Hehehe, John Ruiz… man, that guy was horrific to watch. I was actually happy to see him go in with Valuev coz I knew it meant he’d have a fight where he couldn’t clinch.

watch the fight where he schooled lara, dont let ONE fight(against kirkland) cloud your thinking of molina style, he’s no nor ever will be a john ruiz

I meant to say and Trout moving around in circles.

That wouldn’t be a fight, it would be a dance off with Molina trying to make it a Bolero and moving around in circles. I do think Molina would beat Trout, but then again, I think most of the top guys would too.

Molina (like a fair few other fighters I can think of) wouldn’t be any danger at all to top-tier guys if refs would do their job and crack down on using clinching (hugging) as a constant tactic. It’s an illegal spoiling tactic and is nothing more than a way to avoid actually fighting… if a fighter is hurt, I don’t have a big issue with it (i.e. it’s survival instincts), but when it’s a part of your overall strategy (i.e. punch and hold, punch and hold), it’s just plain cheating.
If you want to grapple, go fight in MMA and see how well it works for you.

I saw him fight and he looked very slow and tired. he does’t have chance with lara this time.

Molina holds way to much. Not big on Trout neither but Molina is not feared by anybody. He is boring and holds to much

FEARS

The contrast of styles make a great fight between those two guys.

I agree with you Shell…this would be a solid old fashioned type of fight..good for boxing

I thought Trout looked like the next big thing, until his last fight which was unimpressive. Trout vs Molina would be a good matchup and a good test for both of them.

Atta-Boy Carlitos! Let it be Known. you’re the Man the rest are desperate to avoid. all Molina can market and exploit IS his risk factor, which only increases his demand among fight-fans. besides, his”phone is fully charged, waiting for a call”. Make-It-Happen, Trout, Lara, Kirkland, Quintana, etc. Step-Up Punks . . .
