CORRECTION….to Sir WIN alotPosted August 13, 2014 10:27 pm
I’ve been blessed with SO many WINS that I may change MY name Sir WIN alotPosted August 13, 2014 7:34 pm
GOOD guess but it looks like another SUCKER was born. I’m SO GREAT that the only way to get MY percentage down is to have someone else make MY picks!!!!! And the SUCKERS think its ME. Nevertheless no matter what any PEA brained posters THINK, I’m taking Porter with the SLAUGHTERHOUSE WIN and I WILL be celebrating yet again!!! I can’t wait!!!Posted August 13, 2014 6:56 pm
boxsterdermus, nobody buys your bs.
you don’t have disciples. you don’t have court jesters. it’s boxster making multi-picks for each fight
you’ve been stung for making so many bad picks this is the latest edition of your mental illnessPosted August 13, 2014 6:41 pm
Malagnaggi has been shooting his silly squeaky mouth off over several yearsPosted August 13, 2014 8:26 am
I think malignaggi was the last guy to call porter a ‘basic’ fighter. It turned into a basic beatdown.Posted August 13, 2014 8:13 am
Fight Aficionado, don’t be fooled by my jester. Everyone can tell who the real me is. If you can’t then may God have mercy on your soul. Brook will win by a wide UD over powerful but limited Porter. Please try to learn how not to let my jester fool you.Posted August 13, 2014 8:08 am
I like the guy
Great to have a really good card brooks vs porter is going to be really interesting one of these guys is going to be a star in boxing. Dirrel can really punch expect fireworks and sakio has been in with the best of the best and always is competitive and will be sure to dish out pain. Can’t wait these could be fights of the year.Posted August 13, 2014 7:39 am
3 months training camp for Brook seems a long time. I think Porter had closer to 2 months. What does this mean? I’m not sure, but if it’s all true and not some smoke and mirrors game, Porter may be fresher with the edge off Brook. The weigh in will be interesting: They both are guys who have come down in weight the last couple of years and I’ll be looking to see who is carrying it best.Posted August 12, 2014 8:58 pm

Now this is why we pay for showtime n one of the main reason s I did nt cancel my subscription in protest of last weeks garbage . Btw brook was able to force this fight because he had worked his way into the mandatory position n he had the powerful matchroom backin him . F U al haymonPosted August 12, 2014 6:49 pm

I was referring to their first fight where he seemed to tire and backpedal and just jab while Bika kept coming.Posted August 12, 2014 6:38 pm
Fight Aficionado being fooled by the SAME trick 20 times in the SAME year is pitiful. ESB should ban PEA brained guys like him and we could all have a Boxing discussion without having to worry about having to explain that two people can use the same name here. Us smart guys already KNOW that. Get guys like FA TFOOH. Porter with the SLAUGHTERHOUSE WIN.Posted August 12, 2014 6:21 pm
Thats true but that is why he got a draw in his last fight. He ran a bit to much later in the fight or took rounds off. He was clearly the better boxer but running a bit and taking rounds off cost him a win.Posted August 12, 2014 5:18 pm
“Bika vs Dirrell expecting dirrell to be on his bike while Bika swings for the fences….” – Are you mistaking Anthony for Andre? Anthony Dirrell isn’t the runner his brother is.Posted August 12, 2014 5:02 pm
BoxAnus predicting Brooks by KO and Porter easy win in the same thread, same crap he pulls every match. ESB needs a new screening device that filters out all the retards, then we’d be able to have normal discussions without the sideshow train wrecks.Posted August 12, 2014 5:01 pm

Brook hasn’t been down that’s true but he has been wobbled times without number versus Jones and even the Ukrainian( I don’t remember his name ) rang his bell. If Brook lets Porter swarm him, he won’t see the final bell. Porter, may not knock Brook down but he’ll most definitely beat him up to force a stoppage when Brook runs out of steam which is highly probably if the fight is ferocious.Posted August 12, 2014 3:21 pm
Brook in training since May.Posted August 12, 2014 3:13 pm
Porter has the chin of a 164 fighter it’s where he came down from, but if anybody can test it brook can. Brook is also a underweight 147 lb fighter and uses rehydrate on fight night to his advantage, so that even the score a bit. But brook has been in training over 8 weeks hope he not stale.Posted August 12, 2014 3:02 pm

Figueroa matchup should be a good one.Bika vs Dirrell expecting dirrell to be on his bike while Bika swings for the fences…. And Brook will kick Porters ass.The jab and straight right will be to much for the suspect chin of Porters.Posted August 12, 2014 2:57 pm
To explained it better, your chest size deside what style you fight. Slugger or boxer .Small chest size are slugger , bigger chest chest throw wilder so are more boxers.
The power comes from the ground flat foot is best . And boxer need to have power or have train to fight on there upper half of there feet to be flexable.
Brook, has a bad habit of dropping his left hand after jabbing to tit level like clock work. He get away because he has a long reach, but in exchange this will be another Martinez/ cotto, hand low is dead open.
If porter runs brooks over he just killed his chance with a fight with floyd. I’ve seen porter training and he super crisp and fast, he now in the Bradley,PAC ,Marquez speed range.
Punch ; I agree with something’s you say but suspect chin? Brook has never been down.Posted August 12, 2014 1:27 pm
im taking brook by tko. catches porter coming in. I reckon the brook jab and the brook upper cut will be the weapons of choice. good fight though and could go either wayPosted August 12, 2014 1:26 pm
Porter wins this one easily. Brook is out of his LEAGUE in this one. Reminds me of people that match their picks against mine. I am in a league all by myself which is why I am the greatest fight PROPHET ever born!!!!Posted August 12, 2014 1:23 pm
Porter by TKO in the later rounds. However, an early KO for Brook won’t surprise me either. Brook isn’t going to discourage porter with his jab alone. Porter is a very awkward fighter who makes a lot of mistakes, if Brook stays calm and throws a lot of sharp punches he could actually catch Porter coming in and end the fight before it gets started. On the other hand, if Porter gets into his rhythm, it will spell doom for Brook who’s got a limited gas tank and a suspect chin. I expect the latter that’s why I’m going with Porter by late TKO.Posted August 12, 2014 1:15 pm
I like Brook a lot and hope he wims this but I just dont fancy his chances. Ive watched most of his fights and watched him evolve as a fighter over the past years. He does a lot well but I just dont think he’s quite got it to be elite. Dont get me wrong he’s a top ten fighter and a worthy opponent for any of the guys in the division. He reminds me of a good solid walk forward European fighter. He’s fast, put good combinations together and punches hard. He’s got a decent defence but its more a cover up style than through good footwork and reflexes. I think he lacks in punch output though and has had stamina issues in the past. Taking this into consideration I think Porter will walk him down and start blasting at Brooks cover up defence. Due to Brooks lack of movement and footwork i think his only chance is that he’s got the power to keep Porter off. Brooks god a solid jab and he’s gonna need to ram it down Porters throat evertime he comes forward in the hope that it slows Porter down. In the end though I think Porter will end up forcing Brook to go to war where it will all be down to who has the most power, best chin and maybe who has the better conditioning. Therefore I fancy Porter to win. i hope I’m underestimating Brooks power and when they start trading shots Brook has edge. Only time will tell. Either way this is gonna be a good fight.Posted August 12, 2014 11:22 am
Brook only struggled with Jones because he hit him with everything and ran out of gas. Similar to when Haye fought Thompson. Amazing how Jones stayed on his feet. But it was stupid really as he was trying to impress the cameras. 2nd time around he just mowed Jones down and showed he was on a much higher level. I think Brook has watched how Porter likes to jump in with his right hooks and will have a game plan for that. I’m guessing Porter has underestimated Brook. Brooks jab is hard and accurate and if not the best in his division. He is also very accurate moving from head to body. I’m looking forward to this fight and I think its gonna be a blast !!!!Posted August 12, 2014 9:13 am
Love this fight its a proper match up, porters got the better resume and stands a better chance of a decision with the home judges but I’ll be putting my money on brook, I’m also hoping the drug testing has been legitPosted August 12, 2014 9:09 am

My money’s on Porter, I have a hard time seeing how Brooks will win this. I’ve watched a couple of his fights and find it hard to see how he struggled with Jones who seems to be one of the best he has fought and Jones is not very good himself. We will see on the 16th when they fight, I think Porter runs away with this fight.Posted August 12, 2014 3:20 am
Brooks is great value
Sometimes I think I don’t spend enough time on boxing politics and the ins and outs of who’s got what belt. Then I read some forums and I realise I’m doing fine not spending much time on that stuff. I just check ring magazine every month to see who’s ranked where.
Prediction: without full confidence I’m picking Porter by some type of decision. Purely based on him having had better competition. But if I could choose a result it’d be for one of these guys to announce themselves with an impressive ko, and then move on to shake up the division. I have neither uk or American allegiance. My only allegiance is to good fights. And poossy! I like poossy.Posted August 12, 2014 2:20 am

” Floyd is the Champ. Porter is a titlest”
Floyd will be the true “champion” when and only when he wins every belt in each division that he fights in and holds them concurrently. Otherwise, he’s just a multi-belt titlest.
Presently Floyd does not hold either the WBO or the IBF welterweight belts. He also does not hold the WBO or the IBF jr. middleweight belts. That means there are two champions in each division (not including the interim champs) that Floyd has not fought and defeated.
No matter what anyone says or believes the only way for any “champion” to become the true one and only champion is to win all the titles in a division and hold the belts concurrently. So far, Floyd hasn’t done that.Posted August 12, 2014 12:46 am

I guess I am merely stating that How can Brook hide behind management. If he wants to be anything in the sport then he would need to win a title. If he decided not to enforce his mandatory then talk of him not being that good would be even greater since he has had some title fights fall throughPosted August 11, 2014 6:26 pm

no need to commend brook for fight for a title. Its EVERY boxers dream to fight for a world title. They only start making demands once they r in a position of power i.e. have a title. When myweather was on the come up he was calling out everyone and he was constantly being ducked. Obviously things changed when he became the star of boxing. Bottom line is boxing is business.Posted August 11, 2014 6:03 pm

OK PEEJ – since you wanna split every C#nt hair, let me re-state.
In todays generation, where most fighters look for the lowest risk, highest reward, and use every excuse in the book so that they don’t have to fight the best of the best… I would like to take this moment to COMMEND Brook for having the testicular fortitude to take the fight and not hide behind his manager.
How often have fighters skirted mandatories????
I also don’t think he went to his manager and said give me Porter. They enforced their mandatory.Posted August 11, 2014 5:26 pm
Brook is the mandatory for Porters belt. I am sure if Brook wins then Khan would take the fight to grab a belt. In actuality it is Porter who is taking the challenge of Brook. This is also a big step up for Brook. But no I don’t think he should be commended. If that is the case you just have to commend all fighters.Posted August 11, 2014 5:25 pm
He should be commended because isn’t Khan refusing to fight Brook? No one is really rushing to the front of the line to take on Porter either… so, yes in today’s, “Let my manager tell me who I am supposed to fight” generation… I think Brook should be commended for taking on such a risky opponent.Posted August 11, 2014 5:23 pm
Why would he need to be commended for taking on such a big fight? Porter is a titlest and if you want a title then you have to fight for it. This is a good fight but not sure why he would need to be commended. Taking Porter by decision.Posted August 11, 2014 5:19 pm
Can’t wait to see how Porter takes care of business. Kell Brook needs to be commended here though for taking such a big fight.Posted August 11, 2014 5:03 pm
Chino would crack both Thurman and Porter.Posted August 11, 2014 4:59 pm
