Emanuel was what every trainer should attempt to be.He understood the ups and downs of the boxer and the game as well.He was a teacher who loved and lived the sport to its fullest. He genuenly loved teaching and understood the kind of life a boxer, coach or trainer needed and how they must conduct themselves in order to be successful.”The love of the sport” was in his blood and its buracracy sometimes hard to understand.Having known Manny for 34 years as a boxing teacher and trainer was a wonderful experience….God bless….kenny weldon

Yeah…unfortunately, even if K9 does apologize for the way he treated him, Emanuel isnt around to forgive him, although it would be a good gesture and I’m sure that Emanuels family and friends woul;d appreciate it. I have no doubt that Emanuel would forgive him though if he did sincerely feel bad about the whole thing, he was not a angry person and he had a huge heart. He really was and still is everything that is good about boxing.

I know what you mean, but I cant think of a time when someone I knew died that I didnt wish I had had a few extra moments with them or maybe handled things differently when they were alive. Maybe K9 should acknowledge that he wishes he did things differently before speaking about his death, but then again when talking about someone in past tense you try not to bring up anything negative around them. If K9 talked about their falling out, he would be criticized also. And in no way am I making excuses for K9, I know he didnt treat Manny right. Boxing is a tough business and a lot of fighters do become bitter at K9s age when they rarely get a break

Disgrace, K9 may have not been close to Emanuel at all after parting ways. Emanuel probably didnt really like him even. But to question K9s appreciation for Manny isnt really your place. Im sure he has some regrets, as we all do.
