Keep chuckling , that was what ,
8-9 nine years ago ? Ever wonder what Wlad would do to Corrie, if he got him in the ring now ? Or are you just good at chuckling ?

Name three fighters greater than the fabulous Chuck Wepner . I can just imagine what he would do to the Klitchko Brothers , if he got his hands on them ! Yet , Ali managed somehow to finaly knock him down , with 19 seconds left in the 15 th round ! Who says he’s not the ” Greatest ” ?

Posted August 29, 2012 7:15 pm

Mr Rubes

2slick you idiot. Big difference. Straight after Puritty beat Wlad he would win only 3 of his next NINE fights, including a TKO loss to Vitali. Sanders would get KTFO by Vitali just after Wlad, win 3 more against tamatoe cans and then KTFO in 1 by another tamatoe can. And Byrd would lose convincingly in his next fight to Wlad just after the Vitali fight. IF all you named actually kept on winning then of course a rematch would have been inevitable. But at the time a rematch did NOT make sense. The COWARDLY LION Lewis, on the other hand, was ORDERED to fight Vitali and he RAN. So a rematch that DID make sense could not happen because of the colour YELLOW.

Wach has a better chance than Charr against a Klitchiko, but personally I expect both Klitstchikos to win. Rather amusing to see how some people call others names just because they do not agree with them. Normally one would be happy they are being give a opinion different their own, so they can get another perceptive to campare with their own. Just wondering

Ban corrupt judges

Both guys are very slow which mean they have zero chance . Neither represents a threat whatsoever.
To beat a K Bros require a minimum of both speed and power.

I wouldn’t think either Charr or Wach will see a top ten ranking after these fights.

and it is okay with the anti K-Bros Mofos. That’s all. What goes around comes around. They all do it. So what, shut up and enjoy the fight.

Vitali has never been knocked down but i am actually begining to think a prime Wlad even with a suspect chin would beat a prime Vitali. Wlad is faster with his hands, faster on his legs and despite Vitali having a higher ko ration Wlad hits harder. Vitali would be better on the inside in a slug fest but wlad would most likely control the fight and keep it at distance. I am beginning to think Wlad may become the GOAT

Posted August 24, 2012 9:07 am

wach is freaking dangerous, charr is the biggest bum out there. All respect to wlad for facing wach but vitali facing “charred bum” is disgraceful. Vitali through his whole career has only ever faced two tall boxer-punchers….lennox lewis and timo hoffman and those two fights really tested vitali and were epic. It is a real shame vitali has not fought more tall power boxers, all respect to wlad, wach will be a test, a new challenge and maybe at least for 4-5 rounds a hard entertaining fight. Hopefully wlad will face more tall guys in the future like helenius, ustinov, fury and price when they are ready

Both these guys cant win in a k-bros match up.But Charr has better all around skills Wach has no real skills.Wach is over 30 with junk fights on his record Charr will do more in boxing overall but will never be champ.

It does and always will hurt Wlad that he never rematched Sanders and to a lesser extent Purity, I say lesser extent because he simply gassed against the American whereas he got smashed from Pillar to post by Sanders.

Bill (KlichKO brothers are the best REAL HEAVYWEIGHTS ever)

IT’S CLEAR. CHARR, because Vitaliy is a 41 years old boxer, who are not fast and not a hard puncher. At least no more. As I see the situation, Vladimir KlichKO at this stage is obviously the best real heavyweight ever, the most dangerous one ever, he is a murderous puncher (the best one ever) and fantastically fast and agile, add to this his brilliant defense, and HUGE EXPERIENCE ON THE HIGHEST LEVEL (In fact he is the most experienced real heavyweight ever). Vladimir KlichKO is a living legend and actually a ring veteran. UNCLE VLAD IS IN HIS ABSOLUTE PRIME TIME NOW. No chance for anybody, not just for Wach.

NO ONE is afraid of haye.

Charr’s best win was not his stoppage victory over a shot Danny Williams but either his point decisons over Pedro Carrion or Taras Bidenko.
Yes,Wach wiped the floor with no-hopers like McBride and other outstanding names.Whoever has seen some of the Poles’ fight will certainly agree with me that Charr would probably beat Wach 9 out of 10 times..
Besides Gavern recently stated in an interview that Wach’s punch is overrated and that he doesnt have any real pop in his fists.
Charr will probably get knocked out in his fight with Vitaly, but he will make it a fight and fight his heart out that night.
Wach will probably get stopped within 5-6 rounds in a dull fight.

Chap69=Povetkin doesn’t fight Wlad because he knows he would lose and the WBA don’t force the issue because they would rather get sanctioning fees from two belt holders. It is all about the money those crooks like to keep coming in.

Posted August 23, 2012 4:45 pm

Torgo

Can’t blame the Klitschkos for not fighting anybody because the top shelf contenders who have yet to fight a Klitschko keep saying “not ready yet”. Somebody might get the idea that those guys will be ready when the big Ukrainians retire from the ring. And then there’s David Haye, who talked his way into a title fight but when he was actually in the ring with Vladimir, Haye looked as courageous as Dick Cheney during the Vietnam war.

Povetkin will get Knocked Out if he faces Wlad.
He knows this and advise from Theodore Atlas
also trumps and ideas of facing Wlad. Povetkin
won’t do it. A good fight for Povetkin would be
Evander Holyfield. Povetkin fades in the later
rounds and might have trouble with Holy also.
Holy might take Povetkin on stamina and will.

Why doesn’t Povetkin get a shot as he’s the number one contender, i don’t understand how he defends his plastic title without getting to fight Wladimir for the main one !

Posted August 23, 2012 2:45 pm

Dr. Bill

The Klitschkos are admirable for a number of reasons, but surely one of them is their pure professionalism – the way, for example, that Wladimir treated his losses to Sanders and Brewster as a learning experience, made adjustments, and worked his way back to the top. Not many fighters would come back, as he did, from two ko defeats in close succession. They don’t have many losses on their records in any event, and with the exception of Wladimir’s early loss to Purrity, all their losses have been to fighters who were first-rate (Lewis, Brewster, Byrd) or capable of being first-rate (Sanders). I don’t find them to be boring fighters at all – their over-matched opponents are the ones who make their fights boring. When they are faced by good big fighters willing to fight – as they were in their losses to Lewis and Brewster, and in Wladimir’s first fight with Peter – their fights are entertaining. Their problem – in my view – has been chiefly the lack of professionalism among the majority of the contenders they have faced – look at the out-of-shape physiques of some of them – Solis, say – and the vulgar machismo of others – Chisora, Haye, etc. I don’t rate either Klitschko quite as high as Lewis in his prime, but they are surely not far behind, which puts them, I believe, in the top ten of all-time heavyweights.

Posted August 23, 2012 2:11 pm

Robo Writer

Vitali fights mostly no-hopers? Not quite. Vitali has defended against the best available opponents, such as Arreola, Solis, and Gomez, and Adamek. After clearing out top opposition, Vitali is certainly entitled to some easy fights. It’s not Vitali’s fault that he and Baby Bro. have run out of top opponents.

Posted August 23, 2012 11:59 am

Robo Writer

But Wepner was ranked 10th worldwide by Ring Magazine at the time, and was generally borderline top-10 with the other magazines and alphacrooks. He was also on a nine fight winning streak. There was nothing wrong Ali making this defense. True, Wepner was the absolute worst of the available ranked contenders, but he was ranked (at that moment), at the least. All great champs deserve easy defenses every once and a while, particularly if they’re defending against all opposition.

If we’re going to be as black and white as “Lewis ran from Vitali because Vitali had his number etc” then “Vitali ran from Byrd and Wlad ran from Sanders – cos dem git dey numbah, herp derp”. Irrespective of the fact that Lewis, at the arse end of his career, actually pulled out the ‘W’ with a face shredding TKO in 6 rounds

The same old tired nonsense. I didn’t see Wlad giving anything back to Sanders, neither Vitali to Byrd. Oh and as for Lennox – TKO6.

Posted August 23, 2012 11:35 am

Yes Ali Wepner was bad but Ali really is the worng guy to reference to defend the Klitschko brothers making soft defences. Ali has possibly the richest resume at the weight. Beyond the fights against the greats Frazier, Foreman, Norton, Liston, Patterson he also beat top contenders. There’s far more wheat than chaff on his resume, Ellis, Quarry, Chuvalo, Terrell, Mildenberger, Young, Folley – top names – the list goes on and on. For Vitali in particular his record is guys mostly on the level of this Charr no hoper.

Isn’t it oxymoronic to question who has “a chance” against a Klitschko brother? At this rate, I think Greenpeace or some other wildlife protection group will have to get involved in boxing. The Klitschkos fighting anyone is no different from hunters clubbing baby seals. The K Bros are invincible.

Charr has no chance of winning. He is Arab. They need to be 10 men with knives against a single man to win. Just watch the streets of bigger EU cities. Arabs also loses all their wars as countries. Very very low moral.

Forgot to add – it then allows people who don’t really understand how the boxing business works to write “so and so REFUSED to fight so and so”, and as most people seem to have 5 second attention spans these days, that then snowballs until it’s all that is remembered.

Of course he refused, he was offered a prohibitive contract. It’s a common tactic when you don’t want to fight someone – offer a contract for a pittance, with options, so that the opponent has no choice but to decline and try to raise his profile and strengthen his position. Which Haye has done by easily KO-ing the guy Vitali couldn’t. Haye should be up next, but I’m guessing he won’t be. Vitali won’t fight anyone who actually has a chance.

Posted August 23, 2012 8:41 am

Haye REFUSED to fight Vitali, because he got a higher payday for Chisora. Don’t twist the facts (aka lieing).

Simple. it’s Charr, by a mile. Wach – 0.0001% (freak injury), Charr 3% (injury).

Both Wach and Charr have close to zero chance of victory but nothing in boxing is 100 percent. Both brothers should win by KO likely after about 8 rounds.Neither is known for early finishes.

Posted August 23, 2012 7:45 am

Neither fighter has a snowball’s chance in hell – easy defences for the Klit bros as they milk their fanbase. Charr is there because he’s an easy fight for an old man too scared to fight Haye, and Wach is there because he’s a Pole and will do sell a lot of tickets in Germany. Neither deserves a shot, and neither has a chance.

Posted August 23, 2012 7:34 am

chitownfightfan

Wach came up late in the game, and has only even surfaced in the past 2 yrs. In those 2 yrs, vs journeymen and Clevel fringe contenders he is 6-0 with 6 KOs. In his last 3, all vs notable, albeit bottom tier top 100 fighters, he’s 3-0 3KOs. His LOC is actually BETTER than Cris Arreolas over the same course of time, and yet that is the fight we all want. ROFL.

Charr………………Well, I think that has something to do with the future. I think Vitali looked at the list of healthy, undefeated prospects, still S of 30, will hope that after his KO of Rocky, that Charr will rebound and have a solid career as a future contender/potential champion who was not green, but not quite prime.
