Off subject: I just watched the Fury/Chisora press conference. I’d pay good money to see Don Charles & Peter Fury face off!Posted July 15, 2014 1:49 am
Hi pride, I just don’t see either of them winning, both are chinny.Posted July 14, 2014 11:29 pm
Oh hi Mark! Look at the CW division right now. They could both become a titleholder fairly easy. Outside of Huck and maybe Hernandez this division is dead.Posted July 14, 2014 8:43 pm
Both are c level. move on.Posted July 14, 2014 12:34 pm

Cleverly is a bad KO, waiting to happen.Posted July 14, 2014 6:21 am
I just hope to god Hearn doesn’t try and sell Bellew v Cleverly as ppv!!Posted July 14, 2014 4:51 am

These young British prospects need more fights abroad early into there apprenticeships. Take a look at Mark Heffron’s record.Posted July 14, 2014 4:25 am
Clev or Bellew won’t win a title at CW.Posted July 13, 2014 10:13 pm
Disagree, Eddie Hearn put Barker in with Sturm for his first defense. Brook is traveling to the USA for a belt. He put Bellew in with Stevenson. Hearn is good for British boxing! better than Frank Warren.Posted July 13, 2014 10:12 pm
brza da originator
Bellew is englands paulie mallinaggi . A big mouth who can never back it up . I hope cleverly retires his assPosted July 13, 2014 8:21 pm
all mouth bellew, can’t back it up you will get schooled you foolPosted July 13, 2014 6:13 pm
Clev or bellew arnt any good really as we all know, but what an absolute idiot bellew is,clev will out box him easy AGAIN Tony has told every body who would listen he should have had his arm raised in the first fight,so much so I think he has convinced his self of it, some one who gets hit so easly and often will never be a world champ that’s why he’s faild both times he’s tried. He can call Clev all the names under the son but he will have to include world champ some thing I doubt he’ll ever call his self!Posted July 13, 2014 2:06 pm
scrap the whole division it”s A joke.Posted July 13, 2014 1:21 pm
burst a buble
Would love to see how clev and bel would live with the best cruiseweight around today Denis Lebedev.Posted July 13, 2014 7:34 am
Complete waste of time Cleve and Bellew blowing out these nobodys. If they want fight each other just fight it’s not a massive fight anyway.Posted July 13, 2014 7:19 am

Crystal you show no real insight and just come out with xenophobic rubbish i am afraid. I read boxing news earlier this week who had it about right with their comments. Yes these guys fighting Hearns lads were not the elite but in Cleverley and Bellwe’s case it was marking time fights ready for their clash.
The rest were against lads not expected to win but who would igve some form of test so to keep the boxers busy. In the case of Joshua he fought Skelton who had previously gone the distance in losing to McDermott and if nothing else is a rough old boy who makes others usually look bad or ugly. Now all Joshua etal can do is beat what they see in front of them. Joshua did this with power and a good jab. I cannot understand those who slate a lad who at 24 is in shape, uses his jab well and has power. His footwork is not brilliant but it is not bad for a guy who is 6ft6, he needs to lean to work inside a bit but to be fair his size will dictate the style of fighting he uses.
Finally and this s what really annoys me what was Wilder fighting at the same time in his career? He got to 28-0 having beat who? It is only the last 10 fights or so he has stepped it up. Difference is this and i have said this before , if he was from the States he would be lauded, like all european or British boxers he isn’t and therefore they don’t get it. Time to realise fellas the world does not revolve around you ok.Posted July 13, 2014 5:05 am
Hearn makes all his boxers hype jobs. He puts them in fights with guys who can’t really challenge them before telling the world that each and every one of them is a future world champ. It fools no one. Smith finally had a decent match up last night to get some rounds under his belt. Fielding got a decent name in his record but the others just had another sparring session.
My problem is that he milks all of them. He never takes a real risk, tends to put his fighters in with boxers with no punch power. He manipulates a way to get boxers up to World title level when they haven’t been tested and then boom as we suspect they’re out their depth.
There is talent there but he needs to match them properly and risk losing some along the way if he wants to make more world champs. He just delays the inevitable by waiting until the world title fight for them to lose to a genuine talent. I just hope Kell Brook doesn’t follow that pattern because if it does then its a serious waste of a top class talent.Posted July 13, 2014 4:33 am

Assyrian God: Agreed 100%.
I just hope clevereley knocks out bellew who really needs to shut up and actually produce something. really bad card again from matchroom. I notice eddy is still trying to cash in froch but getting him in with degale – I would sooner see froch retire than defend against degale – it was proved against groves in the first fight froch just can’t get up for a mandatory he has been at the top level too long now – should be Chavez or retirePosted July 13, 2014 2:57 am
Just read all the above comments.
Sport is all about business now ( it has been for a while,so why are people surprised about these match ups)
Agree that the winner of clev v bellew could fight for a title, huck, ledbedev, ofalabi is a big name at cruiser weight.Posted July 12, 2014 8:28 pm
Some out of order comments on here. Why do Americans think boxing starts and finishes in America?Posted July 12, 2014 8:15 pm
Crystal Ball = TARK the racist scum.Posted July 12, 2014 8:05 pm
This is the best matchmaking they can come up with. The little stinky island is a laughing stock. Full of false bravado, padding records until they earn a shot at the ultimate crown and then BOOM, KTFO again. The sad thing is a decent prospect like Joshua will be thrown in the deep end with the sharks after feeding on whitebait for 25 fights. Embarrassing.Posted July 12, 2014 7:53 pm
CLEVERLY wins just as I predicted!!!Posted July 12, 2014 7:50 pm
I haven’t payed attention to the Cweight division since haye smashed macacrinelli!!Posted July 12, 2014 7:39 pm
Eddie Hearn is now the face of British boxing, get used to it.Posted July 12, 2014 7:37 pm
We’ll done Eddie, now you can sell the British public cleverly v bellew. Both failures at LHW. Cleverly has to go down as one of the UKs worst champs with his padded WBO record. Neither one of these guys will win a title.Posted July 12, 2014 7:36 pm
Bellew and cleverly are both A complete Joke.Posted July 12, 2014 7:04 pm
Another Eddie Hearn tomato can production. Keep padding those records Eddie, no one’s watching anyway..Posted July 12, 2014 6:53 pm
