ROB SMITH IS WATCHING YOU!
loser!Posted December 12, 2012 8:16 am
lol, Rob is removing comments with any form of criticism. Relax Rob!Posted December 12, 2012 5:44 am
this Rob Smith character is a laugh. Listen Rob, Pacquiao and Marquez are both ATGs. Pacquiao does not have an “out of control” fighting style. Both fighters are master tacticians and Marquez pulled it off and set a trap in the 4th fight. Congrats to him.
The superior fighter between these two guys is clearly Manny Pacquiao. He has won the previous 3 (denied the 1st fight due to blind judges). This last fight was all do to, well you know the new training regimen with Angel. By the way, Manny was clearly on his way to another victory until the PED PUNCH landed. Manny is the better fighter all the way around, and as far as a 5th fight hmm….I think 4 is enough, but if JMM wants to be taken to the morgue, he best not even think of fighting the boxer of the decade and possibly greatest fighter of all time. No, no, stay away from Manny.Posted December 12, 2012 3:12 am
Whiny sore losers.Posted December 11, 2012 7:29 pm
as long as a fighter keeps throwing with bad intentions, it cannot be considered a lucky punch, it’s basically carelessness on the opponents partPosted December 11, 2012 1:53 pm
So, try and not get a wedgie when you think about. I know jmm fans feel as though jmm has been vindicated but prior to the “KO”, jmm was losing, nothing to brag about on that.Posted December 11, 2012 12:56 pm
What jmm did, was throw a hail mary. Nothing different than what David Haye is known for. Only if you’re lucky can you land one and on Saturday night, jmm was the lucky one. But he was getting his ass handed to him prior to his lucky shot, he was actually losing.Posted December 11, 2012 12:53 pm
I dont quite agree with this article because even though I truly feel that at any weight JMM would give Pacman problems, I cant say that this knockout proves that JMM is superior considering NEITHER fighter dominated the other in there three previous fights. Their styles are very different, but make for an exciting night each time out. This fight was different from the other three because BOTH guys came in with the mentality that the judges were no longer going to decide who wins or loses…much more caution was thrown to the wind. JMMs KO win in THIS fight is the product of Pacman biggest weakness finally catching up to him…his inability to handle a boxer who is also a very good counterpuncher. This has been a career problem for Pacman, one that Roach has repeatedly failed to correct.Posted December 11, 2012 12:41 pm
“But you can’t find where i said UD ANYWHERE” I can, Braggadamus : In the thread under the article “Pacquiao vs. Marquez IV: Firmly on the Fence, by Paul Strauss, Dec. 6, 2012. Here’s your post, cut and pasted:
I predict that Marquez will win by UD!
Fool. My memory is better than yours. So is my 2012 prediction record.Posted December 11, 2012 12:15 pm
Just a second left mate, and if Manny didn’t became over eager it would be a whole new ball game. Marquez is bleeding badly from the broken nose that will affect his breathing. And since Manny has been landing his left every now and then it will just be a matter of time before another Manny victory.Posted December 11, 2012 11:08 am
Oh… and actually Pac is leading on any scorecards (judges, online, u name it!) before the 1 second to go knock out happened. JMM is actually at the right place at the right time, it was a bit of luck too actually.Posted December 11, 2012 9:53 am
Huh?? Agree with most of the comments here… first is the “superior fighter” thing, I agree with gruvemeister, they just have different styles. One might be good this and the other is not and vice versa. And pls. the writer is just too bias, JMM did not won all fights. YOU CAN ASK ANY REAL BOXING EXPERT ABOUT IT.Posted December 11, 2012 9:47 am
Sick of reading/hearing about how Marquez really won the first 2 fights. I don’t agree, I think Manny won the first two fights but I’m happy with a win and a draw as given by the judges. The 3rd fight was a clear robbery however in a way was the catalyst to Saturday’s shock KO of Manny. As far as I’m concerned they are 2-2 in wins and I can’t wait to see the next one – even if it’s only for the chance of seeing Bob Arum’s face again while Jinkee squeels and jumps about hysterically in the ring – comedy gold :-)Posted December 11, 2012 9:09 am
why does their have to be a superior fighter…how about different style fighters at the elite level…marquez is the better technician and now add power to the equation but manny has countered that with speed, agility and power…i slightly favored marquez in the 3 previous fights but that is because i love the precision of his counterpuncing style and also his intelligence in the righ…but I can clearly see if you like manny’s style better you may have given him all 3 earlier fights…incidentally marquez is actually the only one of pacs opponents whose style i like better than manny’s…lolPosted December 11, 2012 5:39 am
Marquez would be carrying a huge mental advantage over Pacquiao* in a 5th match, which could backfire but i doubt it with Marquez’s skilled, steady, and explosive fists. however, the potentially-huge payday aside, i’d rather Marquez not fight Pacquiao* again. Tim Bradley is a much better target and depending on what the shell-shocked Pacquiao* does in his bout v. Rios, they can meet one last time, same time, next year. in the meantime, Marquez IS Better than Pacquiao*.Posted December 11, 2012 3:51 am
