MK… Seriously lol, hype our fighters?? Hatton 2 weight world champion, Haye 2 weight world champion n dont count Khan out just yet from doing just that in becoming a 2 weight king. As for Froch v Bute it wont matter where it happens, if you knew the game you’d know that was a carere ending beating that Froch gave Bute. Bute does’nt belong in that elite level of world boxing and will pay the same price each and every time he moves into it.

Will Bute have his fans in the ring taking the punches for him then? Thats the only way the rematch will be any different. Bute looked like a pussay getting fckd by Froch. Il let you hang onto Froch looked bad against Kessler and Ward. Because Bute was made to look amatuer by Froch

MK

Kessler beat Froch with eye problems, he stalked Carl all night long and won easily. Froch looked terrible against both Kessler and Ward. British fans should stay away from hyping their boxers -in the light of Khan and Hatton and a heavyweight with a bad foot. No I like Carl, but the fight wont be the same in Canada.

Oh and credit is due for fighting Froch, and even more so for agreeing to a rematch. But i cant give him credit for losing. Know what im sayin??

wish this fight was on tv in the USA – didn’t realize it was a catchweight affair.

Daly jr you`re a serious poster but you can make me laughing too:Stieglitz refused THREE TIMES BUTE, including before taking the belt.He was KO`ed by Andrade for good.Enf of story.Bute is still Top 5 , more exactly No. 4, and that in all major rankinks:Dan Rafael, Eastside and The Ring (considering the last put Kessler in the category above).A catastrophic defeat indeed will be corrected in hours from now on and in months for good.Do you remember Pau Wiliams .HE was ranked no. 3 P4P and got out on the backdoor of high level boxing. But even big champion avoided a rematch aftera hard defeat in less than two years Bute doesn`t.And even you respect this.I think iaffirming Bute isn`t first tier is a little early.

Bute can’t take Froch’s punches and Froch took Bute’s hardest left and all he did was shake it off, make an angry face and attacked. The only way Bute wins the rematch is if he doesn’t get hit at all. But froch is relentless he’ll keep coming forward and attacking, he’ll outwork Bute all night long and eventually Froch will catch him. Bute hasn’t beaten anobody, I’m french canadian from Montreal and I’ve been telling people around here that for years. While Bute was fighting guys like Mendy, Brinkley and Miranda Froch was fighting guys like Ward, Abraham, Dirrell and Kessler. It was pretty obvious who was gonna win the fight. And I though rematches were for fights that were competitive not complete blowouts. And to the other french canadians on here or for all canadians for that matter, Bute isn’t canadian he’s romanian so stop being so bias.

Ozzy, than why Froch didn`t want to go in Canada excepting a first fight on his soil? Bute had had at the time of the fight clearer wins to the common opponents:Magee and Johnson. So, British fans, enjoy it as it lasts cause your sportsman IS OWING A DEPARTURE.

Butes record reads about as well as that of Thomas Oosthuizen. And stylisticly theyre on about the same level. If George Groves beats Glen Johnson then i would put him on the same level as Bute too. Theres alot of padding on Butes level. Id put Steiglitz, Abraham, Pavlik, on or above Butes level. With Ward, Froch, Kessler, Dirrell above him. Although Dirrell has been somewhat inactive, and you could pretty much put Ward in a league of his own

Yeh, Bute was Frochs easyest win since Albert Rybaki back in 2008 lol.

“Carl does not travel well” – he’s done a lot better than Bute. He won Jermain Taylor, Glen Johnson, & Arthur Abraham away from home and was the victim of a hometown decision when he fought Kessler. The only time he’s fought badly abroad was against Ward. Are you Canadian by any chance???

Posted November 3, 2012 10:28 am

Daly jr

MK, yes Bute done well in canada against lower world level fighters. Andrade isnt on the level of any super 6 fighter. I have respect for any man who steps in the ring, asspecialy one who wants to avenge a loss. But the way Bute was beaten very conclusive. If Bute wins (fairly) the rematch then il hold my hands up and welcome him to the top tier of boxing. But Bute vs Froch 1 was Frochs easyest win in years!

When Bute fought Froch he was all over the place every time that Froch connected to his jaw. I can’t understand how Bute and his team think this won’t happen again in the rematch. If Bute does react differently when Froch connects then something dodgy is going on. Gratchev must have taken a lot of confidence from watching the Froch – Bute fight. Bute may get more than he bargained for – again!

I recognize Carls win over Bute, but Bute did well, until he went to the ropes. Carl does not travel well either, I am just saying that we could be in for a surprise in Canada. Froch has many qualities, and am a stand up guy, but if Bute does what he always does in Canada, a thir fight might be needed. The fight is truly exciting. Remember Butes reaction, in the second Andrade fight, he put the tough guy down easily, a man Kessler had to go all 12 rounds with, in a classic fight.

MK are you from montreal?

Posted November 3, 2012 10:11 am

Bute aint Kessler!!! Froch has never VISIBLY been hurt by a body shot. Happy? Bute was a gentleman yes, he had to be. He was humiliated. As i said, well done to him for taking the rematch. But the fact remains that he was hurt every time froch landed. Am i missing something? i watched the fight from about 15 foot away, and i have since watched it a few times on tv. And i have news for the diluded……………. Bute was FORCED onto the ropes!!! He never chose to go on the ropes

Posted November 3, 2012 9:56 am

MK

Bute has some fantastic body shots in his arsenal, Froch was hurt by Kessler, with body shots, he said so himself, between rounds. Yes Bute had problems before Andrade 1. As long as Bute doesn’t go to the ropes, he can outpoint Froch, combined with powerful body punches, Now give Bute a fair chance, he was a gentleman after the first Froch fight. Bute will easily beat Grachev, watch and learn.

Also Bute was defencively poor. Every time he got hit he held onto froch like a long lost lover

Posted November 3, 2012 9:40 am

bute beat johnson more clearly because he played safe and kept him at distance. Froch traded with him. STYLES MAKE FIGHTS!!! Bute hadnt been in with anyone on the top level, and didnt know how to deal with froch. And no i didnt find it strange atall. Myself and others predicted a Froch KO as soon as the fight was made. You know why??? Because Bute was inexperienced and unproven at world level

Daly jr. again.Didn`t appear to you wierd that was as you say, anihilation?Something happened, though.Even you recognize Bute beat Johnson clearer, so? Johnson was a much oder fighter after 5 months suddenly?

Posted November 3, 2012 9:21 am

Daly jr. no one said “he will wipe the floor with Froch”, but yes, after the fight of this Saturday some people, still few yes, will say he has a chance with the British. In the first Andrade fight, Bute had a food poisoning problem, next fight was totally different. A week before the Notingham fight Bute took antibiotics wich some said before the fight that weaken the body resistance. So the people we`ll be surrprised again.Remember the moments before second Andrade fight…

Posted November 3, 2012 9:07 am

Daly jr

The 1 good win on Butes resume is against Glen Johnson, who by that point was a top journeyman, nothing else. He beat him by keeping him at distance all night. Froch made life hard for himself by taking Johnson to war. Froch DOMINATED almost every second of every round vs Bute. It was no slim win. It was anihilation!!! Bute cant hang with the big boys. Abraham is Butes best chance at another belt.

Anyone who thinks Bute is world class is on the crack pipe, he never fight outside Canada and always against 2nd rate fighters. Wouldn’t surprise me if he lost to tonight either

Posted November 3, 2012 8:41 am

Daly jr

MK AND ALIVIUI………… your basicly saying Bute is going to wipe the floor with Froch in canada. Did you not see the first fight?? Bute couldnt handle frochs power. Evry time Froch landed Bute was holding on for his life. The rematch may last a little longer, but you cant put muscles on your chin, just ask Amir Khan!!! And the comment about Bute will hurt Froch to the body is ridiculous…….. Froch has never been hurt by a body shot, and Bute aint gonna be the first to do it

Posted November 3, 2012 6:16 am

MK

Aliviu is right there. Bute was rated highly, now disrespected by Froch fans -look at how hyped Froch is now, when he loses via Butes body punches, we are right back to square one. Style wise I see to potential super fights in the smw division. Froch vs Kessler and Bute vs Ward. Froch are going to face hell in Canada, just wait and see. I like Kessler, Froch and Bute anyways.

Bute was viewed as favourit against Froch by the most commentators.
Is a rumour Goosen pushed SHO to not permit Bute to enter in S6 not even as a replacement.Ward refused to fight Bute after he saw how was Jonhson beaten.Kessler and Froch refused to fight in Canada, the last not until having a fight on his soil.Bute is still Top 5.Will beat Gratchev and Froch on points.See you then.

Bute is always fighting some bum. The French Canadians think he is the next coming. He is garbage and I have always said that. Props to pascal for at least trying to fight the best guys out there. Adonis Stevenson looks like he has a bright future, but it`s still early. Where`s Bermann, is he still with Don KIng?

“He always has an excuse for his losses” Allan Green took a dive in his fight with Glen Johnson. Watch the replay of the stoppage. Green wasn’t even hurt.

Seriously,

where’s the french-canadian boxing fans? all those talks for years is now into the trash can? … “Bute will destroy Froch easily” … “Ward is a coward, he ducking Bute” …. “Bute is the best SM” … “Bute is the P4P #1″ … “Super 6 guys will be destroyed by Bute”, “Pavlik is a coward”, “Kessler is a coward”, “Bute would destroy Calzaghe”, “Bute will destroy Hopkins”, etc etc etc etc,, no direspect for Bute, great boxer and gentleman but those french canadians fans are the worst in earth!

all fighters make excuse when they lose but not like allen green tho he the worse one

Allan Green is on the undercard of this fight and of course he is blaming his losses on his weight issues again. So tired of that. He always has an excuse for his losses. He can’t take a loss like a real sportsman. Terible
