Broner is gonna have fits with a fighter that has decent footwork, can box with both hands and takes the fight to him.
Broner loves the center of ring, he proved Saturday he can take a shot, is comfortable trading, great inside game and a very tight defense.
But DeMarco offered nothing more than a pissing contest which he lost.
Burns has the tools to beat Broner, but he’s never gonna getting a decision in the States and of course, Broner ain’t going nowhere now that he has a belt.
GBP and Warren win, not the fans!Posted November 20, 2012 10:42 pm
Me RIcky Burns is not ducking Broner, honest,i would love to fight Broner but i can`t make 135 anymore.I`m moving to lighheavy cause i know Broner would never go their oh i mean i`m moving to lightheavywieght cause ah ah its its a weight i`m comfortable at.Posted November 20, 2012 7:23 pm
Roots, who has Burns fought from Ghana? Moses is from namibia!! lol who you on about? Ricky has been in with 6 world/former world champions!!!! Pus Katsidis…..you know that right? guess not!!! Actualy LOOK through there records and you will see Burns has been in with the higher calibre of oponents, and ALL Burns wins are deserved too! You realise he fought a world champion after like 12 fights? lol. He aint avoiding anyone. He moved up in weight because he was hurting himself to make the weight. He has been calling out Broner incase you havnt noticed!Posted November 20, 2012 11:05 am
Burns would be Broner`s easiest fight, but it will never happen, he burns ran from Broner and went up to lightweight, when Broner was his mandatory, he will do the same this time around, he knows what will happen, he burns have been fighting bums, mostly from Ghana, he will milk his version of the title continuing in the same vein.Posted November 20, 2012 10:29 am
Burns vs Broner will be a repeat of Calzaghe vs Lacy. A prime example of an over-hyped fighter. Ricky has worked his way up from the bottom, beaten on world champions and former world champions, aswell as top contenders. Broner got a gift against a gatekeeper in Ponce de Leon, and he beat Demarco which he deserves props for. Burns is better established, more experienced at all levels, and hes alot smarter than Demarco who dun himself by staying inside even though he was getting busted up.Posted November 20, 2012 7:17 am
To re-iterate part of one of my deleted comments………. why should the fight be in America? Its called being a WORLD champion, not an AMERICAN champion. Burns has been champion longer, and he has beaten more champions than Broner has. From what ive read, they were giving tickets away for Broner vs Demarco on the day of the fight. Rickys fights are selling out 10000 seater arenas in less than a day.Posted November 20, 2012 6:15 am
I hoper they do fight, Broner will get the shock of his OVER-HYPED career when Burns beats his ass and shuts all you Problem loving Fan*ys right up.Posted November 20, 2012 5:11 am
I agree this writer is a biassed FOOL get him to F*%K.Posted November 20, 2012 5:07 am
Bronner too Gosford burstPosted November 20, 2012 4:02 am
Hey, that’s my Bike!!!
Burns went up a division to fight the teak tough Katsidis. Burns fought well and won. Broner went up a division and ducked, made excuses not to fight Katsidis. I know who the better, braver ‘MAN’ is in this duel before it begins.Posted November 20, 2012 2:02 am
Burns is a real fight and I don’t see either guy getting the KO here. It will happen and people will be shocked that brush boy struggled with Ricky win or lose.Posted November 19, 2012 8:31 pm
Way to big for Brner and getting stronger yet only has 10 KOs in 30 fights. Ill take Broner all day over Burns by late KO.Posted November 19, 2012 7:59 pm
That’s my feeling, Burns is waay to big for Broner and is getting stronger at this weight and will for sure move up a weight as well. Burns was to weight drained at super feather weight and had to move up for health reasons.Posted November 19, 2012 7:19 pm
im watching broner demarco now. it would be the easiest fight for a long time for burns. broner has no power abnd head movement short arms slow. burns will jab uppercut and move all night long. demarco was paid to lose no doubt he was awful putting his head in range….payday payday…broner the yank fraudPosted November 19, 2012 6:15 pm
Burns will wipe the floor with Broner easily. looking at styles, advantages, weight…everything! burns wins all day long. burns will beat broner like Calzaghe beat the hype job jeff lacy!!!Posted November 19, 2012 6:05 pm
Burns will not handkle Broner. Broner wins the fight on a late round stoppage. Burns may look good at the beginning as did Hatton against Floyd but Floyd dominated just like Broner willPosted November 19, 2012 5:12 pm
Tough call this one but the smart money is on a Burns win, don’t listen to very clearly biased US writers, the smart peops around here know exactly how Burns will win.Posted November 19, 2012 3:47 pm
you don’t know what you’re on about. broner is class, won’t deny it, but burns is amazing and will figure out broner as he did martinez, katsidis and mosesPosted November 19, 2012 3:01 pm
Broner confirmed that he was the BEST Prospect in the Game just as I predicted!!!! I am the GREATEST Fight Prophet ever born!!!! Congrats to the CHAMP!Posted November 19, 2012 2:44 pm
Whether he’s too powerful or not isn’t the main factor. Him being more SKILLED than Burns is the factor.Posted November 19, 2012 2:43 pm
broner wouldnt beat burns,he would be on the end of his jab all night long,Broner is already making excuses by saying he would only fight ricky in america,Burns is the more established champ and should call the shots.Broner when i saw him interviewed ,surprised me with how nice a person he seems. All the expectancy on him in the states is ridiculous its making people like me want to see him lose.I also think his power is overrated he doesnt hit as hard as katsidis or many other fighters at these weights.Posted November 19, 2012 1:59 pm
Quite impressive managing to write that amount of clearly bias material with Broners balls bouncing off his chin.
Guys the writer is bang on, whats the “problem”, Broner IS the next big thing in boxing, its pretty clear to see. Please please British folk why on Gods earth would a super star like Broner even consider leaving the states to fight someone nobody outside of britain has even heard of. REALLY….
Throwback, dont respect him, he clearly doesnt respect the guys he writes aboutPosted November 19, 2012 12:02 pm
