed some good hard shots in that round. Kon still stalking forward and landing a few but he makes Malignaggi look like a power puncher.

Posted April 19, 2014 10:02 pm

Hey, That’s My Bike!!!

Quil 2-1 Kon – Konecny upped his workrate and although Quillin is in no trouble, Kon is connecting with scoring shots cleaner. Quillin is hitting a lot of arms and gloves due to Kon tight defence. Waiting on this much vaunted Quillin power.

Posted April 19, 2014 9:59 pm

BritFansAreDelusional

Is this a PPV?

Posted April 19, 2014 9:58 pm

Hey, That’s My Bike!!!

Quil 2-0 Kon – Just give that to Quillin for a 3 minute workrate. Kon connected with some decent punches. Including an uppercut that either rocked Quillin for a second or Quillin was off balkance, but his legs dipped a little.

Posted April 19, 2014 9:55 pm

Hey, That’s My Bike!!!

Quil 1-0 Kon – Quillin just picking his punches as Kon plods forward without throwing in a turtle shell defence. Kon will need to up the workrate if he wants to win.

Posted April 19, 2014 9:50 pm

Hey, That’s My Bike!!!

My trifecta tonight is Porter and Quillin and Shumenov. Surely it’s time that Hopkins gets old. Shumenov should outwork him but Hopkins will have plenty of ring experience to draw on in any situation.

Posted April 19, 2014 9:38 pm

WHAT!?!

Porter – Quillin – Shumenov.

Posted April 19, 2014 9:24 pm

big head

i got porter winning over paulie and hopkins over shumenov and quillin over konercy even know if lukas can take quillin power he can make it interesting but stylewise lukas should be tailor made for quillin lukas is flat footed and slow and shorter so quillin should be able to get off with uppercuts and hooks around that high gaurd of lukas but lukas is tough tho if rosado can push quillin back and push him around then lukas proably can do the same but he got to be able to handle quillin power first if lukas can get on the inside go to quillin and stay in his chest he can have some success i see this being a hard fight for qullin then people think but i see quillin winning tho maybe by ko in the late rounds
