Going 2 b interesting fight. Mundine took him a little lightly last time but Geale is a better fighter now. Geale the stalker Mundine the accurate counter puncher with lighting speed….looking 4ward 2 this.Posted October 19, 2012 10:52 pm
Geale isn’t the same fighter he was vs Mundine in 2009.
there is only one middleweight champion his name is gennedy golvolkin the rest are just contendersPosted October 18, 2012 11:51 am
“Anthony Mundine puts his USA dream on hold to fight WBA and IBF Middleweight Champion Daniel Geale!” Yeah I think most fighters would if a couple of world titles were on offer doh.Posted October 18, 2012 5:01 am
Hahahahaha Nice one AD. That pretty much sums it all up.Posted October 18, 2012 2:15 am
If he hasn`t slipped what the hell happened vs Garth Wood?Posted October 18, 2012 1:49 am
KFY…this is the best fight for Geale for many reasons….
1. HBO don’t have a date for GGG v Geale till march
Only 1 negative in all this for Geale….Mundine ain’t slipped and he’s going to KHTFO!!!Posted October 18, 2012 1:42 am
Kinda disappointed in this fight. Geale deserves the pay day but Mundine has done NOTHING to deserve this title shot… in fact he’s done everything in his power NOT to deserve the shot (i.e. ducking title shots with Golovkin back in 2010, then Trout more recently).
Having said that, Mundine could win the rematch… depends on how much he has slipped as he’s been in with relatively soft competition since the first Geale fight.Posted October 17, 2012 11:08 pm

Id be very suprised if Mundine repeated his win over Geale.Posted October 17, 2012 9:54 am
Geale lost the first fight…pitter pat girly slaps don’t count as scoring shots…stop kissing Geale ass…Mundine is going to take his belts and give Geale his second loss…and Gary Shaw and the Grange are going to cry for weeks lamenting the decision to fight Mundine againPosted October 17, 2012 7:02 am
I cant believe dan is giving mundane a rematch. He won the first fight but the fix was in. Mundane has ducked and weaved all good fighters and chances for titles when there was doubt. He has hand picked all his opponents from day one and hasnt earned a rematch.. Dan should be fighting Martinez or the best MW in America. I hope to christ that daniel sends mundane to retirement via knockout. Mundane was ordered to rematch dan after independant judges viewed the fight but relinguished the belt and changed weight divisions. Only because mundane cant get big names in america he called out daniel now because he,s got 2 belts.Posted October 17, 2012 3:33 am
AD it was actually 2 defences before he fought Sturm. 1 easy Ermosele Albert and the other against Top 10 (at the time) Adama. Then he whooped Sturms butt. Once Geale has demolished Mundine he will take on Golovkin or even better a unification for all the marbles against Martinez.Posted October 17, 2012 1:47 am
He couldn`t keep both belts – IBF mandatory was Soliman and WBA was Golovkin. I have some sympathy for Geale here since it was STURM not Geale who ducked Golovkin for 2 years. Geale won a title, had an easy defence and then unfied in his next bout, and was then still hoping to unify further in the next bout (vs Martinez). That isn`t the action of some cowardly ducker.
By the WBA’s own usual rules Geale would be a superchampion and be given additional time to fight his mandatory (Have they made Wlad and Povetkin fight yet???).
I like Golovkin, and I want to see him get big title fights, and I hate Mundine getting a shot when all he has done is run away from serious challenges for the last 3 years, but I won`t have a problem with Geale unless he goes the soft or easy money option again after Mundine is dealt with.
How many other current world champs fought a unification away from home, in the next but one fight after winning their title? Not many.Posted October 16, 2012 11:56 pm
Pointless rematch that’s lose-lose for Geale. He loses to Mundine by some chance, he looks like a hypejob. He wins and watches one of titles disappear anyway.Posted October 16, 2012 10:40 pm
testPosted October 16, 2012 9:23 pm
i give geale a great chance of beating marriville would be a difficult fight as sergio would spend most of the time back peddling from daniel though geale would score enough and may even be able to stop sergio ……………….Posted October 16, 2012 8:42 pm
Geale had no better options but to fight Mundine, he’s not interested in GGG or he would have fought him in early next year instead of Mundine. No interest in Soloman as it’s an ugly fight with small financial upside. Not enough money in Sturm rematch considering how much cash the Mundine fight will make.Posted October 16, 2012 8:33 pm
This will most certainly be a much bigger fight than there first one in Australia. First I think that it is great that Geale is giving Mundine the opportunity to fight for his title, and I also have to give kudos to Mundine for giving Geale the opportunity to avenge is only defeat.Posted October 16, 2012 8:09 pm
Don’t get me wrong, I wanna see Mundine got creamed, but surely the time has come for Daniel to head to the US and take on a the MW divisions very best. The time was perfect to do it given the hype around the middleweight division, and the fact that Daniels profile was at an all time high over there after his win in Germany against Sturm….. On a monetary scale, its a good fight for Daniel, but a HBO fight against Golovkin for the WBA strap would have seen the exposure for bigger paydays…………Posted October 16, 2012 8:02 pm
“Geale by DOMINANT UD or late stoppage.”
Here we go with wonder boy’s “prediction.” Two guesses, as usual. He cant’ pick one or the other so he picks both. Then he can claim he was “right again.” “Dominant UD” LOL!Posted October 16, 2012 8:00 pm
Golovkin should fight Andre Ward in SM, no? huh for what? no balls?Posted October 16, 2012 7:58 pm
Geale by DOMINANT UD or late stoppage.Posted October 16, 2012 6:34 pm
Easy win to Geale just like the first fight until a farcical decision prompted a rematch from the IBO and Mundine ran scared. Geale gets to kill 2 birds with 1 stone here. Big payday and avenge an ‘L’ on his record. Then it’s on to GGG or Martinez.Posted October 16, 2012 6:23 pm
Don’t forget the influence of Gary Shaw over the IBF judges as well…he played a major roll in the scorecards being filmed in the Sylvester fight and he made sure he had his favorite officials scoring the fight…this gives Geale the edgePosted October 16, 2012 6:23 pm
Mundines handspeed will always be a problem for Geale as will Geale’s activity be a problem for Mundine, it will probably be another close decision but If Geale can avoid getting dropped like he did the last time he will probably pull this one out..Posted October 16, 2012 5:53 pm
If Mundine was in sloppy condition and still clearly won the first fight, he should win going away this time. Going forward, I see only good things career wise for Tony. He’s a much better fighter than most understand.Posted October 16, 2012 4:06 pm
Geale is a world class fighter, and he will beat mundine properly this time round. BUT……… geale is the weak link of the middleweight champs IMO, and Golovkin will make him feel very mortalPosted October 16, 2012 3:07 pm
Golovkin wins no matter what happens. I get Geale wanting to avenge his only loss (which seeing as it was Mundine, that must hurt). Still, either he wins, and then is forced to fight Golovkin,Posted October 16, 2012 2:07 pm
Geale runs so quick from Golovkin that instead America, he appeared in his own Australia. Next time he will need to fight GGG, he will run to Antarctica or what?Posted October 16, 2012 1:01 pm
Just like Anonymous said, fight GGGPosted October 16, 2012 12:53 pm
Mundine beats Geale then Mundine fight GGG and get’s destroyed!Posted October 16, 2012 12:46 pm
Mundine beats Geale for the second time….then gets his big fight in the USA!Posted October 16, 2012 9:08 am
No doubt Geale will have the volume of punches on his side, interesting fact will be if Mundine can land power shots cleanly enough to get the judges decisionPosted October 16, 2012 6:51 am

Geale is gone mate, sooner you lower your expectations the easier it will be for your rehab
Mundine won’t stand around with a euro stiff guard and no movement like Sturm and Sylvester did…this fight is just too easy for MunfinePosted October 16, 2012 5:35 am
Ha ha ha, geale has a chin of granite. You must be winding me up with these comments. Nobody seriously believes Mundine will stop Geale, not even the disolutional Mundine or his camp. I love the way people say hes a 3 time world champion when he has never won a title of a champ. Its either vacant or a rubbish interim title.Posted October 16, 2012 5:28 am

Why do they need international judges?
Must be plenty of approved WBA and IBF hundred in Australia!
Oh and your right about one thing…it won’t go the distance…Geale gets stopped inside 10 roundsPosted October 16, 2012 5:23 am
Listen to you Mundine clowns, everybody knows Geale won the first fight, you can see Mundines Muslum henchmen intimidate the weak Aussie judges. It is well known one judge changed a round for Mundine which got him the SD. With the belts on the line, there will be international judges there that wont be swayed by that rubbish. Thats of course if it goes the distance. After Woods and feather fisted Ottke have rattled his weak chin, i see a devistating KO.Posted October 16, 2012 5:20 am

Mundine will take Geales belt and leave him with his pants round his ankles…. it’s over for GealePosted October 16, 2012 5:09 am
