Deontay is definitely the man to give advice on fighting the best as his resume is littered with great fightersPosted August 17, 2014 7:26 pm
He”s perfect then.Posted August 16, 2014 7:59 pm
“Big Briggs (2x) will make a more exciting fight”
He would make the most inept challenger ever.
So he won’t get a shot… Doesn’t deserve one… Hasn’t beaten anybody ranked… hasn’t even fought anyone ranked… throws 5 puches a round in slow-motion.Posted August 16, 2014 7:16 pm
just like wilder doesnt deserve a title shot!Posted August 16, 2014 5:16 pm
Briggs is SHOT. the simple momentum of clearing a table buckled him in that clip of him harassing Wlad in a lunch-joint. grandstanding Bum desperate for a final unearned payday.Posted August 16, 2014 1:55 pm
Lenin- you’re right, I stand corrected on that point.Posted August 16, 2014 10:38 am

Wilder says that you should earn your shot by beating highly ranked boxers?
Just proves that Americans do understand irony after all.Posted August 16, 2014 6:25 am
I think briggs should fight wilder wilder needs to test that chin outPosted August 16, 2014 4:46 am
Davis Haye never held a title at HW and talked his way to a title fight w Klit. Big Briggs (2x) will make a more exciting fight and Ill bet his toe’s will hold up”
Haye was the WBA heavyweight champion after winning vs. the Russian bear-neanderthal-hybrid.Posted August 16, 2014 4:34 am

Tark.. Spot on, why on earth would Briggs fight Wilder and get KOed in the first for nothing, or ať least not yet. #ruslanrulesPosted August 16, 2014 3:53 am
Briggs would give wilder the needed RDS necessary to develop and gain experience.
Briggs also wouldn’t go down from any phantom punches.Posted August 15, 2014 10:54 pm
Deontay has a far weaker resume than Briggs and far more hype for his KO record. For Wilder to criticize him is hippocracy. These guys make the HW more exciting than it has been in years.Posted August 15, 2014 8:33 pm
Briggs wouldn’t fight Deontay. He’s not worth much more than Gavin and isn’t anxious to get smashed for peanuts.Posted August 15, 2014 8:08 pm
Oh Deontay.. if you just want the big payday fight someone descent or create fake hype like Haye and now Briggs to convince Wlad that there is interest and $ in the fight.Posted August 15, 2014 8:00 pm
Wilder should fight Briggs. Why not? Briggs is not much better than Gavern. bait?Posted August 15, 2014 7:47 pm
CurlyQHoward ” It would be interesting to see if Deontay could k.o. Briggs.”
It would be interesting to see what happens if he cant. Briggs has a good beard and carries his power late. Wilder is no Lewis, Klit or Foreman…Posted August 15, 2014 7:40 pm

@crystal ball, exactly what did he say wrong?Posted August 15, 2014 6:36 pm
Wilder STFU!!! You’re a tomato can fighter because you have a dodgy chin and chicken legs. Wlad would crush you in 2. Another big mouth, black American full of wind and no substance, just looking to cash out on one big pay day. Wilder is living proof of how weak American society has become.Posted August 15, 2014 5:54 pm
Wilder would get nothing from fighting Briggs..
Briggs is a terrible boxer and very slow.. DW can’t learn anything from Briggs and it not big money.. He’s got a great big money fight lined up with Bermane Stiverne for a World Title.
Even if Wilder knocks out Stiverne in one round, Klitschko fight could possibly be next.
It’s not the # of rounds or # of fights you have … You get yourself into position for massive fights or Heavyweight Title challenges and you fight them.
It could take 15 fights like Tim Witherspoon vs Larry Holmes — It could take 90 fights like Red Burman vs Joe Lous.
You don’t turn down a big money fight — generally speaking — unless it’s somebody like GGG and you’re Cotto.Posted August 15, 2014 5:32 pm
Wilder would do well to fight Briggs, actually, who is durable if nothing else. Wilder needs a whole lot more rounds and experience before he even dreams about facing Klitschko.Posted August 15, 2014 3:53 pm
Where would Wladimir be without Deontay’s advice, eh?Posted August 15, 2014 3:52 pm
I also think that Vlad should refuse to give Shannon a fight and should rather ask the police to arrest Shannon for his own safety, but then again… WHO is Wilder fighting?Posted August 15, 2014 2:52 pm
Wilder is right, Briggs should work his way to the number 1 position fighting quality opposition like wilder has done.
Briggs needs to fight his internet bullies aswell to get ranked higher.Posted August 15, 2014 2:42 pm

Wilder would not fight Briggs. He is not ať that level yet ha. #Ruslanrules.Posted August 15, 2014 2:22 pm
