I praise maidana, yes he a slugger, but why he can make to the b rated class, a belt holder?
Is because have a unpredictable mix style of punching Floyd will have a hard time to find a set pattern.
His safest bet is a body left hook. And maidana has a left hook, right and a lobbing over the top coming down. 3-4 punches one after the other, that where he belive Floyd will be, that a B fighter experience, now canelo need to see where his punches will land now, that too late for fast fighters,
That comes fights.

DMX, maybe but he has to be 2x better than port who had a draw to Dias and khan won super close , porter did revenge his draw,

Counter punches are a slugger nightmare. Porter had to out box Dias 2 fight to beat him.

as a counter punches sense punches and can fight extreme close fight and not get hit, you have to overwork or outbox a countering puncher, to win PAC has this same trouble with JMM.

Thurman looks good and im a fan but we all shouldnt get on our knees. Hes up and comin

Consider this Dias is a counter puncher and he very fast, and has ko power too. But because he a experince counter puncher, they are quicker and will match you point wise.

they know inside fighting and the punching distance is to avoid punch and counter it, that’s there specialty. These aren’t D fighter or unknowed fighter that are easy to ko. or All offense.
So rule out a ko On Thurman’s side , now who wins on split decision points? that your winner.

Really?

Keith continues to consider himself elit fighter, but has yet to fight a welter weight fighter in the top 15 in the division. I’ve seen C+ give him serious challenges and he gets hit to much. I’m not convinced.

I believe Thurman and Porter are the WW’s of the future. They are also true welterweights, not smaller fighters that have come up. Porter looked like a monster last week. I expect Thurman to blast out Diaz as he is supposed to within 6 rounds.

From the few fights I’ve seen Thurman in, he seems like the real deal. Have not seen someone do that to Soto-Karass in forever.

Thurman is an up-and-coming young fighter who is making a name for himself. Even though I think Julio Diaz is a step down from Soto-Karass, this is still going to be an exciting fight because, Thurman has exciting fights.

can’t do nothing about a weak chin, khan will always have that problem. good boxer, but one good hit on the chin and he’ll do the chicken dance or fall like a tree. khan isn’t even the best in the UK at 147, Frankie Gavin would beat Khan.

Mike Tyson

Iam just comparing body types and hights. As a example, I don’t want them to fight.
Khan did gain a few pounds and he will look stronger this fight.

Posted April 25, 2014 3:17 pm

DMX

No chance
Khan was put on his arse by 135 lbs guys
To face GGG quite possibly the most destructive puncher at 160+
You must really hate Khan

They would be peeling him up with a paint scraper

Mike Tyson

DMX no, same body type, both tall, lanky same mideast region. Both still can add weight and GGG don’t look 170 lb, khan was super skinny, he look good now. Muscle. he just added a few pounds. New weight class.
Khan was miss managerment, he was at 140 lb starving himself. So I saying he will suprise and be powerfull.

DMX

Mike Tyson
Are you suggesting Amir Khan fights GGG?

Posted April 25, 2014 2:54 pm

Mike Tyson

Also on the khan fight? Why isn’t there a article? he on this Floyd card, khan he about the same hight/built as GGG and similar region. GGG dont look 170 lb khan was fighting at 147, he was starving himself. Growing mean hungry. I say he was miss management. And He will pick up more power, and lose very little speed, I say the 4-7 lb will show up as a khan that look like he back and very powerfull and might give us a ko.

Not really sure in this fight. As Thurman old tubes are slow to watch, I don’t go for fighter because on one strong ko fight. And the tubes I seen of Thurman are so boring,
I could skip this fight but going out on a limb.
I going with Dias, the counter puncher, he far too accurate and can also ko Thurman and will earn respect.
I say he neutralize Thurman boxing and win a split decission Dias is underrated and Thurman meet his match.

Dmx that is a good question. I think maybe its because khan was considered more of an elite fighter at that time more because of how he spoke bout himself rather than what he did in the ring. Even though i think Thurman is better than Khan he is still considered more of an up and coming fighter.
