Geale was afraid to defend it against the mandatory 3G, so Geale’s a stupid scared whimp running like a beheaded chicken. Everybody knew he’s supposed to fight 3G next and he didn’t, what a stupid little focker, it was obvious this is bound to happen.Posted November 4, 2012 8:02 pm
Lefthook..u are a CHUMP..Geale is the true middle Champ…He won the belt in the ring..GGG won his belt wearing a tie..Posted November 3, 2012 6:32 pm
Geale is a bum, disappear now. GGG the true middleweight champ, bring on Martinez, Quillin nowPosted November 3, 2012 8:18 am

As I said earlier the best solution would be to allow Geale his voluntary defence against Mundain thus allowing him revenge & a good payday & for Soloman & GGG to fight an official final eliminator to meet the winner. Boxing needs unification if it’s to survive!Posted November 3, 2012 4:57 am
The W.B.A has shown why they are a Mickey Mouse organisation Alphabet soup…BELT..Which organisation can justify having a SuperChamp and then another belt saying Champ..Then the W.B.A Strip the fighter that already holds the I.B.F Title and won the W.B.A belt in Germany against the then Super Champ Fellix sturm..W.B.A is a disgraceful tag along Organisation, that has always been behind the W.B.C and I.B.F in credibility…When Geale wins the W.B.C middleweight belt he will truly be recognized as the Undisputed Middleweight champ of the world..Posted November 3, 2012 3:16 am
Well if you don’t want to fight someone just because he is dangerous lime ggg than why in the hell should we call u a champion?? Champion of what ???
Good commercial decision by the Geale camp, he boxes for $ guys, and living this end of the globe as I do Mudine Geale is a big draw, he won the WBA easily enough and could do it again a couple of million bucks richer.Posted November 2, 2012 10:09 pm
I don’t blame Geale for wanting to fight Mundine — go for the money. Why get into a life-and-death battle with GGG for less money? But at some point Geale, or some other trinket holder, is going to look foolish for avoiding the monster known as GGG.Posted November 2, 2012 8:41 pm
The WBA are the biggest pile of crap org out there today!
I bet Sulaiman and the WBC love the fact this bunch of clowns take the heat off them.Posted November 2, 2012 5:37 pm
Added to this – look at how the WBA have behaved with all their other champions and superchampions. Their ranking list and last mandatories fought is here: http://wbanews.com/artman/uploads/1/2012-september.pdf It is coming up to 18 months since Wlad won the WBA supertitle and he hasn`t fought the mandatory/no 1 and there is no signs of him being stripped. Jones at cruiser has held the WBA belt for years now without fighting a mandatory number 1. SHumenov’s last manatory defence was more than 2 years ago. Geale has actually won an IBF title and unified it with the WBA title in the time since any of the WBA champions in the weights above him have fought a mandatory.
Golovkin has been avoided for a long time – by Mundine ironically, and by Sturm, so I am glad to see him get a belt one way or another, but what stinks a bit here is the way the WBA behaved in ignoring their own rules. ONE – STurm should not have been called a SUPER champion – by the WBA’s own rules that is for fighters who hold 2 belts http://wbanews.com/artman/publish/campionshipSuperChampions/index.shtml so TWO Geale was their first superchampion in a long time by unifying two belts and by the WBA’s same rules he should get 18 months to defend vs his mandatory.Posted November 2, 2012 4:13 pm
Nobody actually expected Geale to pass on a fight he’ll likely win for 2 million bucks so he can make 500K vs Golovkin and get brutally KOd and made to look a glass jawed joke. Yeah, he’ll take the better money and live to fight another day.Posted November 2, 2012 3:24 pm

Well here we go again! As soon as there’s a slight hope of unification, boxing politics rears it’s ugly head. The solution should have been for Geale to have his voluntary against Mundain & for GGG & Soliman to fight a final eliminator to face the winner. The WBA are as currupt as the WBC(GBP) & WBO(Warren) when it comes down to greasy palms. How the bloody hell are we ever gonna find out who’s 100% #1 in any division at this rate?. Well what happens with the WBA title @ 160Lb now then? Well I’ll tell you GGG becomes undisputed super champion, while Darren Barker, Martin Murray, J.C.Chavez, Matthew Macklin, Sergio Rabchencho ETC get to dream of being the next undisputed Ordanary/Regular or Interim title holder! Oh how silly of me! I forgot all about the Intercontinetal & International trinketts!!………………Posted November 2, 2012 1:52 pm
Mundine fight is a gimme payday in a guaranteed win. GGG fight is probably a loss. So he got stripped for ducking. In this case the WBA did the right thing.Posted November 2, 2012 1:49 pm
“as I will be coming to reclaim what is rightfully mine”
Really Daniel? If the title was so important to you then why didn’t you just fight Gennady and prove that it truely was yours? You’ll be coming for what is rightfully yours Daniel? When after Gennady moves up in weight, retires, or gets stripped himself? You’ll never fight Gennady, you’ll always have an excuses. Just come out and say it already that GGG is to dangerous and you’re worried about getting KO’d. I’d still laugh at you but at least I could respect you for being honest. Anthony Mundine….really? Beating Gennady would do far, FAR more for your reputation and ability to make money that beating Mundine ever will. LOLPosted November 2, 2012 1:14 pm
At least we know Daniel ducks and dodges better than he does anything else. It wasn’t long ago his promoter said they would not be vacating and would defend. Ah whoops! GGG is going to have a hard time getting big fights.Posted November 2, 2012 12:51 pm
“Then Geale will probably go looking for some more big fights, probably Martinez, Golovkin etc.”
I doubt … he will give a rematch either to Mudine or to Sturm to get the score stetted again once and for all.Posted November 2, 2012 12:24 pm
The Best thing that will happen will be when Geale goes to fight Golovkin finally for that belt and the ref has to stop the fight some where in the fifth round !
ok I am out later gents and ladies.Posted November 2, 2012 12:06 pm
Hidalgo I am just stating how moronic all this is with this belt and these fighters promoters ducking there mandatory fighter.
Geale is angry sure but he is listening to his promoter and not fighting GGG
The belt in question was created so fighters could duck fighters.Posted November 2, 2012 11:55 am
Just like Sturm, Geale is SCARED of Golovkin. He knows GGG would punch holes in his head if he decided to fight.Posted November 2, 2012 10:54 am
Ok, Koolz, your post is a bit hard to understand. Who is angry? Sturm or Geale. If you’re saying Geale is angry, there’s sure nothing to show that in this artice. If it’s Sturm, that was then and this is now.Posted November 2, 2012 9:22 am
Sturm is a fake and a ducker

I find all this pretty damn funny! Sturm ducking Golovkin for two years. After he knocked out Lajuan Simon they wanted nothing to do with him. No Mandatory fight.
Geale is all class, takes everything in his stride. WBA acted poor in there decision….GGG is no super champ in my eyes. Geale Sergio even Mundine have all been in with better comp. Id like 2 c Golovkin take on some guys that dont stand infront of him, guys that move, think and box well like the 3 iv just mentioned. I dont think Kid Chocolate is outa place taking on GGG also. Il call him the super champ when he beats these guys so far he has beat punching bags in cement bootsPosted November 2, 2012 5:44 am
he had the choice to defend it and he chose not to,its Geale who didn’t want the GGG fight, I don’t blame him though he is an animal and would have KO Geale badly.Posted November 2, 2012 5:09 am
if you were that bothered you wouldn’t have woosed out and fought GGG to retain it.Posted November 2, 2012 5:07 am
For how long Sturm didn’t defend against Golovkin without being stripped of his WBA “super champion” belt? Now Geale just won it and has been immediately stripped of it for not defending at once against Golovkin. It smells a lot. Anyway, now that there is no WBA “super champion” any more, there is at least one “champion” belt less in the world. But I suppose WBA will in the very next step call Golovkin “super champion” and find two other useful pawns to fight for the “regular” WBA belt, thus creating two “champions” again to milk – two cows give more milk then just one…Posted November 2, 2012 5:03 am
Very well received by Daniel Geale, he knows he is the TRUE WBA champion and Golovkin (as credible as he is) will just be an “Interim Champion” until he beats Geale. It fight between Geale & Golovkin might happen in 12 months time as providing Geale beats Mundine (as I expect him to), he will need to make a mandatory defense against Sam Soliman. Then Geale will probably go looking for some more big fights, probably Martinez, Golovkin etc.Posted November 2, 2012 3:55 am
Sturm is independent but he use to be with Universum.Posted November 2, 2012 3:54 am
Is Sturm promoted by Sauerlands? If so, it’s no wonder he got away with avoiding GGG for so long. I feel bad for Geale, WBA treated him poorly.Posted November 2, 2012 3:47 am
That’s politics for you. Sturm knew all the right people to grease at the WBA.Posted November 2, 2012 3:23 am
