i think matt korobov and jose uzcateguzi going to be a pretty good fight to matt is the better boxer more experience and more quicker but uzcateguzi is tall and a big super middle weight if he can handle korobov power then it might be a long night for matt i see jose coming forward with pressure he cant outbox matt so he got to make this a rough hard fight looking to land that right and go to the body make it uncomfortable i like matt cause he dont waste punches he pick his spots make sure it counts he accurate he just got to make sure he aint getting outwork but i think matt should win it wont be easy tho jose size and height can be a problem but i got matt winning by ud

GOOD job big head. You’re more courageous than TARK, Hissydalgo, and Herron.

i got terrence crawford winning it even know i dont see this being a easy fight for him crawford never faced a fighter with the style that gamboa going to bring to the table crawford been fighting guys that kinda slow and flat footed with gamboa it going to be different cubans fighters they seen every style but gamboa is facing a skilled fighter that bigger and taller who technical and compact we know gamboa chin is shaky and crawfords knows that im sure crawford plan on testing it but crawford chin never been tested or tested as a fighter yet in some ways gamboa going to test him gamboa punches from different angles but crawford is a sharp shooter i think his punches will be more tighter then gamboa more fluid but i think the speed of gamboa and power will surprised crawford but crawford seem like a fighter he gets stronger once the rounds go idk who going to get the better of the exchanges when they trade but i see bud taking over in the middle rounds once he kinda figures gamboa out i think he will step up the pace so i got him winning by tko idk what round

I notice that TARK and Hissydalgo didn’t make a pick like 2 SISSIES.

I think Gamboa is far too small for this fight – Crawford is gunna look like the school bully. I do think that Crawford’s best wins are against shot fighters, Burns & Prescott, so if Gamboa is at his best it could be close. Hope this is worth staying up all night for the fight doesn’t start till about 5am.

There aren’t many comments yet because I haven’t spammed the message boards with my fake names like ACCUBOX, CORRECTAMUNDO and others.

Using fake names to big up my own predictions is pretty pathetic I know, but it is does help my low self-esteem.

I should remember not to use BLOCK CAPITALS though as this makes it kind of OBVIOUS!…. GO BOXY ROXY!!!

1200 Techs

Good matchup….Some bodies OHHHH has got to GO!
People are looking at Crawford’s win against Ricky Burns as his best win.what’s being overlooked is before that, burns got BEATDOWN BIG BY BELTRAN but won a shifty decision RIGHT before being bombed on by crawford….after that..burns looked toast…For me, Crawford win over the tough Prescott is his best win. Prescott pressed Alvarado to deep waters but got drowned himself in a rough fight. They matched him softly in confidence builder type fights to put him back in the winning column before being taken to school by crawford.
Gamboa with all his accolades as an amateur and being compared to Roy Jones like athleticism has been avoided in the past by his featherweight peers ( lopez, Mikey garcia)…he struggled in his ppv under card showing against the rugged farenas and seemed to not be able to close the show…he has long spells of inactivity coupled with troubles outside the ring. ..his best bet is to attack midrange and close against the taller longer crawford. He needs to be able to land that bigshot and take crawford out of his comfort zone.
My guess is Crawford is able to stay on the outside and win a close UD. Home crowd and ring rust will play a factor in this fight along with consistency which all benefits crawford….

There does not appear to be much interest in this fight.

You have two guys with identical undefeated records — good knockout percentages — and no one cares.

Why?

– Terence Crawford is a “skill” fighter not a banger, not a brawler, not a blood and guys performer … it is very difficult to get anybody to care about a “skill” fighter. We have Mayweather. After that, nobody cares. Andre Ward = nobody cares. Guillermo Rigondeaux = nobody cares. And for sure, Terence Crawford = nobody cares. Crawford is from Nebraska. I mean, it is like a punch line from a joke — the guy is literally from “Nebraska.” No one care.

– Yuriorkis Gamboa is a disinterested fighter. This guy has huge talent. This guy has huge power. This guy could have been and should have been a major star in the sport — but he is disinterested. He fights in spurts. He gets bored in the middle of fights. He doesn’t try to break down opponents. He doesn’t fight smart. He doesn’t try to present the fans with a great performance. He does what he wants to do. If the knockout comes — great — if knockout doesn’t come, he doesn’t care. This guys doesn’t care about his fans. So, the fans don’t care about him.

I hope we see something different tonight. I hope we see one of these fighters break-out from their previous history and give the fans something amazing. These are two talented guys who could be major stars. Fans don’t want to see skills — fans don’t want to see fighter getting bored.

Fans want drama. Give us drama. Give us a great fight.

Who has the faster hands and who’s willing to let them go more? The answer to those questions should win this fight. These are two very talented fighters, but neither consistently so, which is what makes picking a winner for this fight difficult. My gut tells me Gamboa will rise to the occasion and put on a clinic of offensive angles, speed and accuracy, but it wouldn’t surprise me if Crawford, with his length advantage and better defense, can keep him at bay early and actually walk him down late. Good fight.

Let’s hope for some real exchanges as both get frustrated by each other’s style. Should be very interesting.
