u think Nonito will beat Mares lol when’s the last time Nonito looked good? An against what competition, Mares has looked good against all but one an all top fighters. FA swallows an likes to get Spidermaned all over his face lol.

I hate to say it but Mares doesnt really have a bright future he looked good early but now if he fought the best fighters in and around his division he would clearly lose donaire or lomanchenko plz

DaTruth Hurts

There is also a clear reason why Mexico has been a Boxing Dud producing Top Unbeaten Champions over the past Decade.. Stricter Drug Testing, Stricter Glove Inspection, Keeping an eye on Tijuana Weight Gain Tricks… ever since Boxing got hip to Mexicos Cheating and started to clamp down mexico has become a Boxing dud… Just like MargaCheato without his Cement Wraps.. or Canelo without his PEDs vs Mayweather..

DaTruth Hurts

Mexico hasn’t produced a single Meaningful unbeaten Champion in over a Decade.. NONE ZIPPO NADDA ZILCH.. all hyped prospects have evaporated once they faced real opponents and not shot bums… It’s the Reason they have to keep suporting old shot hass beens like MarPeds.. and fighters from other Countries like Maidana and Matthysee… Their last hope was Canelo but once Canelo got Biatch slapped from post to post by smaller older Mayweather he too got tossed into the failed Chihuahua Trash heap..

FA, Mares is a 3 time champion, his hands have beat a lot of talented fighters, your hands have only beat up ur own CQCK

FA, there’s not much to say(?). Gonzalez defeated him in one round; the fighter Mares demolished prior to that retired; Garcia has moved up; Rigondeaux’s staying put; Donaire and Gonzalez are barely being mentioned(?); and who the f’k is excited over Oquendo? there’s simply not much compelling action or drama surrounding Mares these days. he’ll have to go out and create some . . . More.

Mares’ rep sure has declined. A year ago he was on most guys’ PFP top 10 lists and on the way up. Now only 20 people bother commenting on his stories. That’s what happens when you’re a 3/1 fave and get KTFO. It’s a long road back and his confidence may never be the same. I wish him well though.

caught your queer eye.

Did he just say that?

Why do Mex fighters like to go low so much. They love the c0ckshot.

Why they so attracted to touching another mans dong.

i’m wondering why that rematch is taking so long to confirm? it’s not as if Gonzalez has anything better to do. Mares has been his most prominent bout to date. IMO, he’s eager to repeat it and i also don’t suspect any hesitation from Mares. what’s the hold-up?

Abner will be “Damaged Goods”, until he re-matches Jhonny Gonzalez .

Mares is a damn good fighter, he is getting grief because he got taken out so quickly and unexpectedly.

Mares is a proven top fighter, he beat so many top guys an all in a row. No one fought better competition then Mares in a two year run. He got caught it happens, ill take his win record against top fighters before l go off one quick KO loss. Nonito is the one dodging top.fighters an when he did take a real fight he got beat easy for 12 full rounds.

As long as there are good fights being put up by Oscar and Bob ill watch. I aint interested in Fl”0″yd anymore. Tired of how insecure he is and acts like we as fans need him… he needs us. Im looking forward to Mares next fight

Mares definitely needs to stay at 126. After seeing Lomchenko, nobody beating him at 126

… Up until the loss, Mares had been on an 8 fight tear that with some of the very top guys from 118-126 and was deservingly being considered as a future p4p guy, and in one fight he becomes a bum? I know we’re living in the Floyd “keep the 0″ age, but the kid shouldn’t just be discarded. There’s a ton of talent at 126 and he’ll be there. BTW, he took heavy leather from the likes of Darchinian, Yohny Perez, Anselmo Moreno, Mtagwa… so it could just be he got caught. It happens to the best of them. Just ask Pac.

126 is hot. Lomachenko will soon dominate the division.

Don’t start mentioning big names as if your gonna beat them. You have to prove yourself again slick. Your chin has been tested, now everyone is going to touch the whiskers with that same shot and early too, lets see what happens.

As Abner was being touted, undeservingly of a lb. for lb. best,he was knocked silly by an old vet.We need to be carefull in pre maturely annointing one a lb. for lb. best,as it is not an easy accomplishment.one should have at least 3 or 4 fights against the very top notch fighters in the division.Right now Abner is looking to re establish his winning ways.

PRETTY BOY

Bo Bo Olson

Too easy to be fat and short armed than fit with arm length made for the weight.
Some folks end up faster with a fork than a jab.
I’m not picking on the guy, it happens all the time.
All this casual, go up in weight…with out thought of height and reach.
One should stay as long as possible in a weight division where one ‘fits’. An inch of reach is a hell of a lot, when both launch at the same time.
