But for Oquendo, it’s all about foot movement, defense, quick countering, and manuevering to the sides. That’s how he deals successfully with bigger guys. Too bad the recent Oquendo-Walker proposal fell through: Fres would have put on a clinic against his massive opponent. Regarding the Klitschkos, Fres is no less worthy of a shot than Mormeck, Sosnowski, Charr, etc.

Fres is fastest enough and unorthodox enough to beat anybody who is not sleeping with the judges.

Thanks for the appearance Tommy Boy, I forgot your name but you’re indeed the nutcase from Oquendo’s camp who was missing. As a result this thread went from dull, like Oquendo’s boxing style, to amusing and slightly deranged, so at least you accomplished that. Next time you report to your case manager at the welfare office you can tell them you didn’t have time to apply at McDonald’s because you were busy being “amusing and slightly deranged.”

Oquendo would be wise not to call out to K-brothers. First he should take a heavy-weight his own size. somebody like Adamek and even Haye would be better.

wow – that was am impressive performance right there. Fres looks like a much improved fighter. Hawkins is very durable and that took some doing to dismantle him like that. I think oquendo is a handful for any heavyweight out there judgeing from this performance

I wish him well; but I can’t see him beating either of the brothers. He MIGHT get lucky with Vitali; but with Wladimar; FORGET ABOUT IT!!!!!

LOL you guys evidently were smoking the Purple Urkle before posting tonight. Oquendo beating either K Bro is laughable. He’d run around like a spaz and hold excessively trying to avoid getting his head knocked off. And where’s that nutcase from his camp? Only reason I ever read Oquendo stories is to read his crazy rants.

Fres Oquendo is where it’s at as far as American boxing is concerned. He might not be able to handle the younger Klit-bro, but I can see him beating Vit-Klit, whose body is breaking down again. They should give the proud Puerto Rican warrior a title shot. Fres is as deserving as any heavyweight out there and more so than most.

Ive said before he is the best heavyweight in the USA and would destroy most heavyweights and would povetkin a really tough fight for his title. That would be good to see

Fast Frez has been robbed by the judges so many times in his career I’m sure he feels he has to KO everybody he fights. I would like to see him get a shot against a top ten fighter. I don’t think any of the up and comers would risk a bout with him.

I think Oquendo would be too much for Mitchell. We already know from the Zack Page fight that Seth has major trouble with cuties, and Fres is even more elusive than Page. Further, it’s clear from the Ibragimov and Witherspoon fights that Seth can be tagged repeatedly by rights. Oquendo obviously has a good right hand. I see upset written all over Mitchell vs Oquendo if it ever happens.

he could be a very tough fight for SethMitchel, his speed maype to much or SethMitchel.

Fair play to Oquendo, hope I see his next fight.

There are a dozen or more veteran heavyweights calling out the Klitschkos. It is a pity that their various managers and promoters can’t get them to fight each other until the best of the lot emerge. Instead, they remain inactive or active only against grade c and d fighters and hope the German promoters will call. Let’s see some heavyweight fights that are competetive. Solis, Kingpin, Oquendo, Toney, Holyfield and so many others are all calling for title shots. So fight each other. Let’s see them earn a shot.
