im going with gamboa – dosent see him as particularly chinny – he is open, sometimes – thats not the same. In the big fights he’s been in, he has been controlled, measured and not very open. A great fight – cant wait.Posted May 10, 2014 5:12 pm
Who fight Crawford in the past? Nobody.. gamboa:salido,Solis, ponce de Leon, farenas, what u talking about? Maywheather duck him big time and everybody kno that..he will crush this dude and then micky Garcia is next!!!Posted May 10, 2014 4:44 pm
I disinterested forget what Gamboa did in the past. I’ll can tell you exactly what he did in the past. He fought Lester fighters than Crawford and has been dropped like 7 times. The people dropping him were fighters brought up from lower weights to make him look good toPosted May 10, 2014 11:42 am
PEEJ is right, Crawford is improving all the time, Gamboa has a punchers chance, but that’s all. Crawford will in, and there’s every chance he’ll stop Gamboa who doesn’t have a good chin. He’s been down several times against average fighters, Crawford is much better than anything Gamboa has faced.Posted May 10, 2014 9:30 am

Gamboa!!!!Posted May 9, 2014 3:40 pm
Two live champs being matched to fight and this is what boxing needs.
No idea why fans are whining about this or either fighter.
Fair play to both fighters for sticking their names up for the fans.Posted May 9, 2014 2:40 pm
fully agree with PEEJ.
Gamboa has been put on his butt by boxers far less skillful than Crawford. Gamboa has a punchers chance but I expect Crawford to dominate the fight and perhaps stop Gamboa. But it’s more likely to be a points win.Posted May 9, 2014 1:32 pm

Sweet, I got tickets! Rarely do us Great Plains boxing fans get a chance to see fights of this caliber live.Posted May 9, 2014 12:56 pm
back in the 80’s a fight like this could have been seen on ABC’S wide world of sports for free on a Saturday afternoon. ah the good old days.Posted May 9, 2014 8:13 am
Crawford is gonna win by decision or stoppage. Won’t be that close. Gamboa is chinny and Crawford has enough pop to put him down and continue with the punishment unlike other opponents of Gamboa that had put him downPosted May 8, 2014 11:27 pm
Crawford is huge, the way bigger man compared side to side with GamboaPosted May 8, 2014 8:44 pm
This is a great match up. Both highly skilled fighters that can fight in all areas. Gamboa has a little more pop in his punch though, and his top level amateur experience (Olympic Gold Medalist & over 250 amateur fights) will come into play. Crawford is solid. His ambidextrous boxing ability is unique because he’s equally effective on both sides. Both guys have good stamina, Gamboa is a little faster, but not much. It’s hard to make a pick. Crawford has the better chin, Gamboa has fought the better competition. Both are hungry for the spot light. I hope the home town fight (Crawford’s Home) does not play a part in the decision. This fight will be a Sugar ray Leonard vs Wilfredo Benitez type fight. Wills & Skills. I’m taking Crawford by split decision after breaking it all down. This is a close fight.Posted May 8, 2014 8:18 pm
If Ray Gordon Reid is picking Gamboa, then put all your money on Crawford. Ray Gordon Reid couldn’t pick his nose.Posted May 8, 2014 7:20 pm
This is such a great fight .
It really deserves alot more exposure than it will actually get.
