And YES Demarco would be wise to Fight as dirty as possible. Fair and square he has no chance.Posted November 15, 2012 7:48 pm
Broner will WIN as I predicted on the DAY that the Fight was first announced. Broner will look BETTER than EVER as he SHOULD. He’s still young and on the INCLINE.Posted November 15, 2012 7:47 pm
Lara a more proven & talented fighter as well struggled vs another talent Vanes. These idiots expect spoon fed fake paper champ skool a real one easily??Wtf? These fools take nut hugging to a whole new level.Either man can win but lets not act like it’ll be easy for either cause it won’t.Last time I checked both are human have 2 legs/feet & 2 chins one a unproven one(broner). It doesn’t get any easier when you fight a legit champ for a title then defend it some of these fools thinking though.Posted November 15, 2012 7:07 pm
I do agree DeMarco will have to pressure Broner to win. Problem is despite that KO win he scored in Oakland a few months ago he’s not a huge puncher. He also wilts when faced with pressure back. If Broner turns the tables and brings the heat I’ll bet he scores the KO win.Posted November 15, 2012 6:57 pm
Srminimo, MMA is being promoted in the US with a brand like UFC that doesn’t really focus greatly on the indivisual athletes. They don’t make half of the live gates of big boxing events but still get more recognition from the mainstream media.
Whether you realize this or not it’s a real problem. Promoters have been putting together great fights for the past several years. That’s not the problem.
The mainstream media and younger demographic view boxing as an antiquated sport that breeds ignorance and racism. That’s why boxing gets very little recognition in America. It has nothing to do with not having the Heavyweight Champion or anything like that.Posted November 15, 2012 8:12 am
Broner will DESTROY DeMarco in all phases of boxing. You better study your boxing if you think otherwise. Broner is one of those boxers that come along once in a great while. I can’t stand his ego and over confident personality, but he has all the tools he needs to be a great one. DeMarco doesn’t have anything special. He’s seasoned, and always comes to fight, but he does not possess Great power, speed or defense. He gets hit, and don’t be fooled by his last fight in which he knocked out John John Molina, a guy that FROZE and was never tested before that fight. Broner has a great straight right hand that is going to crack deMarco every time he throws it. The uppercuts will land all night, and he will not be able to touch Broner all night. This kid has superb defense. he has power, and will be more powerful at this higher weight class. He knows how to fight, and is very athletic. Mark my word, DeMarco will be one of the easiest fights Broner’s ever had. The fight will end with a stoppage in between rounds 8-11. The corner or referee will stop the fight. Broner is something special.Posted November 15, 2012 1:06 am
JH- this is probably a conversation that could last for days. I’m sure that if the US men’s team were a contender the sport would be a lot bigger, sort of like cycling was bigger in the US when Armstrong was winning all the Tours de France. Boxing is definitely a nationalistic sport and I definitely agree that the fact that the US at the moment lacks dominating figures, especially in the HWs tunes out Americans, who are only interested in winning. But that can’t be ALL that’s wrong with boxing. MMA interest has increased greatly over the last ten years and the sports best is a brazilian, plus most of the time some hillbilly or other is getting his ears re arranged.Posted November 14, 2012 10:29 pm
This fight has good potential, Demarco is next level tough but Broner is next level talented… We saw Demarco catchup with Linares and bust him up something awful.. I’m betting that Broner might have to take some shots but he will find a way to to beat Demarco up and get a decisive win… He’s too fastPosted November 14, 2012 10:14 pm

That’s right, Srminimo…I’m referring to boxing in America, not countries in which the sport is doing well.
Ask yourself, how big is football in America? It’s less popular than boxing.Posted November 14, 2012 7:55 pm
Joseph Herron- Football (the real one) is also driven by nationality and race and it’s the number one sport on the world. I think it’s more of a lack of fights on regular tv, as it used to be, that has damaged the sport. Put NFL Football games mostly on PPV and premium channels and in a generation it will be one third of what it used to be.Posted November 14, 2012 7:25 pm
Another problem with media coverage and boxing is that in order to maximize profit boxing has walked a very thin line between sports and entertainment. Imo thats y mma is beginning to get covered by espn and non cable networks 1 belt per division champs fighting manditories etc. I love both i love the art of fighting period and hope 1 day boxing returns to its roots.Posted November 14, 2012 7:08 pm
Mares is going to get ruined by Donaire, but Demarco took Valero’s best shots for 9 rounds. I can see him making it difficult for Broner and maybe squeezing out the victory. Longshot, but Demarco has been to hell and backPosted November 14, 2012 6:02 pm
What’s amazing about Broner is that he is nothing like his TV persona when speak to him privately.
He’s a very mature young man who is always respectful. He’s a good kid, and that’s why he’s as accomplished as he is at the tender age of only 23.
Sky is the limit for Adrien Broner.Posted November 14, 2012 5:32 pm

broner beat de leon so all you mitt romney people keep your hope alive broner 24-0 baby undefeated un beaten put that under your kkk hoodsPosted November 14, 2012 5:11 pm
DT, I wish that were true…college softball gets more coverage on ESPN than boxing does. Emanuel shared his vision with me before he died and really wanted to revolutionize the sport by developing the Kronk Gym brand and start shifting focus from the racial and national divisions in boxing.
That’s one of the reasons why he always liked to have his fighters wear the same “uniform” trunks with the Kronk colors.
Unfortunately, Emanuel left a lot of plans unsettled that were going to really help the sport.Posted November 14, 2012 5:09 pm
Don’t watch the Ponce vs. Broner fight on youtube. Just email me. I’ll burn as many copies as it takes. Broner lost that one. Just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org. Put PONCE in the subject line.Posted November 14, 2012 4:59 pm
No. All DeMarco has to do is watch the Ponce De Leon fight versus Broner 3 times. The blueprint is there. Ponce knows Broner lost, the fans know Broner lost. Most important. Broner knows Broner lost.Posted November 14, 2012 4:54 pm

This is the first world title holder Broner is facing. Broner is overrated & can be(& has been) beaten(though not offically). Demarco is supposed to lose this fight. We will see if DeMarco conceeds & DeMarco better not be looking to the judges to give him a fair shake. IF Broner lives up to some of his hype & stops DeMarco in impressive style then credit is due.Posted November 14, 2012 4:05 pm

And people wonder why the mainstream media doesn’t want to get behind boxing…it’s because so many fans are driven by race and nationality. Boxing doesn’t have the benefit of rooting for the Yankees or Steelers, and they naturally gravitate towards race and nationality.
It has nothing to do with the brutality of the sport, but its cancerous mentality of promoting racial division.
And the tool that just brought race into this forum just proved my point.Posted November 14, 2012 2:25 pm
are you white boys nuts broner 5th rd ko talkin about still sore about the obama big land slide oh boyPosted November 14, 2012 2:06 pm
I hope Demarco uses Mares’ 2 best shots all night long IE THE HOOKS TO THE BALLS! Broner wins this IMO, but i will be routing for DemarcoPosted November 14, 2012 9:59 am
Broner is a total self hype job, no where near the skill of Money Mayweather and never will have, De Marco is gonna bust him up in the late rounds.Posted November 14, 2012 5:20 am
Broner possesses an undeniable talent and skills advantage but he’s barely tested and was handed generous scores for his win v. Ponce. ultimately what Broner needs to be aware of is what DeMarco demonstrated v. Linares: Don’t Count Me Out. Always Count Me In. until the final bell. i don’t think that Broner can seriously hurt DeMarco but am certain that the opposite is true for DeMarco. can Broner prevail over these circumstances for 12 entire rounds? that’s the answer DeMarco will be relentlessly seeking this Saturday. moreover, DeMarco knows that he can not rely on AC judges for a “W”. it will have to be pounded out the old-fashioned way. he Knows this. can Broner hang? we’ll soon find out.Posted November 14, 2012 12:34 am
yeah it going to be a fun fight to watch going to be back and forth type of fight i favor viliora to win by marquez is a live dog thoPosted November 13, 2012 11:19 pm
The article on Viloria and Marquez is coming out on Friday, publicizing the fight. It’s going to be a great one!!Posted November 13, 2012 9:52 pm
you should do a article about the fight between brian viliora and tyson marquez that a chance that fight can be fight of the yearPosted November 13, 2012 9:44 pm
DeMarco is very brave, he’s long, and he’s not going down without a fight, but he’s had too much trouble in his career against speed. Even in his victory against Linares he was getting tagged left and right. To me this is brilliant matchmaking on Broner’s camp: a solid guy who no one will complain about whose aquille’s heel just happens to be something Broner has in spades. I say Broner by KO.Posted November 13, 2012 9:35 pm
that true demarco is the biggest and stronger fighter broner ever face now as far as who stronger out of the two i see that being broner i can be wrong but that just what i think i dnt see broner blowing demarco out even edwin valero didn do that demarco is tough with alot of heart and he confident so this fight can go the distance which i dnt think it will tho i just see demarco having problems with broner speed and his style all around and his power demarco can hit but he going to have to land on broner demarco technique is pretty solid but it easy to land shots on a stationary john molina with no defensePosted November 13, 2012 9:28 pm
Thanks, REM…I agree with 100% of everything you just posted…including the part about Pacquiao!!Posted November 13, 2012 9:02 pm
I don’t see how people are rating Broner so highly purely based on his record. He may be fantastic I’m just sayin he hasn’t really showed it yet by soundly beating a highly rated fighter. I’m sure Team DeMarco will realize that Antonio will have to make things really uncomfortable for Broner. It remains to be seen whether DeMarco is capable of applying a “Mares strategy” with the intensity that is required to make Broner have problems. I’m not really bothered who wins I just want a good fight, I’m so pleased the fight is being shown in the UK – I have the caffine tablets and red bull supplies in already :-)Posted November 13, 2012 8:37 pm
Joseph thank u for explaining how the orthodox phillyshell matches up against a southpaw ive tried to maybe folks will accept it from u. I dont know much about DeMarco but its odvious he’s a tougher matchup for Broner than Ponce was. Guys like Broner and Floyd are immensely gifted so it will take a immensely gifted southpaw to beat one of them. Dont know if DeMarco is that gifted but Broner is certainly in for a tough fight. Btw Pac is that gifted lol.Posted November 13, 2012 8:31 pm
Demarco wins easily but then gets robbed. Sam Watson and the boys will fellate Broner in the locker room after the fight.Posted November 13, 2012 7:51 pm
If you’re talking about relative size between Moreno and Broner, then you have to look at the relative size between DeMarco and Mares. Antonio is ultimately bigger and stronger than any opponent Broner has ever faced.
Now the purpose of his article is not to try and tell everyone that DeMarco is going to win this fight, because I personally think that Broner’s power will be too much for DeMarco.
Basically the purpose for this article is to create more intrigue for the match-up…I think this fight will be much more competitive than most recognize.Posted November 13, 2012 7:27 pm
and broner is more stronger then moreno and of course bigger but it wouldn hurt if demarco try it tho i dnt think it work but demarco cant let broner control the peace and fight or he cant let broner back him up he got to stand his ground if demarco use his jab broner can be hit with jabs but i just think broner is to talented and gifted for demarco to overcome we seePosted November 13, 2012 7:16 pm
The book against a slick fighter is usually to overwhelm him. like Basilio with Robinson or Mares with Moreno. But Broner is more gifted than Moreno, hits harder, and DeMarco is not as sturdy or as quick as Mares. So the slickster gets away this time.Posted November 13, 2012 6:43 pm
