he was probably overrated but still he managaged to unify the 3 major belts and keep it for a few years. Holy, Lewis, Bowe did not (or at least did not keep them unified for long). Even WLadimir never truly unified as he never had the WBC

Good for Mike Tyson, but the way he is doing it is sad for many of his loyal fans world wide. The way Tyson now days talks crap about his own boxing career, the career that made him into a famous champion, that made him to a multi millionair, the sport that made him to an sports legend is now according to his own words not worth much for him and that makes me feel a bit sick on it as well. I was one of his supporters during the 90′s and on till his retirement and I can say that he was never detined to defeat the likes of Lennox Lewis, Evander Holyfield or if he took the challange against George Foreman, Oliver McCall or Ray Mercer. Tyson is just now days remeberd for his early career and so many people just dont want to accept that Tyson was great but NOT the best in his era and was never destined for it as well.

Yeah, Broner is big with the rednecks. They line up around the block to watch him.

To Bigmomma: Sorry, but if you think Tyson’s problems are a result of his rough upbringing you’re not a conservative. Conservatives would in fact refer to you as a ‘bleeding heart liberal’. As a group, which in fact they are, they’re a pretty stupid lot. Edmund Burke wouldn’t recognize ‘em, that’s for sure. Put that in your pipe and smoke it!

I got to see “The Undisputed Truth” in a “friends and family-only” dress rehearsal two days before the Broadway opening. It was funny, sad, angry, reflective and more. Above all it was story-telling told in the best traditions of story-telling. Act 1 was a knockout. Act 2 a bit of a let down and Act 3 a fine closer. The “acts” are separated by 1 minute “between rounds” pauses. This is a three-round bout like you’ve never seen before. Go see it.

Pretty funny that you found a way to make this about politics. It says more about your oversimplified grouping of people into a category you don’t like than it does the actual issue at hand. I for one will be buying tickets because I think Tyson is a good guy who had a rough life growing up and was falsely accused.

- a “conservative”

Why John? Is a man not entitled to evolve a career outside of boxing?
