The Best!- best win on DeMarco’s resume was his win against Jorge Linares..Linares was outboxing him fairly easy much like Broner was minus the strength and power until Linares could no longer hold up for whatever reason..truth is DeMarco is a young gamed fighter but he’s always been somewhat limited and could’ve lost on any given night against any of the other top guys at lightweight IMO..

I never doubted Broner’s physical attributes to be a big key to his success thus far with the current crop of fighters at 130/135lbs..he also seems to have a decent set of boxing skills to go along with his physical talent..what I wanna see is how real Broner’s skills are when he is evenly matched or out-gunned in the strength and punching power department because that is definitely going to happen if and when he moves up to 140lbs to challenge the top doggs at jr welter.

The Best!

Plain and simple DeMarco fought like a turtle without the shell, leaving his big head in there to be teed off on. He looked pathetic, showed zero boxing skills and his corner never told him any defensive or offensive tactics. I dont understand how De Marco has beaten so many guys.

I think Broner has real skills, but more than anything he just looks freakishly big at lightweight. DeMarco was able to get to Broner better than Escobedo, but neither opponent seemed to have a puncher’s chance at hurting him.

I look forward to him fighting some harder punchers at higher weight classes. These wirey opponents he’s been fighting can’t hurt him, and Broner has the skills to outbox them if he has to.

DeMarco was and remains a capable and dangerous lightweight. Broner is simply that good and Better. his overall execution was sublime. i can’t name any lightweight who would’ve fared any better v. Broner who seemed stronger and sturdier at lightweight. it was a solid win v. a legitimate champion. can’t wait to for Broner to arrive at 140lbs. that’s where i anticipate Broner may meet his match.

This young kid is good Marco couldnt land on him much like the problems Fighters have with Floyd because of the shoulder roll I think broner wont be tested until he moves up to at least 140 stiffer comp there…

What happened, DeMarco forgot how to punch?!! What a poor excuse for a champion!! All that build up for nothing and he easily got spanked!

It’s pitiful how I’ve read articles on this site where the author and CERTAIN SUBSCRIBERS haven’t given this kid his credit and just due just because DeMarco fought a STUPID FIGHT. SO WHAT!!! It’s not Broner’s fault that DeMarco fought a DUMB FIGHT; IT’S DEMARCO’S FAULT. If he didn’t use his attributes; ie height and movement to get out of the way of what Broner was throwing at him; SHAME ON HIM. As a fighter you are SUPPOSE TO MAKE YOUR OPPONENT PAY FOR THEIR MISTAKES. That’s how fights ARE WON, SMDH!!!!!
