hookoffthejab

wow rios came back strong LOL didnt see that stoppage coming HUGE roverhand right by rios started that ..

Fight Aficionado in Boston

Everyone who likes fighting – not running – figured this would be a FOY candidate. They’re living up to expectations.

Posted October 13, 2012 10:42 pm

hookoffthejab

rios looks like he will gas before mike will alvarado looks the more comfortable in the ring IMO ….

Posted October 13, 2012 10:28 pm

Boxtradamus

Oh MY bad. I mean that the ref might throw the FLAG on ME.

Posted October 13, 2012 9:15 pm

mex

Rios by k.o in late rds. Mexicans keep boxing alive..take notes WTF.

Posted October 13, 2012 8:57 pm

Skyfall

Mike Alvarado said something recently that made me raise a big eyebrow. He said he was going to try to stay on the outside and fight. It’s like, you have the biggest opportunity in the world to create a legendary fight. Are you really scared to fight Rios on the inside? You really want to make the fight boring? Come on, mike. Fight like a man.

Posted October 13, 2012 8:45 pm

Boxtradamus

I must not hide alot then.

Posted October 13, 2012 8:43 pm

Boxtradamus

The FACT is that Nishoka is NO WHERE to be found on the Top 10 P4P list. Therefore he’s #0.

Posted October 13, 2012 8:42 pm

Uglyosaurus

Boxtradamus…everytime you are wrong, you hide for days…

Posted October 13, 2012 8:16 pm

Boxtradamus

Either you’re Top 10 P4P or you’re #0. The Official P4P list only goes from 1-10. Everything else is MYTHICAL and I don’t believe in MYTH. I believe in FACT.

Posted October 13, 2012 8:16 pm

Boxtradamus

I NEVER hide out. I’m HERE whenever I get the chance. Why would I hide out from MY own celebrations??? Why do YOU think half of ESB RETIRED??? Because it seems like I’m always here celebrating. I WIN SO much that MY celebrating is borderline EXCESSIVE. IF this was a game of Football the ref might blow the whistle on ME.

Posted October 13, 2012 8:15 pm

Uglyosaurus

Hey Boxtradamus… How many times will you foolishly call someone ‘#0 pound-for-pound’? Just because someone is not in the top ten or even in the top 25 pound-for-pound does NOT mean they are #0 pound-for-pound. I would NOT call Chad Dawson or Miguel Cotto top-ten pound-for-pound fighters, but they are FAR from being #0 pound-for-pound. I would say fighters like Dawson and Cotto are easily in the top 50 pound-for-pound, but NOT zero.

Uglyosaurus

I pick Donaire and Alvarado to win and even if I am wrong, I will acknowledge it and I will discuss the fights afterward. I will not hide out for a few days if my predictions are wrong, like Boxtradamus – the coward and liar.

Posted October 13, 2012 8:01 pm

Boxtradamus

Too bad that correct spelling is LESSER than picking the WINNER.

Posted October 13, 2012 7:56 pm

Boxtradamus

Nope. HE actually spells it better than I DO.

Posted October 13, 2012 7:55 pm

It’s Me, Ernie

Your name groupie spells Alvarado’s name incorrectly also.

Posted October 13, 2012 7:25 pm

Boxtradamus

I SAID take Rios. Don’t let MY Name Groupie confuse YOU. Take Alverado at your OWN risk. Donaire Fight is EASY money. Its Top 4 P4P vs #0 P4P.

MAYWEATHER , NEEDS TO LEARN FROM THIS FIGHTERS. PLEASE YOUR FAN’S AND FIGHT THE BEST. THANK GOD WIN HAVE MEXICAN FIGHTERS TO KEEP BOXING ALIVE.

Posted October 13, 2012 6:09 pm

mark

Alvarado is a x wrestling champ and all x wrestlers have big heart’s ! Alvarado may not have the skill’s of Rios but i bet on alvarado heart and will power. THIS FIGHT MAY GO DOWN TO THE LAST ROUND ?

Posted October 13, 2012 6:05 pm

largo

Nonito is over-rated & Rios is not elite.

Posted October 13, 2012 5:58 pm

largo

if Rios ain’t 100% ready, Alvarado will take’im out..if Nishioka made his homework & nullify Nonito’s counter hook, he should win…

Rich

DOES ANYBODY ELSE GET THESE STUPID MESSAGES,CAN ANYONE EXPLAIN THIS

Posted October 13, 2012 5:47 pm

Rich

What is that all about “you are posting to quickly slow down”….WHAT DOES THAT MEAN,I’VE ONLY DONE 2 POST HOW MANY Am i allowed…

Posted October 13, 2012 5:43 pm

Rich

Update…. canceled my last bets,am now betting Alverado to ko Rios and TOSHIAKA TO WIN BY LATE STOPPAGE…..IS THAT WHAT YOU SAID Boxie……Only its a bit vague and might be construed as something else and we wouldn’t want anymore controversies….

Posted October 13, 2012 5:32 pm

Boxtradamus

Alverado’s Firepower is LESS than Rios’s and thats what the Fight hinges on. Rios by stoppage. Please watch more Boxing. Rios can’t make 135. SO weight is not a factor. Since both have no Defensive SKILLS, Offensive Firepower and resiliency will be the deciding factors. Advantage Rios.

Posted October 13, 2012 5:32 pm

Boxtradamus

GOOD try Name Groupie but MY picks remain the SAME. Rios and Donaire. I am the GREATEST Fight Prophet ever born!!

Posted October 13, 2012 5:23 pm

TheFacts

Funny weigh-in now in all of a sudden changes everything lol,i thought skills pays the bills?I don’t see how a 135lbs rios moving up after fighting smaller men & clearly losing his last bout beats a bigger/stronger Alvarado & i didn’t make this assumption after weigh in.Rios is in for a long night.Either i’m right or wrong don’t really care as long as fight lives up to the hype.

Posted October 13, 2012 5:22 pm

Rich

I’m betting your predictions,Boxie as a back up to mine… Donaire win..Alverado win…..

Posted October 13, 2012 2:26 pm

WTF???

Dumb Dumb Rios is going to get KO’d for sure.. he’s all smoke and mirrors just like MargaCheato..

Posted October 13, 2012 2:09 pm

mick

Alvardo by TKO in the 10th

Posted October 13, 2012 1:48 pm

The Mad Scientist

Boxtra- I been waiting to see who you were picking between Rios/Alvarado..these are the type of fights that tells us what your foresight is really made of.

Posted October 13, 2012 1:46 pm

Boxtradamus

Also Donaire by stoppage.

Posted October 13, 2012 12:45 pm

Boxtradamus

Alverado is tailor made for Rios. He wants to stand and trade with very little to no head movement. He also doesn’t have enough firepower to stop Rios in his tracks. Alverado has some resiliency but Rios’s resilience is GREATER than his. Rios by late stoppage.

Posted October 13, 2012 12:44 pm

Rich

C’MON Boxy lets hear the big prediction…

Posted October 13, 2012 12:20 pm

WTF???

Alvarado should be able to keep Rio’s ass as easily as Cuban Abril did… it was a one sided Boxing lesson…
