te tumboBlASSthole, you keep punching out inflatable clown punching bags, wringing soaking wet bath towels, and imagining you’ve still got a fighting chance v. ANYbody over 5’5″ without a viagra prescription. i’ll continue to point out how much you and Old Yank have in common like your last scorecards for the Marquez v. Pacquiao* matchup. it is Sooo gratifying to see those scorecards posted for posterity and internet immortality. an enduring tribute to your shilling profile . . . Posted November 29, 2012 11:39 amKid Blastrca :) Posted November 28, 2012 10:05 pmrcaha! ha! ha! – I mean Pac !1 Posted November 28, 2012 9:28 pmjohnI dont think they sycoanalyze each other Posted November 28, 2012 9:10 pmjohnkid blast + t tumbo Posted November 28, 2012 9:07 pmjohnNo pac is a midget, I’m just a regular kid Posted November 28, 2012 9:05 pmjohnyea kid blast! Posted November 28, 2012 9:03 pmJun A.JMM should stop being a cry baby. I believe JMM and Pac-Man seem to have each other’s number. Simply put, they are each other’s personal nemesis. Even if both don’t admit, they are in each other’s head and that doesn’t help them against each other. Both can’t explain it really, no matter how hard they try. If either one knows how the hell to explain that, they wouldn’t have that many fights, would they? True, Pac-Man has trouble with JMM but so did JMM with Pac-Man. However, I wonder how JMM would have fared against the likes of Antonio Margarito, Joshua Clottey, Oscar dela Hoya, Shane Mosley, Ricky Hatton and Miguel Cotto, all of whom Pac-Man fought? Posted November 28, 2012 8:58 pmKid Blastrca, yeah, Pavlik has the weight and height advantage!!!! (Y) Posted November 28, 2012 8:02 pmrcaJuiced up or not, Marquez will cease his whining after this coming fight. Pav by KO !!! Posted November 28, 2012 7:39 pmLmanIt will probably be an entertaining fight, but I just cant stand to fill Bob Arums pockets anymore… Posted November 28, 2012 5:41 pmKid BlastAnd BTW, Roach says that he will “kiss JMM’s ass if he is natural with his body”—just saying. Do you think he is juicing? Posted November 28, 2012 5:10 pmKid BlastTumbo, I get the impression that you probably weigh about 125 soaken wet and maybe stand 5’5.” I’m 6’2″ and now weigh 240 pounds (down 70 since last December thanks to layioing off the Tex Mex crap and the Negro Modelo and thanks to weight lifting and especially working out on the heavy bag with your name platered all over it). I’d love to get my hands around your chicken neck some day, affectionatly of course. Can we arrange a meet in the Barrio? Por favor, amiiiiigo, por favor? However, you did get me by using Old Yank’s name in the same sentence as mine. That cut to the bone. :( Posted November 28, 2012 5:08 pmte tumbo“have a glass of JMM”s p–s on me!” like I figured. that’s another indefensible scorecard that you (and Old Yank) won’t be bragging about and would rather forget. Btw, “Nyehhhh” right back at you Baby Huey . . . Posted November 28, 2012 4:56 pmPac is a midgetI think John is Top Rank paid. PEDcquiao should be fighting younger, hungrier fighters instead of fighting fighters he’s already beat. For supposedly a future HOF fighter, about 33% of his fights seem to be the same opponent he’s already beaten. Posted November 28, 2012 4:47 pmKid BlastThank you, John, for educating us here on ESB. We appreciate your humilty and I simply can’t wait to see you along side pop-eye on HBO. Posted November 28, 2012 4:30 pmjohnOne more point then I’ll wait for Max or Jim to contact me for a possible invitation to comment on HBO. Rocky Marciano was short with short arms for his weight, Tommy Hearns was very tall(Motor City Cobra) yet they had very similar punching styles. I will explain later. There is no purer form of sport! john Posted November 28, 2012 4:26 pmjohnThat young Rocky Santillo who Marquez is boxing with in the gym is a badass. Did you see Juan clock him a couple weeks ago and the kid got right up and went right back without even touching gloves? The Mexico City fighters are a breed. Posted November 28, 2012 3:36 pmBoxtradamusMarquez by stoppage or PUNISHING SD. Posted November 28, 2012 3:29 pmjohnLook Guys, I know what you’re saying. But we don’t have the middleweights of the 40s, 50s and early 70s; or the lightweights of the late 70s or welterweights of the early 80s or fetherweights of the early 2000s. This is what we have and it IS as good as any action ever. It’s just this one matchup so make the best of it! Couple good guys coming up but I won’t even pay to watch Mayweather. Posted November 28, 2012 3:25 pmjohnDear Sir: Thanks for yours of 2:34 pm, Let’s recall 2003 and a 122lb Manny Paquiao coming to America. He was great. Moving up to featherweight to overwhelm Marco Antonio Berrera knocking the crap out of an all time great. Then the war with Eric Moralles who is living breathing proof that you don’t have to win them all to be a great fighter. Look, I’m not in love with Manny and I’m not even gay. I just realize that this fight coming on December 8 could be last of its magnatude for a long time cause their just aint gonna be anything like it for a while. Posted November 28, 2012 3:11 pmBoxtradamus“Watching Manny beat up bigger guys has been a true pleasure.”-Well you’re easily impressed. Beating BIGGER guys isn’t that impressive to ME. Legitimately beating someone that is in the UPPER echelon of Fighters (ie. Top 10 P4P or World CHAMP) is what is impressive to ME…..De la Hoya, Mosley, Clottey, and Margarito were ALL #0 P4P NON Championship level Fighters at the time that Manny beat them. That’s not impressive. That’s not impressive. Even Lamont Peterson could have beaten those Fighters at that time. Marquez would have SPANKED them all TOO…..and I wouldn’t have been impressed. Posted November 28, 2012 2:34 pmjohnEventually it might come down to Little Chavez and that Thurman guy from Florida in a battle of who smashes the other guys liver first. Anybody in a hurry to fight one of them? Also the kid from Cincinatti who just moved up to lightweight for a title. He’s weird but that has nothing to do with the game. Non of them are reading this nonsense because they’re in the gym. Posted November 28, 2012 2:19 pmjohnOK GOOD! Fight 1 Round 1 When somebody called Juan Manuel Marquez an intelligent fighter, he got that right! Because what do you do after a round like that if you don’t quit? YOU LEARN Posted November 28, 2012 1:52 pmjohnYoung Fella, Feddie and Nacho could learn from me as I could learn from them. We are all students of the sweet science and will continue to learn till we die. The differance is that the have been fortunate to have such wonderful and dedicated atheletes walk into their gym while I have wasted my time with dummies like some of you guys on this site. Now if you pay attention here you will learn something that will transform you from the bumm that you are into a semi respectable club fighter. Posted November 28, 2012 1:27 pmKid Blasthecdog has the beat. Posted November 28, 2012 1:17 pmKid Blastte tumbo , have a glass of JMM”s p–s on me! Posted November 28, 2012 1:16 pmKid Blastte tumbo , have a glass of JMM’s piss on me. Posted November 28, 2012 1:14 pmjohnLesson Time. When a guy like Marquez backs up, tha’s what we mean by a dynamic puncher. The opponant is stepping forward and missing as your fist and his chin collide. Marquez is an expert at it. Posted November 28, 2012 1:01 pmjohnIn fight two, when Juanito got caught with that short left hand and followed Manny to the wrong corner at the end of the round. If you never fought, you probably just don’t get it. It’s ok to like BOTH fighters. You don’t have to pick one to route for. Posted November 28, 2012 12:55 pmPac is a midget@Bakie O so you mean be like Hatton, Clottey, Diaz. Just be punching bags in the ring so Manny can show his skill or lack thereof. When Manny fights someone with any kind of skill and defense Manny looks ordinary. His opponents should just stand there according to Pactards. Posted November 28, 2012 12:55 pmhecdogManny Pacquiao has won all three fights. Tired of JMM and Beristein trying to discredit Pacquiao constantly. Stop your crying and whining and accept the JUDGES decision. Manny has always handled himself respectfully inside and outside the ring. he could have cried all night after the Bradley robbery, but he handled like a professional. JMM is the biggest cry baby in the world. If I was Roach and Manny, I would seriously test JMM for steroids or other crap. He’s huge now. Amazing how he changed his body once he started using the same nutrition and conditioning trainer that Marion Jones used , and guess what, he was the guy supplying her with that crap. Why would boxing allow this guy to work with another top athlete? As usual, Manny doesn’t say a thing because he’s a truly good man and will take JMM on regardless. And by the way, Manny Pacquiao is a much smaller guy than his opponents body frame wise. I’ve seen all these guys in person, and Manny is small. He has to eat all day to maintain weight, so the catch weight is good for him. Just because he makes the weight doesn’t mean that is natural for him. This time around Manny knocks out the crying, whining JMM around the 8-9 round. Posted November 28, 2012 12:52 pmBakie LongtaIf Marquez is really serious about winning the fight against Pacquiao then stop whining & blaming the judges . He must show that he is better fighter by facing Pscquiao Mano a Mano & not a too defensive, backward moving style fighter. Posted November 28, 2012 12:48 pmJohnMargarito, a big welterweight vs Manny, a natural featherweight? That was beautiful. And some of Juan’s performances were equaly as impressive. Juan Diaz 1 for example. I am not here to argue. Rather to share enthusiasm for these two great, great fighters willing to knock each others brains out again. Posted November 28, 2012 12:46 pmPac is a midgetFirst of all, they weren’t bigger guys. That’s what the catchweights BS is for. If he was truly fighting bigger guys like Wlad, he would cry at the sight of a real man. Posted November 28, 2012 12:38 pmJohnGentlemen, Let’s not try to discredit anybody here, bad for the game we love. Watching Manny beat up bigger guys has been a true pleasure. I’d like to think that it was all done without pe drugs. A young man shouldn’t need that stuff. Look what happened to Lance. Posted November 28, 2012 12:19 pmte tumboBtw: “As far as people thinking I am taking steroids? I would take the test. Let them take my blood. I don’t care – just to shut everybody up”. something that Pacquiao* could never bring himself to declare. not even for $50 million v. his primary P4P rival. until he does, his ring-profile will always lack the credibility and integrity of the truly great Juan Manuel Marquez. Posted November 28, 2012 12:02 pmJohnKid you’re missing out on the beauty of this epic event. Juanito is the quintasential boxer/puncher! Manny has balls fighting him as he has more to lose than to gain. These two guys are the best to come out of the the greatest featherweight era of all time. Compare Marquez to Ray Robinson and Paquiao to Roberto Duran. Scientific boxing at its best and we are so fortunate to be able to see it live ing hight def. If you miss this, you don’t even like or understand the game. Posted November 28, 2012 11:05 amKid BlastTo listen to this guy you’d think he’d won 20 of the last 24 rounds against Pacquiao. The truth is Marquez’s style, (refusing to attack and purely looking to counter) makes for a close fight on the cards. At least he managed to avoid getting dropped on his arse in the last fight i suppose. Posted November 28, 2012 9:51 am |
