I think Wilder has potential, BUT, he has been brought along very slowly and fed absolute bums that none of us have heard of. To dwarf the last sentence; he looked very unpolished and wild like a tough man contestant against those bums. He’s now fighting a guy that is gonna pop back and has fought and beat known decent and pretty decent fighters as well as very tall ones. They are both 6’7″ but I think Wilder is a bit of a slow learner and/or has been moved along too slowly. This boy he’s fighting tomorrow night is a love body that will be ready to scrap with good wins and a decently polished boxing skill set. To make it short… This has all the makings of an upset/exposing of Deontay Wilder.

Bernie, there is a real chance that what you said could happen. I think HBO has helped that because they won’t show euro boxers, even if they are champions. This blocks people from seeing the sport and inspiring the young.

I wassn’t aware that Steward thought so highly of Wilder. Maybe he saw something that most don’t? In any event, 25 KOs in 25 fights must mean something, even if most of his opponents are stew-bums.

It seems the hype in on Wilder. No one is paying any attention to Price. Price may give Wilder a boxing lesson. Wouldn’t that be humorous. The only thing that anyone says about Wilder is he will KO price. Wilder might have to box 10 rounds. Price should patiently take him into deep water. Wilder has never danced 10 rounds.

Let’s wait and watch. Where DW is technically-wise. Sparrings with the legendary champ Wladimir Klitschko will certainly help DW in future.
