I hope you’re correct, Rachman may still have the tools…Posted August 20, 2012 1:43 am

its a shame it wasnt holyfield fighting cos i feel he would do a number on povetkin. Rahman though? he was once a very serious fighter but now i think its too late. good luck to the guy thoughPosted August 19, 2012 7:37 am
RAY GORDON REID
HASIM RATHMANPosted August 19, 2012 6:39 am
haye would destroy povetkin, but wont get a fight with him. i can only hope rahman knocks him out. (and i am not a fan of haye or rahman…)Posted August 18, 2012 4:03 am
Rahman: No you won’t.Posted August 17, 2012 7:27 pm
Pov should knock out this over the hill HW. How did Rahman get a shot anyway??
Povetkin should not even have a title in the first place. he only got his title by ducking a Klit. brother anyway.Posted August 17, 2012 3:18 pm
then maybe they should fight each other instead of living off of the American heavyweights of the past who have made a name for themselves.Posted August 17, 2012 3:17 pm
Popkins – Boycott Pacquiao v Bradley 2
….hhhhmmmmmm. I very much doubt it. In Rahman’s prime, like ten years ago, a Rahman/Pov fight would have been worth watching, quite competitive. Not now.Posted August 17, 2012 2:51 pm
And I might win the lottery :roll:Posted August 17, 2012 2:50 pm
Povetkin will destroy rahman. Easy win for the champion, all rahman wants was a payday I dont think he is intrested in the titlePosted August 17, 2012 2:13 pm
Pulev, Fury, Price, Ustinov, Haye, Helenius, Dimitrenko, Gerber, and Charr all stink? I don’t think so.Posted August 17, 2012 2:10 pm
Povetkin is forced to fight an aging American heavyweight, because out side of the Klitschkos most of the young European heavyweights kind of stink.Posted August 17, 2012 12:54 pm
let’s just hope rahman lands somethingPosted August 17, 2012 12:36 pm
I’m less worried about Rahman’s attitude than I am Povetkin’s unwillingness to take a meaningful fight.
This fight is a joke. Of course Povetkin is in a cheery mood. This fight will be the equivalent of a walk in the park.
But here’s to hoping he trips in the park.Posted August 17, 2012 12:13 pm
Also, EU?Posted August 17, 2012 11:43 am
This is just a payday for Rahman.Posted August 17, 2012 9:53 am
Delusional and only in it for the payday. As for Pov, Huck beat him. He is also a loser.Posted August 17, 2012 8:37 am
I used to like Rahman. Hes been in with everyone, but nowadays hes waaaaay past it. A prime Rahman would destroy this twatt but now…i think its all about some extra money for him…Posted August 17, 2012 6:59 am
Pitty the fool
Rahman, the biggest loser in Hw boxing in terms of what was tangibly in front of him!
I can sympathize with Rahman about the poster. After all, which one of the two has actually ever been heavyweight champion of the world?Posted August 17, 2012 3:06 am
KS says it’s an exciting fight and that the winner will get shot at Wlad……….well, he’ll be dead wrong if Rahman captures lightning in a bottle, because there is no way in hell that Wlad is giving Rahman another fight. He doesnt have enough time left in his career to string together a handful of solid wins to even become relevant again.
Seriously though…..If Sasha is fit to fight hard for 12 rds, Rahman aint winning.Posted August 17, 2012 2:46 am
IF Rahman comes in below 240 and has EXCELLENT conditioning he MIGHT win. :roll:Posted August 16, 2012 10:51 pm
Agreed, he showed a heap of promise in his early career.
Povetkin is such a disappointment. He started his career out great, but by refusing to fight a Klitschko I can’t take him seriously. I also think Huck won their fight. But with that being said Rahman is too far past it. Povetkin by TKO.Posted August 16, 2012 8:13 pm
Brazilian Boxing Fan
I think Povetkin will win.Posted August 16, 2012 8:04 pm
Who is the bigger joke? The wba “champ” Povetkin or the washed up never was Rahman back for yet one more shot…. How does the “champ” waste a year and get up for a fight like this? Answer: a paltry paycheck. Pathetic.Posted August 16, 2012 7:57 pm
pffft. Rahman couldn’t beat many in the top 100 let alone the povetkin, who, while a puss, is still a solid fighter. Povetkin TKO 4. Hopefully Rahman will then retire but I am sure he will not.Posted August 16, 2012 7:49 pm
Yeah sure Rahman and tonight Eva Mendes will feed me grapes in bed.Posted August 16, 2012 7:44 pm
Rahman is very much like Toney – A comedian making a joke statement.Posted August 16, 2012 7:26 pm
Another wannabe American being schooled by a EU boxer.Posted August 16, 2012 7:20 pm
