Same old rush forward Khan. Hasn’t changed a bit. Ready for the canvass at any time.

Khan has been knocked out 2x and lost 3 times during a career that is just shy of 30 bouts… Floyd Mayweather is a 5 division Champion who has remained undefeated thru 43 bouts these two fighters don’t belong in the same breath… The guys stopping Khan are NOT Great fighters Garcia is a good young fighter, Prescott is a nobody beyond knocking out Khan.. Lets keep perspective

I am definitely in the minority here but I’m not so sure that Amir has a dud chin,or he just doesn’t know what to do when he gets dropped. The two punches that have waxed him were really great punches. He did the same thing in both fights, jumped up straight away and tried to look like he’d tripped……he should have shown some ring savvy, taken the full count, then hugged his opponent till they separated them with a crow-bar….In both those fights he was the better boxer and should have won.You don’t have to be taught these things, you should know them yourself,no need to blame someone else or change trainers to make yourself look innocent. You are the one who has to change, shed some of the arrogance and self pity….You’ve got the knowledge and skill, stop trying to be an icon….

Boxtra- Congratulations. What are the chances you of finding a deaf & blind girl(?) dumb enough to chance clouding her(?) already foggy gene pool? I guess it is the end of the world.

Khans issues are not based in talent they are based in durability, he is gutsy and he wants to be Great but he needs to acknowledge a few facts… His chin is NOT top flight, he does NOT have one punch power and he might need to throw 2 or 3 good shots like Mayweather then get out because he susceptible to hard counters…. Molina was an appropriate return bout, a smaller guy with ONLY 7 stoppages but Khan is suddenly starting to discuss knocking out Garcia, so his ego is on the way towards setting him up for failure again…He would have beat Molina, with Roach, Mayweather, Hunter, McGirt, Garcia or pretty much any other trainer in his corner… Khans got a long way to go in order to reestablish himself.

khan would have beat this guy molina no matter who was training him . molina is a brave smaller guy without that big ko punch. we will see latter down the line if khan has picked up his defense

Posted December 16, 2012 7:54 pm

Good confidence builder for Khan. He was in with a much smaller light punching light weight, who could not hurt him. Molina caught Khan with several good clean shots that had no effect. I believe Khan will have 4 or 5 similar bouts to pad his resume before putting him in against a very good true 140 pounder. When this happens, bye bye sleep time for Khan. There have been many talented fighters with glass for a chin who had great success, but who could control their ego’s which Khan has not been able to do himself. Bye the way the Leonard the shoe shine routine is crap he should stop doing, it’s where he will get knocked out.

While Khan was more patient, he got caught with the types of left hooks Garcia caught him with (who is bigger, rangier and more powerful). Basically, I see the same scenario occurring between Garcia and Khan. Khan gets caught in an exchange and gets knocked out. The issue is that Khan likes to shoot off combos which look great but leave him open to guys who can counter. As long as he uses combos, he’ll beat less talented fighters but probably always lose to big punchers. Khan can try the 147lb weight class and see if the extra weight helps him absorb big shots.

Dammit I was in some puzzy last night and ended up missing the Fights but I see that Khan and Donaire WON by stoppage just as I predicted!! I am the GREATEST Fight Prophet ever born!!!

Our Gonzo, which art in heaven,
Hallowed be thy Name.
Thy Kingdom come.
Thy will be done in earth,
As it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses,
As we forgive them that trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation,
But deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom,
The power, and the glory,
For ever and ever.
Amen.

I don’t remember him starting a slug fest, he got caught with one shot and that’s all she wrote… Will Hunter make sure he doesn’t get caught on the counter against every fighter as he got caught a few times last night against a feather fisted lightweight. Are they building a force field for him to protect his china chops? Don’t get me wrong Garcia isn’t a great fighter, but he’s a level above Khan… He just needs to find another 2 or 3 lightweights who are a foot shorter with no bang and another world title fight against an Ewok and he’ll be ready for Mayweather again. NOT! Can’t understand why you believe the BS that comes from this hype machine.

SOG does a complete 360 and demands that the guy he said was the ONLY fight out there for him after the Super Six and the one he WANTED to fight now has to prove himself first. lol. Like when you proved yourself prior to getting gifted your place in the Super Six, Andre? lol. You’d only beaten the ghost Edison Miranda’s shot grandfather and done absolutely nothing to warrant your inclusion in the competition. Funny how they left out the number 2 ranked guy in the division, the undefeated reigning IBF champion no less, eh?

Khan looked good in beating an over matched punching bag, but he still is open to big counters. Which probably means he’ll do good until he gets hit with another bomb. The thing with Khan is, he’s proved that he can beat most fighters, until he get caught. So if he doesn’t get caught he stands a good chance of beating most. If he dropped his offense down a notch, and worked on protecting his chin, he would be even harder to beat. I doubt that will happen though.

boob man- We comment on His fights because we hate the hype machines and love when we are proven right. Ask yourself, why did he never try to obtain a rematch with Breidis Prescott?? Why not redeem himself? I guess the old adage applies…. “He who fights and runs away may live to fight another day”!!!!

Posted December 16, 2012 12:10 pm

brian lee- As soon as Kahn fights someone his weight class or any of the Level B Jr Welterweights he will fold. He truly is nothing but a hype machine. Even his mates on the Sky Sports network were skeptical and they were trying to give Kahn the benefit of the doubt! If matched carefully he might have one year left in the sport, which is what Golden Boy more than likely planning on doing. I can even guaranty as soon as they match him up with any top 5 JR welterweight his career will be over.

Posted December 16, 2012 11:55 am

khan would beat garcia in a rematch hunter will make sure he does not get carried away and khan would just outbox him as he was doing before he got silly and started a slug fest which is when he got sparked. Khan is a quality boxer these muppet haters should get a life. If they dont like him why are they always commenting on his fights!

brian lee… You clearly don’t understand boxing if you though that fight last night was in the least bit entertaining or even vaguely interesting. That was a sparing session against a horribly mismatched opponent. Khan doesn’t come to fight, he comes to run around the ring and push and pull his opponent around, failing that get ktfo when he fights anyone near the same size/weight as him.

Couldnt wait to get up this morn to read all the crap from the Khan haters. If this guy took on both the Klit brothers together & KOd them they would give him no credit. Its plain that these haters have never been fighters themselves as they have no idea off boxing skill .This guy always comes to fight.Puts on a good show. And was probably ahead on points against Garcia when he got caught with the neck punch.
I suppose these same haters think that Pac man is crappy also as he,s been KOd a few times & lost his last couple of fights.Haters stick to a sport you understand.Leave the hate stuff alone,As you surely dont appreciate a good boxer when you see one.
Come now boys .Now you can vent your hate on me.

khan tries to insult the boxing public fighter fighters whgo are mismatched size wise and punchwise then expects us all to blown way by him theis m,olina was undeafeated but he is a lightweight and has no punch power,i hope he fights garcia gets koed and then goes away and stop trying to insult us fight fans that know what he is

First off whats with these boxers and trainers once there referred to as ” The Professor ” they start wearing Professor like glasses. As if there a walking knowledge of intelligence. What a krock ! Referring to Virgil Hunter. As for Amir he’s a bit more patient and careful but as the rounds go by his power drops dramaticly. He is no Mayweather thats for sure.
