Koolz

This match up might not even go two round for Golovkin.
He might KO Rosado in the first with a left hook.

Gonzo the Dragonborn – ESB poster of the year 2012

GGG soft as butter…. I’m detecting the strong stench of ALT dust emanating from your direction. I’m also getting a distinct whiff of essence of Andre Ward fan riding on the breeze too.

Facts

I know you’re probably right,”health comes first”,”what if i lose” vs pac on phone lol.A guy can dream though right? He’s very cautious against a former flyweight he knows Sergio is too dangerous. Was just mentioning the targets Sergio wants,he just wants to expose these hype jobs but they have so many excuses & are too cautious he can’t beat em if they don’t fight him.Golovkin is in same situation.

mrpleaseplease

facts……. u have to be joking. waaaaaaaay to dangerous for pretty boy floyd. Rember bro, health before anything. so no, floyd won’t fight sergio or ggg. I’m thinkin floyd pretty bummed out cause he wants the bradley fight so he can say he beat the guy that just beat manny so no need to fight manny now. won’t happen either though. i feel floyd will end up fighting the ghost cause even ginger is to much risk. maby little floyd taking robert to lightly though at the same time.floyds last semi competitive fight is long past(oscar) so don’t be lookin for him to fight a live dog at all. wouldn’t surprize me in the least if we’ve already seen the last of floyd in the ring. peace ya’ll

props to Rosado for taking this fight…just goes to show that there are guys out there that are willing to fight anyone, although ggg may be a mite too big for Rosado

I really like Golovkin, but believe his promising career could be wrecked by the Boxing politics of the rouge sanctioning bodie’s + the promotors that are distroyng the noble art of pugilism(Please excuse the Chris Eubank impression) We the Boxing public deserve the truth, which means knowing who’s 100% #1 @ each of the 17+ weight divisions. Australia’s Daniel Geale made an Admiral attempt at unification, but got screwed by the WBA, just as S.G.Martinez did when the WBC gave him the so called Diamond belt, leaving the door open for Mexico’s J.C.Chavez Jr to pick up the title. The IBF seem to have the same idea @ 168Lb with the talk of stripping Carl Froch if he doesn’t fight Adonis Stephenson. Yes mandatory challenges have to be honoured, but the sport needs unification to provide clarity. The miggleweight division has some fascinating contest availible if they could be arranged. As I used to say in a previous life “1 World. 1 Champ”!!

this fight should be good while it last rosado is experince and battle tested he improve he strong can hit and he confident but i think his style going to play right along golovkin hands i think golovkin timing and technique and power and precise punches going to be the difference but rosado is tough with heart but he been hurt before and drop i see golovkin wiining this in 6th rounds

Facts

I like golovkin but Martinez has proven himself,he’d get ko’d in one punch & doesn’t possess power either?only a stupid idiot believes that. He’s a jr middlweeight @ 160lb knocking heads off.I like golovkin but he can get it too, better wait your turn though boi.Floyd/canelo are first.

Brutal slaughter (that may be redundant) as GGG butchers this poor kid in two rounds.

Koolz

Ike he doesn’t have any power. He isn’t fighting anyone where a lot of power is needed to knock them out. Yes Golovkin won’t be fighting Martinez . But really who cares he would knock Martinez out with one punch.
Golovkin made a fool of Chavez Jr and Martinez couldn’t even KO him while he just stud there got punched for 11 rounds.
Not all fighters can keep it up as they age. and fighting is brutal on your body.
none of the middle weights are good enough to beat Golovkin and his trainer and coach knows this.

GGG is a clown! will this guy ever fight someone decent? Rosado’s team oughta be shot for doing this, they’re gonna get their guy hurt, he’s a junior middleweight and he’s just getting his career back on track and starting to develop now they jumo him up a division to face the hardest puncher there. dumb move they coulda chased bundrage and beat his ass for his belt in rosados natural division or cashed out vs alvarez now that alavarez doesn’t want lara or trout!

Ike

Golovkin vs. Martinez is never going to happen. Damn shame. Martinez is fighting Martin Murray. Then he’ll have a rematch with Chavez Jr. And then he’ll go after Mayweather or Canelo. Alvarez has already said he wants to fight Martinez. GGG is going to annihilate Rosado. After that he’ll probably fight someone like former champ Dmitry Pirog. Again, it’s a damn shame because Golovkin is the goods.

Sergio Martinez doesn’t have power? Prior to his fight with Chavez, Maritinez had won 3 out of 4 fights by KO or TKO. Matthew Macklin was the only exception and he retired on his stool after round 10. And those 4 opponents who Martinez beat down combined for a 127-4 won-loss record. Martinez may not have KO’d Chavez Jr., but to say he doesn’t have power is clueless.

Koolz

Anonymous your a little clueless saying that Martinez has power. You obviously did not watch his last pathetic fight where he couldn’t even knock out a more pathetic fighter that almost knocked him out in the closing rounds.
He would die if he fought Golovkin. That fight will probably never happen though.
He looks slow to me with out power. Just bounces around does some sticking work.
I wasn’t impressed.

Respect to rosado for stepping up but God of war going in on that @ss.

Cosign Sister Sledge. Rosado can end up getting beatdown and lose the vitality he’s had the last 2 years. Then they could pull his mandatory status at 154. HIgh risk fight in a higher weight division instead of wait for your rightful title shot in your own division? Bad management. They want their dough the HBO payday brings.

Posted December 2, 2012 1:35 am

Sister Sledge

I don’t understand why Rosado, or his handlers would take this fight. This is a potentially career-damaging fight against a guy who has so much more experience, and is in a higher weight division. Why not just wait for a K-9 fight? I don’t know what up with the Rosado management team, but it doesn’t seem like they are looking out for his best interest. Forget the money. He needs to get more experience before he fights a guy like GGG.

it stupid for a fighter ggg to step out of a legiiment divison like the middle weight division to 168 before he gets a shot at the middle weight belt. if this guy ggg is as good a miidle weight as they say he has to do is keep koing middles often and keep calling out middle weight champs marvin hagler was in this postion once and he didnt run up to light heavy he just keep winning and calling out the champs eventually the people heard his calls

If Golovkin were o fight Martinez, it’d be a tough blood ang guts batlle, but a battle that Sergio “Maravilla” Martinez would win, yes Golovkin has speed ,power and boxing skill, but so does Martinez and I’d say his power is a bit more damaging that Golvkin’s and Martinez can take the biggest punches out there and shrug it off like nothing, so if they were to fight, ko by Martinez

Puglife

I’ve enjoyed watching Rosado’s last few fights but as Walter from the Big Lebowski would say he’s “out of his element” here and will got stopped inside the distance. I’d favor GGG over anyone at MW right now, including Sergio Martinez (who’s getting old).

Bax, I doubt he’d make Sergio “look old”. His work rate is much higher. I wouldn’t rule out a late stoppage of Martinez but making him look old,… i doubt it.

I’ve become a big fan of Rosado over the past couple years. He’s a guy who came up the hard way, stayed dedicated to the craft, and emerged with some big wins after a spotty start to his career. Now I can see him beating most of the 154 division outside Canelo. Why go to 160 to face the killer everyone’s avoiding in Golovkin? When he’s the mandatory challenger to K9? Makes no sense at all and I don’t like this fight. GGG could KO him, wasting all that hard work in a rough fight outside his division. But one thing’s for sure: Rosado has guts and ducks nobody.

Rosado will be TKO’d

I was just there at MSG and saw both of them posing for photos. This is going to be a great bout!

GGG is the guy that will make Sergio look like a old man. He should step up super middle where he can find real competition.
