I think Thurman has it all, he can box , turn it on when he has to, and he hits hard, yeah Soto Karass caught him but he survived and his defense improved .Thurman is a problem and will be a champion,

I bet Thurman isn’t getting the same amount of criticism for fighting Diaz as Khan got.

Fight Aficionado

How old is Thurman? He’s got the worst hair line this side of Lebron James. PS: Only a retard website would say I’m posting too fast when I’ve not been here in 24 hours. Fix it.

Thurman was all but knocke dout by Soto Karass, so I’m not sold on him. I don’t really see anything special. Broner showed speed, defense, and good boxing skills until he met a real fighter that wouldn’t let him have his way. Broner fell apart. I think the saSure are a lot of seats left for this Mayweather fight. No one is buying all this hype about Maidana. I really do think people have tired of hearing Floyd talk about how everyone will buy his fights to see him win or lose. Sorry Floyd, your run is over. There’s no longer any interest in your safety first style of boxing. People are tired of hearing all the excuses of why you won’t fight The Legendary Manny Pacquiao. No one wants to pay their hard earned money to see you take on fighters one dimensional fighters that offer little more than a punchers chance. It’s not just fans tiring of Floyd Mayweather, it’s his own peers. The legends from the past. One look at his 24/7 segment, and anyone can see what fame and fortune do to a man. This is not a fighter or a person we want anyone to emulate. Boxing was built on warriors that put themselves out there. They challenged themselves. They fought on their opponents area of strengths and tried to prove they were the better fighter. Look back at the 70′s and 80′s and before. Sugar Ray Leonard, Marvin Hagler, Roberto Duran, Wilfredo Benitez, Carlos Palomino, Hagler, Ali, Foreman, Frazier, Lyle, Shavers, Holmes, Norton and others were gallant fighter/punchers. Ask any of these guys about Floyd Mayweather today, and they frown. Why because Floyd Mayweather has deluded the description of a fighter. Marcos Maidana has more respect from true boxing fans because he’s a true fighter that takes on everyone. he actually fights. The last time Floyd Mayweather tried to actually fight a little was against another respected fighter, Miguel Cotto, and he didn’t like it. Boxing is about taking on all challengers at their best in their prime if possible and ducking no one. Floyd fails miserably in this area. His reputation is truly tarnished. Look at Joe Frazier. The man was a true warrior and never ran from anyone. He had the courage to take on everyone regardless if they had beaten him before. Fighters fight. Manny Pacquiao is without a doubt the most respected and admired fighter of today. he ducks no one, never has. He has been calling out Mayweather, but we all know Mayweathers answer. I do hope fans boycott this farce of a fight card. Fans can have a big impact on things. The sad part is that Mayweather is going to regret not fighting Manny Pacquiao when it’s all over for him. Time has passed him by. The biggest Mega Fight in boxing history never happened because Floyd Mayweather was afraid of the little man. Both fighters were in their prime, and all was set, but Floyd continually asked for more demands. The reality of the situation is that Floyd and his family didn’t want the fight. Uncle Roger, Floyd Sr, both let their feelings be know. Floyd himself admitted that he didn’t want his health compromised. Wow! Amazing what fear does to a man. me thing happens to Thurman. Broner has more skills than Thurman, but much less power. Diaz isn’t going to prove anything, bu tit might expose him a bit. he should be able to take him out before 6 rounds.

Orozco does sound promising …How often do you encounter a fighter with this record (9-0, 15 KOs….. copy pasted from article..)

Sure is one to watch LOL

julio past his prime for a while already, not really a test unless Thurman isn’t as good as we think

How were you sold on Broner but not sold on Thurman? Thurman has showed a bit more in my opinion than Broner ever has and he has also been tested a couple of times and has come through those test.

Thurman is a good fighter, but I’m not sold on him at all. He’s yet to face any of the big names or good boxers. I see a lot of holes in his game. He’s a bit overconfident and will get a wake up call once he fights a top fighter. He’s not as good as he thinks.

This is a step backwards in comp for Thurman. I am glad he recognizes that and he even said he was hoping for a better fight. But says he was set up with this stay busy fight and needs to take care of it. I think next year Thurman will be ready for the likes of Floyd. He also would like to take on Porter, Thurman looks to be the goods and seems to have a bright future.

Thurman looking to make a statement by doing a better job on Diaz that Khan and Porter did (which he will) I think Thurman v Porter would be a really good 50/50 match up

“promising unbeaten junior welterweight Antonio “Relentless” Orozco (9-0, 15 KOs)”

There’s a stat that’s very hard to earn– the guy has 9 fights with 15 KOs. LOL!

Love Keith Thurman but this is a step or 3 down I would love to see Thurman in with an Andre Berto and see if he is ready for the big boys. I believe one time is the next WW king and will be so for a long time.
