Manny Pacquiao continues to mystify people all over the world by doing things the average person just can’t do. Coach of the Kia Motors basketball team is yet another title he wears, which in a way should be considered his 9th world title. This accomplishment is unheard of. Head Coach of the Miami heat, Erik Spoelstra has now asked Manny Pacquiao to join him and his team. This is no surprise because Manny Pacquiao is an inspiration to not just boxing fans, but to professional sports, dignitaries and Presidents around the world, and the women, children, adults and seniors throughout. HOOKOFFTHEJAB my friend, this is a man with many talents. And maybe during the time of his rise, Manny gave into the temptations and did a few wrong things. He has since turned his life around and his family loves him dearly as all boxing fans do. Listen, I’ve made a few mistakes in life myself as we all have. TJ my friend, I’m just a big fan of Manny Pacquiao and admire his incredible rise from poverty to the pinnacle of greatness. It’s the best life story ever in my humble opinion. And Eminem, nah, I don’t listen or care for his music. My favorite music to listen to is Manny’s rendition of When We Touch and a few others he sings. Peaceful with no bad lyrics. ANONYMOUS my friend, my posts are only to share my thoughts and maybe get others to feel the same kind of inspiration I do regarding a man that had no hope. A man that no one really cared about. Sleeping on the streets, selling donuts and looking for a way to help his mother get a better life. Manny had a terrible life growing up and most of us would not have made it. This is poverty especially when your father comes back to supposedly see him and his family only to eat his pet dog. Horrible! Today Manny Pacquiao is at peace with his gorgeous wife Maria Geraldine “Jinkee” Jamora Pacquiao. Gentlemen, we are talking about a master boxer, harmonic and sensational singer, Quality actor and the world’s only politician that does things right and works for the people. This is why he is considered by the most inspiring and influential person in the world. Fans like to focus focus on his extraordinary reign of terror in the squared circle from 2005-2011 when he destroyed and dismantled every top fighter in the sport. Barrera, Marquez, Morales, Hatton, Diaz, Margarito, De La Hoya and others. I was in awe of watching all of these fighters line up and go down like as if they were bowling pins and Manny was the bowling call. I would have never thought humans could be shattered in this manner. Manny Pacquiao also played a little soccer in his youth on the streets, which brings to mind the World Cup. Don’t be surprised if he gets that call. Manny could be coaching there also. I don’t have the words to describe this man’s God given talent and abilities. Kia Motors did their homework and choose the right man. trust me on this, Manny Pacquiao will win a championship with this team. Manny is the best!

Hecdog honestly? Are you for real? This fight is now irrelevant. If Floyd outclasses Pacquiao there will be many that say “ah but Manny wasn’t the same guy as he was 5 years ago” and the same will apply if Manny does the business. Personally I think Mayweather would always beat Pacquiao at any respective stage of their careers.

Manny Pacquiao is simply the most talented man on the face of the earth. A legend inside and outside the ring. Manny Pacquiao has a bottomless pool of talent in his DNA that allows him to achieve things we can only imagine. The PBA in my opinion is one of the most talented basketball sources the NBA scouts use for potentially great basketball players. Manny Pacquiao obviously has the eye for talent otherwise he would not have been chosen for this prestigious position. I have been trying to contact Kia Motors in an effort to purchase historic jerseys, caps, shoes and other memorabilia before everyone sells out. I dare anyone to name one other person in the world that throws himself into as many careers as Manny Pacquiao and succeeds. Manny Pacquiao is at another level in life. I would go as far as to say that Manny would probably beat California Chrome in a race. This is a man that does not have limits. Kobe Bryant created his own shoe after being inspired by Manny Pacquiao. Manny knows basketball. I expect to see him on the court contributing to the team’s victories. Let me stop and take a breathe here. I’m reading off of my chalk board that has listed all of his accomplishments, and the board and chalk are just about done. Congressman, Actor, Model, Singer, Philanthropist, I can go on and on, but a basketball coach at just about the highest level is paramount. Manny just signed a huge contract for himself that has set him up for life as well as his children, and this is only boxing. His sponsorship’s and singing engagements are mind boggling. His tax issues have been resolved, and if Miguel Cotto finds it in himself to fight Manny Pacquiao in hopse of revenge, Manny will win his 9th division title. Unbelievable! Why do some people have so much talent. Manny Pacquiao is also rumored to run for the Presidency in the Philippines in the near future, and guess what, he wins that also. This is what happens to a true man of God that walks the walk and talks the talk. Manny Pacquiao is a humble, caring, selfless, respectful, giving, honorable man that has set a standard for people to be like and live like. he is the most sought after and loved man on this earth. Manny Pacquiao is without a doubt the greatest pure boxer of all time, but he still has much more titles to win and mountains to conquer. I know the haters will show their envy after reading this historical accomplishment by Manny Pacquiao. And that’s okay because Manny will forgive you as I will also. Trust me when I say this, there will never be another Manny Pacquiao ever again. Please purchase Kia Motors Basketball jerseys if you can. Manny is the best!

Don’t worry AUZ they choose to forget that fact about the forty mill. He could never have taken it under contract, but hey he lies about money earned, hits women, fights easy beats Ortiz and guerro. Floyd dumb dumbs. All said maidana was getting stopped and didn’t even mark his face. Floyds granny would of done better

Posted June 10, 2014 12:41 am

Floyd made a 40 mill offer whilst manny was under contract. He doesn’t work with arum does he, so just proves he never wanted the fight. Lets hope floyd ends his career soon we want fighters that take risks not this picking and choosing to suit crap!

Posted June 10, 2014 12:32 am

Dexter

I’ll be glad when PAC goes away. That means all these Pactards will go away with their asinine reasoning. Manny had his chance to fight Mayweather twice and both times the PAC declined. PAC and Arum had many excuses for not fighting the p4p best. So now that PAC has tax problems he needs Mayweather. I don’t blame MoneyMay for not taking Mannys stupid invitation to fight for free. Floyd is now telling the pinoyette to kiss his black @r$e.

Floyd ain’t doing 1 mill buys either with the most expensive undercard in history. Manny was under contract when he offered 40 mill so floyd knew he couldn’t take it. Floyd doesn’t work with arum remember. I think that’s this weeks excuse

Posted June 10, 2014 12:21 am

hey ‘enough already’ I think u already said more than enough already without even mentioning that manny offered to fight Floyd for nothing right? proceeds to charity right? Floyd’s reaction was? nothing..just simply nothing.. I guess that pretty much puts things in perspective.. and anyway is anybody really interested in this fight anymore?.. i’m not.. I don’t wanna watch big names..rather watch big fights..boxing is still a sport for me..not some kind of show business spectacle..

Posted June 9, 2014 11:31 pm

enough already

800,000 ppvs is not a big fight 1 million now you talking. Mannys fight wont do 1 million these days no one wants to see him fight Marquez over and over like I said, Floyd, Danny Garcia, Canelo would all be big fights for Manny but we will never see them thanks to his Jew master….

Posted June 9, 2014 11:17 pm

enough already

We sorry Azzbox 40 million is just not enough money for Manny. He turned Floyd down just to get KTFO by Marquez for 20 million and the IRS took it. Manny is done name one fight who would turn down 40 million and a chance to fight Floyd? Fighters would give there right arm for a once in a lifetime chance like that. But not Manny now he is kicking himself in the ass. Floyds fights sell out Vegas….

Mega fights without manny hey. Manny did 800000 on his own with no undercard. Floyd with the higest paying undercard in showtime history did under a mill haha LMAO FOOL

Posted June 9, 2014 10:26 pm

Auzbox

No he didn’t Forbes researched it. Go read the article by Forbes on floyd. His networth with cash and assets is just a tad over 200 million. If he got 100 mill for one fight I think his networth would be a little higher dint you. As for maidana ppv sales it was poor under a mill so no he didn’t get 30 mill ppv you idiot your a liar. Don’t believe all you read

enough already

Poor Manny always the bridesmaid never the bride lol…

Posted June 9, 2014 10:24 pm

poor pacturds

Auzbox he made 70 million for Marcos 35 guaranteed and another 30+ on the ppvs check the numbers he made 100 million to fight Canelo it was the highest paid boxing match ever. He has mega fights without Manny. Manny on the other hand ppvs suck and he looked like sht against Bradley. Pac has nothing but IRS troubles…

Posted June 9, 2014 10:17 pm

Auzbox

Mansworld floyd has never made 70 mill in his life for one fight. Forbes researched the canelo fight and he walked away with 50 mill and had to pay tax on that so floyd is a liar and you idiots believe him. Maidana made 40 and had to pay tax on that

Posted June 9, 2014 10:11 pm

Auzbox

Floyd offered the 40 mill for manny to be a free agent when manny was under contract so PAC could never accept it unless he was to break a contract so stop going on about it your all wrong.

Manny has his chance and blew it thanks to Arum in 09 over blood testing logically the fight was lost all its luster because of Mannys loses the only ones to still long for it are Mannys loyal followers Pac struggles against lesser opponents than Floyd. So at this point Floyd Makes 70 million fighting the like of Maidana and Kahn so he has Mega fights already. Manny on the other hand has nothing…

Curly Henderson was a good opponent for Cormiers 1st fight at lhw. Cormier as good as hes looked was still working his way up the ladder. Henderson has been falling down the lhw rankings losing to guys like Machida, Evens and Belfort all top 10 lhws. But his wins over Shotgun, Fedor and Babalu plus winning the strikeforce lhw tittle at 40 kept him a relavent player in the mma world. Dude if you follow mma you know Henderson is a living legend who revived his career at strikeforce and you still have to be a high level lhw to share the octagon with this guy. Now dont get me wrong ufc has scared me with some decisions recently, the Machida Davis decision both Edgar B. Henderson decisions but the ranking system, 1 belt per division and champions Having to fight the #1 contenders make ufc the premier fighting organization as far as combat sports are concerned. Just look at the Barao Dillishaw fight. You just dont get that from boxing these days. I will always love the art of boxing but its really toeing that line between combat sport and entertainment. There will be those marketable fighters that hang around but overall they do a great job staying on the side of sport.

No, I am not posting too fast. Now for my comment. To those who believe that UFC’s version of MMA is legit, try explaining to me the 2013-2014 version of Dan Henderson and the UFC. His last 5 fights record are: loss, loss, loss, lucky punch win after suffering a beating for the rest of the fight, loss. Look at the tape of his fight against Belfort. See Henderson’s blind man punching technique, and tell me how Henderson qualifies to remain an active fighter let alone an opponent for Comier’s most recent fight. I could site other questionable fight and outcomes, but if Henderson’s last five fights don’t cause you to doubt the legitimacy of the UFC/MMA, then I don’t know what it will take. One more thing; the UFC has lost me as a fan. Even if I relegate it to entertainment and not spost (just like pro wrestling), I can no longer waste my time watching/following it. Note that I am not saying that some of the fighters are top athletes. They are; however, the UFC is different that the WWE only in that the WWE is promoting itself as entertainment and not sport (which the UFC does not do but should).

I think what the writer’s trying to point out was that Mayweather is a runner. Wrong titled article!

Posted June 9, 2014 11:45 am

TARK

This pundit says.., “Boxing’s popularity have declined in the past years while counterpart MMA’s popularity skyrocketed and is currently at its height.”

This is complete bunk – Boxing popularity has never been greater on a global scale and MMA is not even an Olympic sport. I love MMA but to compare it to Boxing is ludicrous.

How many MMAers make the paydays of a Floyd, Pacquiao, or Wladimir???

This pundit says.., “It can be recalled that Mayweather demanded Pacquiao to undergo series of drug testing for the fight to push through. The Filipino warrior nodded as long as the fight-purse is balanced.”

LMFAO!!!! How long ago have these issues been settled???

This pundit says.., “Bob Arum’s Top Rank right after a Mayweather or Pacquaio fight, pushes for the idea of a mega fight, but as usual reasons and excuses arise.”

Whose reasons and excuses are they???

This pundit says.., “Mayweather-Pacquiao bout is on” and is on the verge of not happening ever, unless they put aside the issue on who gets the bigger fight-purse.”

Do you live under a rock??? The money split was agreed to years ago and Floyd would get by far the bigger paycheck. Pacquiao long ago conceded this to make the fight happen.

This comment is DIRECT to the author of this article, why not find a NEW or fresh piece of boxing to write about? Does any part of your psyche suggest to you that this topic is GROSSLY overdone on ESB?? Do you not recognize the declining significance of this contest as Mayweather and Pacquaio approach 38 and 36 respectively?? If the fight was made I would watch like everyone else but I recognize that more questions than answers would arise ie “What would have been the result in 2010,2011 or 2012…??? The sport has to move on and embrace other matchups and rivalries when Ray Leonard and Tommy Hearns fought they were both in their 20’s as were ODH and Trinidad at this rate Mayweather and Pac will be 40 its time to move on..

The oracle of Delphi

No, it won’t. Mayweather is afraid, doesn’t want the fight, so it won’t happen ever.

Posted June 9, 2014 8:25 am

Love-the-Sport

I agree with some of the comments that Mayweather vs. Pacquiao would have been more relevant 5 years ago …

IMO Mayweather vs. Pacquiao happens if Cotto vs. Alvarez happens …

the reason is that I believe Cotto vs. Alvarez would be a huge fight — huge mexican audience, huge puerto rican audience, huge hispanic audience, and some of the mainstream audience — it is probably 2.5+ million PPV buys setting all kinds of records.

If Cotto vs. Alvarez is a great fight and there is a rematch then Cotto vs. Alvarez II would be even bigger.

Mayweather vs. Pacquiao might happen then … because even though there is less interest, Mayweather vs Pacquiao would still be a big fight and it would be the only fight that could match Cotto vs. Alvarez.

What this means is that both Mayweather and Pacquiao are getting older and becoming less relevant in the boxing world. Even though Mayweather has been sort of running from Pacquiao and maybe Pacquiao has been running from Mayweather or blood testing or whatever — they waited too long.

I don’t think they fight unless they are forced to fight to stay relevant.
