the way alexander looked against bailey brock got a great chance of winning now brock is younger and better skilled fighter then bailey is and much more quickerPosted October 21, 2012 12:18 pm

it’s going to be interesting to see what happens @ Bantamweight. Both Jamie McDonnell & Lee Haskins look to have secured World title fights, so with a bit of luck we can look forward to an all British unification next year.Posted October 21, 2012 9:34 am
Murray should be stripped. everyone knows thatPosted October 21, 2012 6:45 am
MIX, from what i remember Groves vs Anderson 2 was made. Then Groves got injured so he pulld out. Then he was offered a world title shot vs Steiglitz so he gave up his title, then got injured again so pulled out of the steiglitz fightPosted October 21, 2012 6:44 am
Daly Jr: Groves didn’t relinquish, he was stripped which is double standards from the BBBofC. Take a look at Martin Murray. He’s not defended in ages, but the board havn’t stripped him. Groves vs Anderson needs to be made.Posted October 21, 2012 6:30 am
That didn’t happen – Saldivia did attempt to rally but at no point did he win a 10 second portion of the fight never mind have Brook “…in distress…”.
Brook still has lots to prove – he’ll now be let of the reins.Posted October 21, 2012 5:58 am
Can’t blame Brook for the quality of opposition last night, that was an eliminator for a world title. Also, after a shaky performance against Jones, I wouldn’t expect that he’d want to have jumped into a title fight next.
He looked very impressive against a poor quality operator. He looked very impressive against Jones until around the 6th round, hopefully his stamina problems are behind him. Brook v Alexander will be a good fight, but I can see Brook bullying the much smaller man to a wide UD.Posted October 21, 2012 5:48 am
There’s a reason Brook was 1/12 on with bookies to win that fight… Bcos his opponent was a bum who’d beat no one other then journeyman. He didn’t beat anyone in the top 30 in 44 fights & got ranked 4th by ibf. What a joke.Posted October 21, 2012 5:36 am
MICK…………… groves pulled out of the anderson fight, not the other way round. Groves would win the fight easy now. But Groves cant be seen as the champion when he vacated the titlePosted October 21, 2012 4:56 am

Q: We need to get back to “MY LORD,LADIES & GENTLEMEN”! When in Rome do as the Roman’s, when in England do as the English!
Brook needs to fight outside of the UK more. I’ve got friends in Australia, Canada & the USA who’ve never heard of him.
Lets hope his next fight is against an opponent with a heartbeat.Posted October 21, 2012 1:53 am
i will never watch bailey fight again …if you can call it that ….Posted October 20, 2012 9:14 pm
I’d like to see Brooks fight the Guerrero-Berto winner.Posted October 20, 2012 8:15 pm
TARK: Yea Fark… because in 3 years they’ll all be retired. Don’t be silly… Brook doesn’t approach the potential to surpass those names in any manner. He’s 26… FM was FOTY at 21 and by 26 a multi division champion… don’t play games with my sport with your ignorant agenda.Posted October 20, 2012 8:14 pm
Oh buger…..Posted October 20, 2012 7:35 pm
Ozzy – in defence of Quigly – Brook did have “Special One” on his shorts.Posted October 20, 2012 7:31 pm
though if you keep fighting guys like saldivia canelo might just pick you out ? …..Posted October 20, 2012 7:29 pm
cmon Kel step up already saldivia is nothing special said oulia took him out in 1 if you cant get the big names from the usa to fight you how about scraping the bottom of the barrel closer to home ? rafal jackiewicz has to be as good if not a little better than the bum you just fought ? Lee Purdy ? Selcuk Aydin ? Lenny Bundu ? or Janet Zaveck these guys have to be better that the guy you just danced with ……..?Posted October 20, 2012 7:22 pm
Micky Mouse fights like this does nothing to enhance the reputation of boxing. This might impress some people but would hardly convince any boxing fan worth his salt that this match up was nothing but a set up…..By the way justice has been done the logical fight he is entitled to he turned down…….Posted October 20, 2012 7:09 pm
Yep, Kell may not be the best fighter to ever come out of the UK, but he’s still good enough to hold his own with the likes of Bailey/Alexander etc, and win an alphabet belt – that’s still pretty “special” if you ask me. And can’t believe Reid’s still fighting? Froch crushed the shell of Robin Reid years ago.Posted October 20, 2012 7:03 pm
Kell is great… I expect tremendous things from him. Kell would kill the winner of the Guerrero-Berto fight … I rank Brook right behind Mayweather, Pacquiao, Marquez, and Bradley at 147.. Within 2 years he has an excellent chance to move past these guys – i.e. if justice is done and he gets the logical fights he’s entitled to.Posted October 20, 2012 6:50 pm
Brook looks a million times better phsically. He hads tghe look of a guy that had done the work properly. Well done sonPosted October 20, 2012 6:38 pm
Anyone who cant see talent and power in Kell Brook is deluded and blind. Yes he hasn’t proved himself at the world stage, but he is on-route. All he can do is keep taking out so called bums from Argentina until he is world champion. Well done Brook and just a matter of time before he goes over the pond and brings back the title in fashion, not in a boring Mayweather fashion. Get real…..Posted October 20, 2012 6:14 pm
He ain’t all thatPosted October 20, 2012 6:03 pm
whatever dude, its not like what you’re saying is fact. your opinion on the guy isnt written in stone foreseeing his future or anything, why would anyone get upset? lolPosted October 20, 2012 5:50 pm
before you brits get all worked up, that argentinian kid was there only for a payday. Brook is good, not great and certainly not the “special one”. he doesn’t deserve to give himself that knickname just yet, maybe someday just not now. I hope I didn’t hurt too many feelings.Posted October 20, 2012 5:42 pm
