Trout has no resume to hang with Cotto not even close, this is a classic tale of a guy biting off more then he can chew, the proven fighter will get it done, Cotto in 8

SREDMOND, Cotto has more money than there is money. He has been in a slew of big payday fights and can smell the roses anytime he chooses for the next two centuries. I think he is fighting for his legacy. He is a prideful and intropsective person, but he seems to have come out of his shell during this training camp. He even attended a basketball game at MSG. And he has had friends and family members around him like bees around honey, I truly believe he has been distracted. Trout, meanwhile, has been working like a driven person. This could be an imperfect storm. Just saying……..

I’m picking Trout in a major upset (on another site). I see him more focused as Cotto seems to have been enjoying himself a tad too much during his training camp.

TARK

I’d love to see Trout step up his game a little and whip Cotto, and then fight the Cinnamon Kid.. Cotto has a very good jab and very sharp left hook.. If Trout can evade these weapons for the most part he can win.. He’s not going to get any favors from the judges so I make him a 7: 5 underdog.

Trout fights nothing like Byrd… He fights a little like Olusegun. He doesn’t try to be too cute.

funny thing about people talking about cotto vs canelo. Not going to happen. Trout will give cotto a boxing lesson, once again canelo will find a way around Trout because of course he to would get a boxing lesson. Trout is a rising star and that will be aparent after saturday nights fight. Cotto is a warrior Im not taking anything away from him hes a class act. I just feel he is prime for Trout to show his talent.

I predict the latino will comeout on top against the afro american again just like last week with Guerrero Berto, Cotto will win in a late round stoppage.

eeeuugghh, trout got a horrible cagey negative style, not spectator friendly, it will be Cotto who makes it exiting not two ticket trout.

SREDMOND

Trouts gonna start eating that HARD Cotto jab, getting caught with some of those left hooks and then he is going to start shutting down… Miguel has NEVER lost to a fighter of Trouts caliber and he did not take this fight to start that trend… Miguel is looking to get set for his next BIG fight (most likely) Canelo or a slightly possible Mayweather rematch… But Cotto is NOT the type of fighter who takes guys lightly he knows that a loss to a guy like Trout would be a hit he does not need to take at this point in his career…

I´m glad there is some good promoting going on but its just words.. I´m more interested to know how long Trout is able to hang on in the fight. He is just too green for this level. Cotto will probably end this one with a bodyshot.
