U stupid mtfck.. When u get old your cells get old naturally.. No way u can get more bigger or stronger when you pass your 25′s! Doing repeated exercises would only worn your muscles not unless your doing something unnatural.. Marquez made Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde of himself.. Big upper body thin legs! It’s ROIDS of course! U don’t have to be a doctor to know that!

You don’t have to be a chemist to know that Marquez was indeed Doped. He’s been using that right hand counterpunching for as long as everybody can remember.. Never did he knocked down Pacquiao. He dont have that punching power & Manny has one of the strongest chin in the business. And what? He was able to KD Pacquiao the 1st time in a very stable stance?? What’s going on? Check the name Memo Heredia – one of the notorious supplier of PED (who admitted) perfected the science of not detecting ROiDS on your blood & urine even during Olympics.. Marquez so desperate on winning that even drinking his own urine as a sign that he will do everything just to get back to Pacquiao! Why do you think he hire this snitch & lier Heredia? To bring back the glory to his beloved country.. What an ass.

wish more people thought like SREDMOND he is completely rite, great post. why is manny bumped out of the top ten p4p after the loss? theres no way in hell bradley should be rated higher than manny. i know he technically lost two in a row but cmon. I was a fan of bradley but changed after seein the way he acted after the pac fight. FOTY i also think should still be rios alvarado. and until somethin is announced no one should be accusing a great champion like marquez of cheatin. would like to see any combination of rios, marquez, and bradley fight now. not sure about manny, still think he has some good fights left in him if he wants to come back. i for one would still enjoy seein him try and knock mayweather the f out. but i would enjoy seein anyone knock him out, been waitin for years, got a semi hard on goin when mosley caught him and just ended up with blue balls!

All the focus has been on Marquez’s power troubling Manny since the latter has been able to take punches from bigger punchers than Marquez. So then Marquez must be on some PED’s…well has anyone not thought perhaps Manny could handle those bigger punchers because he was on PED’s and now has since stopped using them???

Posted December 10, 2012 11:49 am

SREDMOND

We just saw perhaps the conclusion of the MOST closely contested trilogy (now quadrilogy) in the history of boxing… Both JMM and Manny BOTH deserve the utmost respect for bringing their A game to the event… How many fighters in Pac’s position would face their TOUGHEST rival a 4th time as opposed to Bradley who most think he beat pretty handily?? How many fighters at Marquez age would have the will and desire to train his body that ferociously and handle the abuse that Pacquiao put on him and still time and drop him… It was a priviledge to witness this slice of history and guys cannot do anything but make excuses and create conspiracies to detract from a GREAT night of boxing… Reality is ALOT of you are not even fans of boxing you, are like girls who can’t enjoy a BRUISING 6 round battle between 2 elite fighters giving their all… SMH

Angel Hereida (PED Supplier to Olympians) not have been involved in any way. Angel He saved his ass by snitching out others in the BALCO scandal, and even stated how he did it, and how there were plenty of ways to mask the them. I know JMM fans are roaming the streets still salivating after the KO, but using this guy shouldn’t have been allowed. He was busted by the Federal Government, so why allow this guy into a sport? JMM never had power like this. before and never had his upper torso shredded like did. Boxing needs to have the most thorough testing around or guys can possibly cheat. If JMM tested clean then so be it. He won, and should get credit, but it’s high suspect watching him train live at different camps. Mariods is noticeably bigger for a guy that was smaller than Manny before. Mariods power was a heavyweights not a welterweight. lets see the test results asap !

Marquez is much heavier now at 143, so obviously his power is going to increase. In their third fight, Marquez never really connected Pacquiao the way he did in yesterday’s fight. He connected him with a clean right power shot that KD Pacquiao. Pacquiao got up right away, but was in bad shape. The second knock down was a tremendous right hand, pushing all his weight forward….no boxer was gonna get up from that one. If you naive little people don’t realize that, then you’re watching the wrong sport.

The title of this articles says it all. Just as everyone will remember Pac for his dominance, everyone will now remember Marquez. What an excellent fighter. Marquez took a lot of punishment to finally put himself in position for that punch. Also, his nick name is ‘Dinamita’ is really fitting… he did what no other welter-weight could do.

It was the perfect punch ,Pacquiao came rushing in and Marquez put all his power into his punch ,,what do you think happens ,,” knock out” ,, just like Sergio Martinez did to Paul Williams ,,anyone would have been knock out ,, Besides Pacquiao was already hurt in the 3 rd round ..

Listen why can’t you people understand that if any athlete starts to weight train in order to become stronger it doesn’t mean that person is on steroids if u see results. Marquez has always had power. Look at his record and ko ratio which I believe is higher than pacquiao. Manny ran right into that punch. Perfect punch right on the button. Stop hating. Marquez has pacquiao’s number and people just need to realize that. You need to ask how does pacquiao go from taking shots from bigger , stronger men when he kept moving up in weight but all of sudden he seems normal in his last 4 fights. Maybe pacquiao got of the juice. His punch resistance is gone.

MAD SCIENTIST: I doubt that any fight which can come in the future will ever outshine any of Marquez vs. Pacquiao fights. Marquez’s victory is galactical to say the least. He has always been world class, and so has Pacquiao. This is definitely the most electrifying and riveting fight of the year. It’s hard ot imagine anything topping this for years to come. My lots of respect for Mayweather’s tactician genius but don’t think he will ever amp up even one tenth of what Marquez and Pac do when they fight each other.

This JMM PED thing is nonsense. As I wrote before, any boxer will tell you ‘the punch with the greatest effect is the punch you don’t see coming.’ And this punch, according to Pacquiao himself, was never seen coming. AND it landed right on the button, and with full force. I don’t care who you are, when an elite professional prize fighter catches you with this combination — you didn’t see it coming, with mean intentions, and it hits on the button — it’s lights out, for anyone. Case closed. Now accept the facts and move on.

Old Coot – If I remember, you were one of the main ones bashing Mayweather for demanding Pacquiao and all of his future opponents take a random drug test before each fight. Now that Marquez put on muscle and KO’d your hero, suddenly you’re complaining about PEDS? Had you and the rest of the Pactards sided with Mayweather and demand your hero take the test, not only would the superfight happen already, but this brutal end to Pacquiao’s career by Marquez might have been avoided as well. Funny how life works.

Because Pac came from 106lbs. It is not like Pac is a natural 147 or 140 pounder. He came from the lowe weight classes and Marquez started heavier than him. Not to mention Pac has been looking bad his last few fights. So this is not a big surprise if you look at all the facts.

As far as I’m concerned Juan is clean…Until there is some proof or evidence that links him to doping this is the best win of his Hall of Fame career. I look at it this way….Juan took the necessary steps to ensure his body and mind were in peak condition for his greatest test and he came out victorious. Juan went through hell to get the win he’s been seeking all these years but the end result is all that matters. Give the man his dues. He’s worked hard…he’s bled for this sport and worked hard to reach this climactic end. The fight was an epic battle that we all are going to remember. Let’s appreciate the performance BOTH men put on. PAC was actually winning and had Juan in MAJOR trouble through out the fight…especially in the 5th round. If you look at the punch stats…PAC was the more accurate fighter..PAC was the busier fighter and PAC inflicted the most damage…..So a 5th fight as crazy as it may sound might not be that bad of an idea. Even though Juan won this one emphatically at the very end…..he wasn’t looking like a fighter who was going to end up with the “W” in the rounds before.

look at the last fight jmm vpaq 3 jmm was bulking up then its not juice just good old fashioned heavy weights which u wiil find make u bigger and hence more powerful jjm didnt need peds likme i posted earlier he traded speed for power a risk that he was paying for look at his face but he fought paq that many times he knew what he was gonna do and timed that right to perfection the lunging forward of paq increased the power of the punch ,oh and also look jmm ko rec he quite a high ko ratio .and finally what if it was just that mannys not juiced up any more and thats why he got koed

Angel Heredia: Undetectable. We’ve used ointments that do not leave any traces and that enable a consistently high testosterone level in athletes.

I wish people would understand what Pound for Pound means and stop putting the Kiltschko’s in the ratings…and I don’t believe there are even 10 P4P fighters in the whole world today so the whole idea of a top ten in bollocks.

Look at Tommy Morrison’s early fights and Fernando Vargas’ fights pre-Oscar de la Hoya. Neither were defined, but once they got on the juice they were all cut up. Fernando Vargas was busted after his sudden physical transformation before fighting Oscar only because his advisers weren’t adept at beating the test. Marquez has the guy who juiced up Tim Montgomery and Maurice Green so he knows what to do.

You have the perfect title J-Slat, “Super Marquez” pull off the K.O of the decade, of the century, and of all time …

Marquez destroyed Pacmania with one shot.

No Congrats to JMM. Hey JMM were did you get this new power. Dont give me this ” Punch Pacman didnt see coming” Pac took hard shots from Cotto and Marg now JMM hits harder than both. JMM juiced got jiuced by Angel big time

Posted December 9, 2012 1:22 pm

The Akbar One

Why do people ignore the fact that Pac stepped on Marquez’s foot, when Marquez went down?

Posted December 9, 2012 1:22 pm

JoelMTL

It was really disturbing to see Pacman go down like that … I did not see that coming (neither did he obviously). It’s always a bit sad to see heroes fall like that. Congrats to Marquez on his well deserved win. Also props to Pacquiao for taking this like a man. I hope we recovers well.

End of an era

shameless floidiots are celebrating as if it was their idol who destroyed pacman. pathetic. hey, ladies and girls… before you jump with joy like monkeys…your idol is a coward who would rather hide behind JMM’s apron strings than face pacman.
it took little marquez to fight and beat pacman… than your wimp of an idol to take risks by fighting pacman and basks at the glory.

congratz JMM…with heredia around…i hope you’re clean. LOL

KU99 good point…but floyd was coming of 2 yrs of inactivity…anyway marquez cannot beat floyd… thats not even a fight that would sell… floyd might just stay retired…. i wanted to see pac vs floyd…but now it just doesn’t have the same appeal

Posted December 9, 2012 12:57 pm

boxxman

and as far as JMM being clean.. the punches that drop pac were 2 shots he didnt see coming…he walked right into the one in round 6 and from the angle he came in the weight transfer wouldve knock any fighter out period!!! lets not go into the ped talks again…pac dosnt like to talk about ped!!!

Posted December 9, 2012 12:53 pm

For anyone comparing this Marques to the one Floyd faced….you all are retarded. JMM had just moved up 2 divisions to fight Floyd. Last nights JMM had years to acclimate to the new weight….he introduced a new wrinkle to his preparations in Memo and he’s never looked better. Floyd would probably still beat JMM….but I 100% gurantee it wouldn’t look like it did back in 2009. Juan would knock out a few corners that made the fight A LOT more competetive…Maybe even better than what Miguel was able to accomplish against Floyd.

Incredible fight and incredible KO for Juan. I’m very happy for Juan and finally getting a definitive win over Manny. I thought Juan was DONE in round 5…he was hurt, dropped twice and eating a bunch of straight lefts. Round six he was in retreat mode and PAC was closing in for the KO….JMM stayed composed and weathered the storm to find a perfect counter right that slept Manny. I had PAC winning and controlling the fight until the KD. This may have been the shortest fight out of all 4, but it was the BEST! PAC may never be the same after a KO like that….but if JMM is willing to give PAC another shot…I’d be glad to see what happens in the 5th installment of JMM vs PAC. Terrific fight by both men and congrats to Juan! YOU THE MAN!

When floyd came back and fought Marquez yrs ago…marquez was TOO old… all the pactards where saying marquez is garbage floyd fighting an old man….now that the same old marquez KO pacman….who is old now??? Floyd completely murdered marquez…. was not even close…. i can only imagine what he would do with pac… marquez is a good counter puncher but floyd is on another level…. the thing i like with marquez is that he’s a brawler counter puncher a very dangerous thing to do but perfect to beat pac……. pac lost to bradely and marquez twice … its bybye now

doubting thomas or moron jmm picked power over speed he bulked up with weight traing for explosive power which was risky not peds just accept it and move on ,but if we go by your rationale then it could be that paq was using peds thus jmm couldnt ko him as he did look noticably smaller this time rd lol.

Posted December 9, 2012 12:28 pm

Doubting Thomas

I’m not saying he took anything but i understand why people may have some doubt. 36 rounds he couldn’t drop Pacquaio but now he can twice at 39. Ko of the year without any doubt but i understand why some fans have doubt.

Pac should retire. He has nothing else to prove. Congrats Marquez. Mayweather haters are shocked and weeping.

I think pacman and Freddy didn’t have enough respect for marquez… They trained solely for a knockout and got one… Unfortunately for them it wasn’t the KO, they wanted….

redemption after the 3 fight which was not that close ,i wanted jmm to win one of my fav fighters took a chance going for power over speed but it payed off,paq got no ezcuses this time guy handled defeat well and was a gentleman

One Lucky SOB

Pacquiao making a rookie mistake of coming forward unnecessarily before a round’s end that he’s undoubtedly convincingly won. The rest is history… Pacquiao-Marquez 5 is better than anything at this point

There was some poetic justice in the way the fourth episode ended. After three ‘flip a coin” matches, this one was beginning to look one-sided. Pacman was definitely ahead and Marquez’s face was so busted up and bleeding it looked he would have to quit – until the last second explosion. It was no fluke, Marquez had already landed several of those flush bombs. Pacman’s jaw was “softened” by at least five big right hands and he had warmed up for the KO with a knock down. He refused to see the last one coming. So Marquez made up for the three controversies and avenged for all the fellow Mexican boxers who lost to the “Mexicutioner”.
