Sturm hasn’t had a real fight since Oscar de la Hoya. He had a draw with Randy Griffin for God’s sake. Who didn’t see this coming? Sturm is a fraud who has been such a pansy that he dodged Hopkins, Taylor, Martinez, Williams, Pavlik, Abraham, Chavez Jr., Miranda, Golovkin, Pyrog, and a whole lot more. I wouldn’t watch his jab fest if you paid me. Why do you think Roach stopped training him? Probably because Freddie expected him to fight a real man and not some day laborer who boxes on the side.

Well I’m not suprised if I say so! I have for many years now felt that Felix Sturm NEVER was a real world champion sence he first got the WBA belt back in 2005 and yeah, Sturm WAS GIVEN the belt with-out to fight for it just becouse Jermain Taylor had to fullfill the re-match claus to fight Bernard Hopkins the same year and actually that fight was at the time needed and Sturm could not wait until the fight was over (No Sturm never atempted to fight Hopkins for the belt right eaither), So yes, I have never sence then felt that Sturm is or was a real world champion becouse he never won the title in a real contest and then he could have proved himself by fighting at the time rival world champions Arthur Abraham (IBF) and Kelly Pavlik (Lineal, WBC & WBO) but NO, Sturm ducked them both BIG TIME and the rest is history. Felix Sturm shall never recive any credit nfor being a recognised world champion by serius boxing fans and experts. Just a cheap created world title holder.
