Anderson is british level, groves is euro level/ knocking on the door of world class imo Posted October 24, 2012 9:25 amMick the MarmalizerI was really disappionted when Groves/Anderson II fell though, I’d like to see him win the Lonsdale belt out-right, I’m a bit dubious about the photo of him binning the belt as there’s no tattoo’s on the arm in question. The racist comments from team Anderson also don’t seem to ring true. Hopefully it’s all hype. I’d like to see Groves vs Thomas Oosthuazen some time next year, 2 young undefeated fighters with a lot of spark. A genuine world title fight against Ward is some way off. Posted October 24, 2012 9:09 amDaly jrGroves vs Anderson…………. Well do you remember Tyson Fury vs John Mcdermott 1 ? Mcdermott gave Fury HELL, and in my opinion Mcdermott won. Then in the rematch Fury Blew him away. I think Groves vs Anderson 2 would be a bit like that (obviously groves won the first), Anderson gave Groves nightmares, but Groves has come a LONG LONG way since then. Groves wins by early KO if the fight ever happens. The Groves who Anderson (and Degalle to an extent) fought was a fleshy floppy Groves. The Groves who KOd Paul Smith and Sierra is a big strong hard hitter Posted October 24, 2012 8:57 amMick the MarmalizerAgreed: I’m okay with 17 weight divisons & English, Welsh, NI & Scots + Southern/Northern ETC titles leading to British, European & Commonwealth. But bugger the alphabet trinketts. I remember the WBO had a penta-continental title a few years ago, whatever that was! Posted October 24, 2012 8:55 amDaly jrMick, i hate all the alphabet crap aswel. Idealy there would be 1 world champ in each division. Each country would have a national title, and each continent would have a title. Oh to dream Posted October 24, 2012 8:51 amMick the MarmalizerBarker’s fight Kerry Hope in December. What do you reckon about all the B/S going on between George Groves & Kenny Anderson? Posted October 24, 2012 8:49 amDaly jrAh, seems hes fighting Kerry Hope in december Posted October 24, 2012 8:48 amMick the MarmalizerI reckon it would make a decent eliminator for the British title with Gallahad’s WBC international & Walsh’s English title on the line. While I’m here how’s this for a good alphabet joke. I just took a look at britishboxers current ratings & this is what’s in the welterweight division. Lee Purdy= IBF international champion. Matthew Hatton= IBF inter-continental champ. Kell Brook=WBA intercontinental champ & Frankie Gavin WBO intercontinental champion. Posted October 24, 2012 8:47 amDaly jrWhats going on with Barker? Is he injured again? Posted October 24, 2012 8:46 amNeil (pomy)Agreed with the poster below. It is time for Barker, Murray and Macklin to do the right thing and start facing off against each other …… it could end up being this decades Benn-Eubank-Watson era. 3 world class british middleweights ….. stop p*ssing about and get something sorted. Posted October 24, 2012 8:44 amDaly jrGalahad had a realy good win over Jason Booth. I think he won almost evry round?? Ryan Walsh comp hasnt been as good, and theres alot to learn about him. Galahad wins pretty clearly IMO. The fight probably wont happen though Posted October 24, 2012 8:36 amMick the MarmalizerDaly Jr: Murray, Barker & Macklin should have fought each other by now to decide who’s #1 in the UK @ 160Lb. Back to Liam Walsh, how do you think his brother Ryan would get on against Kid Gallahad? Posted October 24, 2012 8:27 amDaly jrSmile, be happy, spread the love and all that shizzit Posted October 24, 2012 8:18 amDaly jrMarmalade you realy are full of hate arnt you. No wonder the sport and our world in general is such a dark place at times when there are people like you spreading nothing but negative views around. Do you have anything positive to say about anything? Posted October 24, 2012 8:07 amMick the MarmalizerWhile I’ve got my horrible head on, what’s all this malarky about WBO 135Lb champion Ricky Burns taking on Commonwealth champion Liam Walsh(undefeated in 13 fights with 10 KO’s)? My learned colleague Daly Jr informs me that Walsh is the proud holder of something called the WBO European lightweight title. Well woopy doo! There’s guy’s out there critizising David Price for fighting lack luster opponents & then Frank Warren dishe’s this up! Well it’s not good enough!! Posted October 24, 2012 6:32 amMick the MarmalizerArrr the prestigious WBA interim title! So the BBBofC have at last stripped Murray of his British title & not before time. He should have won the Lonsdale belt out-right by now & here he is fighting for this worthless bauble. Correct me if I’m wrong, but Isn’t Golovkin the WBA interim champion, so is this the regular interim title, while GGG has the super interim belt? Along with the WBC, WBO, IBF, WBU, WBF, IBO, IBA ECT The WBA should be charged under the trades discription act!! As I used to say in a previous life “1 World = 1 Champ” or should do!!
