Who is Haye?.Posted May 14, 2014 4:23 pm
Hidalgo, don’t obfuscate..
With Diaz’s loss to Khan he only had 2 wins in his last 5 fights. It was his 8th loss overall. It wasn’t his 1st loss in 2 years like you claim. He was knocked out in 3 rounds by Kedall Holt less than 2 years previous. A 12-year-old losing his first fight doesn’t say, “That was my first loss in 12 years.”
Khan had some good wins.. But some terrible losses.. He never beat anyone of the caliber, and at the point in their career, that would qualify him for a shot at an elite caliber fighter such as Floyd Mayweather. Floyd ought to fight the best out there: Lara… Porter… Thuman… Brook… even Pacquiao who is still an ATG.Posted May 13, 2014 6:14 pm
khan is not a sophisticated clincher. no finesse. he clinches like a cowboy wrestling a steer. he rides his neck like he’s applying an mma choke hold.Posted May 12, 2014 9:50 pm
Con needed to fight the top 2 WW before even thinking of Floyd. It’s obvious he wants to cash out otherwise, why the rush. Besides, what has he done lately that has been quite remarkable to earn that shot? The man is fortunate Collazo will not be pressing sexual harassment charges against him with all the damn hugging and holding he does. At times, he appeared enamored of Collazo in the manner he would hold him, a sort of loving embrace.Posted May 12, 2014 4:53 pm
“Who has thurman fought? his best win is diaz.”
Look… Khan struggled with Diaz… got decked and almost smashed out… and only won because the fight was in England.
Thurman beat Diaz so easy Robert Garcia pulled Julio out after 3 rounds — to save him from a smashing KO defeat.
And Thurman’s best win isn’t Dias you dummy, it’s Soto Karass, who beat the living crap out of Berto and stopped him… Soto Karass was a sparring session for Keith.Posted May 12, 2014 4:32 pm

What did Amir Khan prove by beating Louis Callazo?
LOL Haye. Khan had a nice comeback but it’s not full circle yet. He’s gotta beat Garcia first, then talk about Floyd would still be premature but not patently absurd.Posted May 12, 2014 2:46 pm
The whole idea of a public poll to decide his next fight was genius simply a ploy to get everyone worked up to spark interests and boost sales he already knew it would be Marcos not he way he was challenged more people will tune in for his next bout watching close for surePosted May 12, 2014 1:17 pm

Khan vs. Maidana 2 or Maidana vs. Jr 2 are higher on the list. ‘Deserving’ a fight w/ Jr really just means have one good showing previous. Khan like Guerrero & Maidana has met that criteria. The problem is Maidana didn’t play the usual part of hopelessly over-matched sparring partner to Jr. The best scenario was Maidana vs. Khan 2. But Khan wanted no part of that.Posted May 12, 2014 11:36 am
So if i got this right Mayweather asks the paying public who he should fight next and they say Khan. So Mayweather goes for Maidana but dangles some carrots to Khan. Khan does his bit and handily beats Collazo who most of the jock straps below had predicted would whoop Khans ass back across the pond. Now Collazo is a bum. Khan is a pu**sy and deserves nothing. What gives fight fans? Why the hate? And if Mayweather the cheery picker is so damn good why not see Khan’s ass handed to him on a plate?Posted May 12, 2014 11:16 am
At only 5’7 and appearing only mildly thick, not sure how successful Porter would actually be as a middleweight. He would be a heavier version of Curtis Stevens and also, would not be as fast as he currently is at 147. And certainly, he doesn’t have the same strength at 147 that he could have at 160. That said, Porter is in his element at 147. He’s fought only once at 154……4 years ago.Posted May 12, 2014 10:17 am
One win at 147lbs against a 32-year old who didn’t even put up a fight and Haye thinks Khan deserves Mayweather? No way.Posted May 12, 2014 10:07 am
I agree porter does look the business but he is a middle weight beating on welters so its not surprising.Posted May 12, 2014 9:49 am
Who has porter fought? To date, not many well known fighters or bad asses but that isn’t because it’s his fault and that’s not indicative of Porter lacking skills. He’s demonstrated who he is by blowing out Alexander. He just became champion and is willing to fight ANYBODY, unlike someone who just got a thrashing by a 15-1 underdog. Porter doesn’t beg, brag or run. Only way to prove his mettle further is to fight the best which he will shortly be doing in fighting Brooks who is a formidable opponent at 147. But this is only the beginning. Porter will be around alot longer than Guerrero, Ortiz, Baldomir, Maidana and JMM. This guy is no one trick pony.Posted May 12, 2014 9:31 am
just use google, you will see that garcia dad flat out refuse the rematch.
You seem to have one rule for khan and another for everyone else. who has thurman fought? his best win is diaz….who has porter fought? he went life and death with diaz first fight and his best win is against pauli. of course you dont have to like khan he does have a weak chin and he does hold….but you dont hate on wlad for that……Posted May 12, 2014 8:44 am

@ y ou know what?– If Con doesn’t hold and hit, (very dirty) then it’s a mystery as to why a point was taken from him, or in your “brilliant” thinking, was it taken because he was simply following rules?????????? If laws were a bit more applicable, Collazo was in his right to file sexual harassment charges against Con with all the unnecessary holding and hugging. Perhaps Con has a fetish he hasn’t yet explained.Posted May 12, 2014 7:21 am
Khan Should face porter…. i think porter would KO him better than Prescott or Garcia. Khan does not deserve a shot at Mayweather… he should stop begging for that fight and face one of these fighters Prescott, Garcia (avenge his losses), Porter or Kell Brook. Personally all of the fighters mentioned would beat Khan by KO, with the only exception being Prescott. Khan would not face one of these fighters… we can only ask why he would avoid these fighters???Posted May 12, 2014 6:27 am
Prince Naseem was three times better than KhanPosted May 12, 2014 5:06 am
Lets not give Floyd and easy PPV. He has to earn his last three fights. How about Khan vs Alexander like it was suppose to be last December. Khan played with team Alexander and I hope Mayweather plays Khan until he retiresPosted May 12, 2014 5:04 am
Anonyg@y…go back to hugging your bf and stick a tampon into your azz you stinky grease ball. Khan is a clean and respectful fighter, something Maidana is not.

brown bomber… That’s a lie. Khan won’t fight Porter and didn’t want a rematch with Danny Garcia. He’s very selective. That why he fought Carlos Molina and Julio Diaz.Posted May 12, 2014 2:08 am
Besides, Con didn’t impress and he’s about as dirty if not more so than Maidana. He can’t fight clean and win. He hugs more than a gf.Posted May 11, 2014 11:56 pm
I WISH…..Con had the testicular fortitude to fight Porter but that’s a pipe dream. Porter is not Collazo. Porter is a beast on steroids….figuratively speaking of course.Posted May 11, 2014 11:54 pm

Floyd and Pac should just fight already. And then throw in Maidana before or after. Not sure. If Arum gives up Pac, make that fight. If he doesn’t, make the Maidana rematch.Posted May 11, 2014 6:50 pm
Shane Mosley schooled Collazo Years ago.Posted May 11, 2014 6:48 pm
I don’t think his fanbase/1 M ppv buys is the only reason he’s in the discussion. His foot speed and hand speed present a potentially difficult matchup for Floyd, who hasn’t faced an opponent with such high levels in those departments since zab judah. If you’re looking solely at quality of opposition he doesn’t deserve it but just because he may lose to Thurman, Porter or maidana does not mean that he will be an easier fight for Floyd than those fighters.Posted May 11, 2014 6:40 pm
The Maidana that fought Floyd stops Khan in a rematch at 147. Khan always tires after the 7th round. He slows down and stops moving as much. This is when you catch him. Also, I haven’t seen anyone test his body with a body attacks. This is the kid I can’t wait to see get stretched. I’m waiting for him to get knocked out cold. He needs a dose of reality. I truly think he thinks he’s the best. He’s delusional. If I was Floyd, I would make him wait and fight someone worthy. He’d have to fight Thurman, Porter, or Maidana II. He’d have to literally earn it!
I don’t think he has honestly. I think he’s being looked at strictly because of his fan base and his ability to help attain 1M buys. That’s the only reason he’s in the discussion. He has a Ricky Haton-like following. That’s all he has going for him.Posted May 11, 2014 6:00 pm
Khan deserves a deal with MMA. He’s a headlocker and constant holder just like a lot or European fighters (Wladamir K.). I don’t think he has the goods. I think he has some gifts like hand speed and some lateral movement. But in reality, he’s a runner and a grappler. I don’t like his style. Although I understand that Middle Eastern descended fans like him because of their heritage, I think he’s overhyped. I think he caught Zab after he was over the hill. He caught Collazo also late in his career. Malignaggi had no power to hold him off.
I don’t think he beats any legitimate 147 pounder including: Maidana, Porter, Thurman, Mayweather, Pacman, Alexander, or Bradley. He loses to Ruslan, he might even get knocked out by an old Marquez. He loses to all of these guys. The reason why he’s crying so much to fight Floyd is because he wants to cash out. I guarantee if were ever to beat Floyd(which is highly unlikely) he wouldn’t defend his title.
Pacman. Or. Retire. PeriodPosted May 11, 2014 5:25 pm
According to your own logic khan deserves a match with Floyd cause he beat maidana….now really in a perfect world where the best fight the best of course he don’t deserve a match but don’t use idiotic logic and your personal prejudice against khan to hate.Posted May 11, 2014 4:13 pm
Hayes an idiot.
Garcia, Peterson and Prescott all deserve a Mayweather fight before Khan…they all beat Khan already.
Khan needs to get back on the road and get 4 or 5 credible wins under his belt against top 10 competition, also he should look to reverse his losses and have rematches with all those he lost to. only THEN will he be a credible opponent for Mayweather.Posted May 11, 2014 3:35 pm
Maidana whipped up the Whiney chump.Posted May 11, 2014 3:22 pm
Maidana made the fight close because he fought Mayweaather the best way to have any chance to beat him. He was not iin awe of Maweather, went after him, fought close and did not allow Mayweather to get into his rythum. Mayweather won the round that Maidana chose to box. The fight was 5 rounds piece until the 10th and depending how you saw the last 2 rounds determined the winner.Posted May 11, 2014 2:10 pm
Maidana was dirty it looked more effective than it actually was if you look at the fight again he missed the majority of his shots. he threw over 800 and only landed 200. He used his knees head butting hitting below the belt and behind the head he should have been disqualified the referee allowed that BS people hate Floyd so much that they would allow that to go. Floyd fights him again it would be easy work stay on the outside and outbox him like everyone else. Kahn is a crying ass girl he avoided Alexander and a rematch with Danny Garcia who by the way KTFO of him he is a buster who hasnt earned a shot. I hope Floyd does fight him and Manny before he retires to stop the crying and the bleeding from the haters that bePosted May 11, 2014 1:56 pm
Floyd/Maidana II. That will sell more tickets than Floyd/Khan. You can’t count on Khan, When he fights, I always wonder when the punch is coming that will make him do the dance.Posted May 11, 2014 12:51 pm

@Horace….That’s what he was suppose to do if he was hurt; he still was not able to knock him out; so that speaks volumes to Floyd’s ability to take a punch. He tried to hit the man wherever he could and it still did not work. Honestly; I feel like something was wrong with those gloves of his because of the way they carried on about it….No need to fight dirty and take cheap shots if you got skills!!!!!Posted May 11, 2014 12:08 pm
Correction: it was around 1:43 of round 5Posted May 11, 2014 11:30 am
Maidana hit him with at least one clean shot. It happens around 1:46 of round 5 where he jabs up top, fakes a jab to the body and throws a right hand. While it was not nearly as big a shot as Mosley hit him with, Mayweather immediately clinches Maidana’s right hand very much like he did against Mosley.Posted May 11, 2014 11:28 am

Maidana doesn’t deserve a rematch. He tried all he could but couldn’t connect a single clean shot. He’s a one dimensional brawler and now Mayweather knows his style and the rematch would be easy for him. I would rather want to see him against slick fighters like Lara(if he gets past Canelo), Khan or of course Pacquiao.Posted May 11, 2014 11:14 am
Khan would kill Pac. You saw what happened when Marquez hit Pac flush on the chin. Khan will feast on Pac’s face.Posted May 11, 2014 11:12 am

You guys are dreaming…I see a second fight with Maidana next…Kahn is supposedly unable to take a fight in September because of his observance of Ramadan; so you can’t fault Floyd for that….Floyd will have two more fights left after that; maybe Kahn can get one of those slots. In the meantime; I hope he learned his lesson of putting his eggs in one basket; and stay ACTIVE this time. Fight one of those up and comers and stay busy and prove without a doubt you should be NEXT!!!!Posted May 11, 2014 10:51 am

Kahn is a easy win and a easy payday for Floyd. Why not take the fight he could earn another 70+ million payday why not plus they could hype it up and fight in the UK. Collazo had his moments were he stunning Kahn who has a glass jaw. Floyd will not have the trouble of figuring Kahn out and the rough housing like he did with Maidana he could outbox Kahn and make alot of money doing it hell he would be stupid not to take the fight really…Posted May 11, 2014 10:16 am
