Gentlemen, GGG is a legend in the making. This young man can fight, and hits like a mule. Geale is a good boxer with skills and a strong will to win, but I will be surprised if this fight goes the distance. GGG hits a lot harder than people think. If I were Geale, I would stay away from GGG all night and hold on for dear life because if he decides to let GGG punch on him it will be over. This fight will end with body shots at the hands of GGG. Geale will give it a go, but he won’t last the distance.

DMX

This has all the potential to be as brutal as Rolf Harris in the communal Prison Shower

Just imagine
Psycho as the camera films small trickles of blood mixed with the water slowly draining away

Rolf his little moustache and funny beard soaked
dragging his limp body along the tiled floor, his voice choking as he hums to himself

” I’ve still got room on my horse for two”

@Cheezb that is a great post all the way down to the cotto slaughter. People dont realize Glovokin is a real threat yea Geale may be pretty good but all those traits Glovokin possess and one you forgot to mention (body work) make him better than he seems to an average fan

@PukeNiPacquiao – “Does Geale really have a chance to beat Golovkin?”

Sure he does, though I figure the chances are slim. Against Barker, he was a little too eager to bang which would likely lead him to being taken out early against Golovkin.
If Geale goes back to his usual style, I think he’ll do better. He has really good conditioning so he might be able to land and get out.

That said, Golovkin is a well deserving favourite. He cuts rings well and has deceptively good timing and precision, and these are skills that don’t bode well for Geale’s style.

In my mind this fight is a true test of Golovkin’s position in the division/world. To me, it used to be the Geales, Barkers, Murrays, Macklins, Sturms (etc) on a tier with Martinez slightly above them (i.e. he struggled with those on that tier that he fought)… if Golovkin man-handles Geale as he did Macklin, then there’s no doubt in my mind that Golovkin deserves to be considered (skill-wise, if not resume-wise) as a top-tier elite operator (and then I’d like to see him maneuvering to a Ward fight now that a Martinez bout has lost its appeal… but I have no will to see a Golovkin-Cotto massacre).

The time draws closer when the GGG fan boys will finally come to the realisation that they have been suckered by the most protected Middleweight in history. GGG was given Geale WBA belt as punishment for Sturm ducking his mandatory for 2 years. Now Geale is going to collect what is rightfully his ad after he will unify by beating Soliman and regaining that belt that Geale was ripped off when he beat up Barker and yet lost a decision. Make no mistake the ‘illusion’ of GGG dominace will be exposed and the hype train will stop at the end of the line. GGG = Lemieux, untested, no stamina, and ultimately will lose against hisfirst ‘real’ sized and skilful middleweight. Chooooooooo!!!! Choooooooooo!!!!

Fight Aficionado

Banging card, both are competitive matches with a high probability of carnage and potential KOs. And it’s not PPV. Imagine that.

Pity I’ll be at work so will see only a replay. Yep, those two fights make it an excellent card already. Hard working top dogs putting it all on the line and not afraid of losing their 0s like some vaginas these days. May the best men win and hopefully with no controversy involved!
