My final thought, Reid has failed to submit a budget in a record 1350 days now. Twist it any way you want, a fact is a fact. Just one of MANY examples of poor leadership. Just pitiful. Tard, GFY.

btw, the majority of the “jobs added” are low level service type jobs that won’t support a family, unless of course a husband is able to work three shifts at McDonalds, and the wife can work two, and they live in their car.

It would be great if your delusions were true, but not unlike EVERYTHING else you throw out there, it’s just more of the world according to Tard. Barry said he would have to have it straightened out in three years of his first term or he would be a one and done president. For his sake there are still enough believers out there to get him reelected regardless of his shortcomings. I voted for him the first time, but refused to for a second term due to his inability to get things done. Clinton and even rotten Ronnie were able to bring the parties together and accomplish what was needed in a bipartisan way. This presidential campaign was directed to the “what can you give us?, you know the entitled ones” group, and it worked. Come back in four years douche-nozzle when we are well over 20 trillion in debt and bankrupt, no more checks for your kind, then report how you like it.

LMAO…. None of your wing nut diatribe is true.. The GOP won’t vote on the budgets Obama presents so we’ve been doing continuing resolutions. We were losing 800,000 jobs a month when Bush left a massive financial mess for Obama to clean up.. We’ve been adding an average of 160,000 jobs for over 40 straight months of job growth.. That has brought the unemployment rate down from 11% to 7.7%.. Obviously there a still millions of Americans unemployed and underemployed.. That’s where the tax cuts for small business, the export bank, federal reserve policy, and focus on education and manufacturing are starting to pay off.. We are just starting to gain traction, like we were early in Bill Clinton’s first term.. We’ll need another Democratic president to be in 2 terms, and then get one more term to get going … Like Franklin Roosevelt and Harry Truman needed 5 terms to crawl out of the mess created by Harding, Coolidge, and Hoover.

Wow, you really don’t have a clue. I saw it on some website so it must be true-LMFAO! Again, no budget for the last three years, hundreds of thousands of jobs have now gone overseas during his watch, record unemployment statistics, spent more that any other president in his first term than any two term president, claims to have more leeway to world leaders after his re-election, lied about Bengazi, has a cabinet full of criminals, has Bozo the clown for a VP, failed as a leader, our national credit rating gets embarrassingly lowered in front of the whole world, needs to raise the ceiling for spending, borrows 46 cents on every dollar spent, higher percentage of children living in poverty, heading us into probably a 22 trillion dollar debt by the end of his term that my great grand kids will inherit and have to figure a way to pay for the travesty called the Obama years.

Part of the information on that site includes — “President Obama knows we can’t simply cut our way to prosperity. His budget includes investments in education, manufacturing, and infrastructure, while bringing discretionary spending to its lowest level as a share of the economy in more than 50 years. President Obama has put forward a specific, balanced plan of spending cuts and revenue increases that reduce the deficit by more than $4 trillion over the next decade—including $1 trillion in spending cuts he signed into law last summer as part of a deal with congressional Republicans”

Under our system the minority can block almost any bill they want from even being voted on. They can claim the majority isn’t passing anything. This is the GOP’s constant tactic. A parlimentary system works better with the lack of cooperation in the last 4 years..

Posted January 8, 2013 12:55 am

It’s Me, Ernie

Absolutely wrong and jaded, as usual. Hell Obama and his posse hasn’t even had a budget in the last three years, which is TOTALLY on them and has nothing to do with the GOP. Please let the adults talk.

Posted January 7, 2013 11:55 pm

Bull… Obama cut the annual deficit from 1.6 trillion the year he inherited it to 1.1 trillion this year.. Obama has offered cuts in social security, medicare, and defense…and where he has presidential powers Obama cut discretionary spending to a level below where it’s been for 6 decades. The GOP won’t go along with Obama’s budget cuts or specify exactly what cuts they will agree to.. They’re posturing and offering voucher programs for medicare. The same kind of crap they offered when they controlled the White House and both houses of congress under Bush — and did nothing but jack up deficit spending and destroy the economy.

I’m not lower class you ridiculous ass… I’m one of those paying a lot more because of the expiration of Bush tax cuts for higher earners. They need to expire those rates for people making over 250,000 like Obama wants because we need more revs … You’re a jerk who decides what other people think. Clinton didn’t think we could spend our way out of debt and brought us a surplus.. Bush and the GOP didn’t care and used a credit card for 2 wars and the Medicare drug benefit.. We pay the interest on the debt which is unbelieveable and unsustainable.. Any country that’s gotten as indebted as ours has been devastated by hyper-inflation.. That would destroy the US dollar as the world’s reserve currency. Economic growth with no recessions for 20 years is the only way out — regardless of where we put tax rates … Fat chance of that happening. Things were bad when Clinton took over but are nearly impossible now.

Try not to sound so pitiful in your weak responses, it just makes everyone else’s case for them. And no, the Kenyan and his cohorts have been on a spending spree for four years with no end in site. Redistribution of finances is getting expensive and hard on lower class folks such as yourself. You must be one of the naive ones who actually think an economy can spend it’s way out of debt.

You’re an idiot Ernie. What do Al Gore’s business transactions have to do with US tax policy? He’ll do the best for himself and his associates as he can under current law. If he paid millions more in taxes it wouldn’t make a dent in the federal budget, but hurt Gore.

Warren Buffett takes full advantage of tax laws for businesses he oversees that employ over 200,000 people because he needs to do the best he can for millions of share holders. Buffett was slammed by fellow billionaires for saying rich people should pay more in taxes. They suggested he send a check to the federal government for 20 billion dollars since he could afford it. He said, “That would cover deficit spending for a week. If everyone paid a fair tax rate we could pay off federal taxpayer debt in 20 years and cut tax rates. I’m not looking for short term solutions.” That’s being practical not ideological.

Posted January 4, 2013 5:30 pm

TARK

Gore is taking advantage of the tax laws as they exist. As any sane person would.

Warren Buffett takes advantage of our tax laws too… He runs businesses that employ 200,000 people. He’s responsible for doing the best he can for millions of share holders… But he always said billionaires like himself should pay a much higher rate in taxes…

He gets slammed by other billionaires who tell him to write a 20 billion dollar check to the federal government if he doesn’t think he’s paying enough. Buffett replies, “That would take care of deficit spending for a week, but if everyone paid a fair rate we could pay off the federal debt in 20 years and then cut taxes for everybody. I’m not interested in short term solutions.”

Posted January 4, 2013 4:06 pm

TARK

BTW… Had we PAID OFF federal taypayer debt on the trajectory Bill Clinton put us on, the average yearly savings for each US taxpayer—just by not having to pay interest on 19 TRILLION DOLLARS, would be an average of over 11,000 dollar in yearly savings by 2016.. That’s a lot of money you could use to do things other than paying interest on T-Bills and Bonds held by very rich people… Bush and the GOP put America into an impossible budget mess.

Posted January 3, 2013 1:42 pm

TARK

Funny thing… Republican congressmen always talk about cutting “spending” but never actually cut anything—or tell anyone where they want to cut. Obama actually went through the budget line by line and specified over 400 billion dollars in suggested cuts for congress. The Republcans used that to try to scare voters by running millions of dollars of lying TV ads saying Obama wanted to cut their medicare and social security benefits. That’s the problem. You suggest cuts in spending anywhere or adjustments in elegibility standards, and you’re attacked with TV ads aimed at those constituencies in the next election cycle. One day they claim Obama is a socialist, and the next day claim he wants to take food out of your mother’s mouth.

Obama isn’t a liberal… And he’s no deviant pole smoker like you… He’s already reduced deficit spending by over 30% as a measure of GDP since taking over from pole smoker Bush—who inherited a huge budget surplus from Clinton with all US taxpayer debt scheduled to be paid off by 2010… Bush and the GOP destroyed that deal, cut taxes for billionaires 8 times, started 2 unpaid for wars, passed an unpaid for Medicare precription drug benefit, and allowed Wall Street to put America into The Great Recession—which destroyed tax revenues by a trillion dollars a year and increased payouts for unemployment by a trillion dollars… Look at American History and find out who was in power for 12 straight years as the Great Depression hit America.. The GOP of course.. Thankfully FDR and Harry Truman were able to fix things in 20 years.. This time Bush left America in a much worse mess.

They have their radar out for sexists and egomaniacs like you, so you would never make it to first base. Your comments about David Haye sound like something Dereck Chisora would say when he’s trying to impress a hot babe; and she says, “excuse me” and heads for the parking lot to try her luck at another club. Too many are overestimating Haye and underestimating Charr. Charr earned my respect in the Klitschko fight whereas Haye lost it. Arreola is a lot like Solis… He lacks ambition and a time table.. As long as he can make money by fighting people who are no threat to beat him he’ll do that.. I don’t see that his skills, shape, strength, cardio-conditioning, or weight are improving very much.. If all he wants to do is eat, drink, party, go clubbing, shop, and watch TV, he’ll never get any better than he was in his Adamek fight..

That fight told him he has a long way to go … and maybe he’s not up to it.

Posted December 30, 2012 9:35 pm

if areolla is in good shape adamek dont have a chance agains him I agree with you one that… for a cruizerweight to move up to heavyweight he must have a good k o. punch … ore a iron chin ….. atleast one of those two… adamek had a very good k.o. punch as light heavyweight as cruizerweight and now as a heavyweight he has prooven himself is a very good puncher and he can take a punch as wel he has a good chin… but those light hitters cunningham hernandez must have a good chin they must fight like a holyfield for example….. if they want to beat the klithkos ore pulev povetkin helenius char wilder chisora to be the new champ … if those cruizerweights can take a punch they have a chance…. that is my opinion

Posted December 30, 2012 8:54 pm

Lightweight Mike

Nonetheless Dutchman it could very well be in his future with his height and age to do like Cunningham and give it a try for a title shot at heavy, there’s money to be made up there.
Adamek got points against Arreola though I think he kind of lucked out and I’d go for CA in a rematch. But there have been a lot of contenders at heavy who were light hitters and did well in the past. At 6’4″ he could bulk up to 225 or 230 and possibly be stronger with it
too, though likely slower as well. But as I said, it’s merely conjecture on my part. You’re right about Cunningham, he’d be in trouble against some of these 250 pounder guys at his current weight. I can see him moving up but don’t get me wrong, I’m not a big fan of his nor obsessed with the idea, just making conversation.

hayes resume cannot speak for itself at heavyweight so he must speak for himself and try to talk himself into another fight. LOL………Calling haye the best is really pure subjectivity.

Enter The Hayemaker

Haye doesn’t need any eliminator fights, he’s right at the top of the contender tree. Next to the Klitschkos, Haye is the best heavyweight in the world, by quite a long way. That’s why he won’t bother with anyone but a Klitschko. He’d definitely knock Wladimir out in a rematch, and Wlad knows it….

24-9 Konstantin Airich was no “tough test”. He got KO’d for the 4th time, lost his 4th of 5 fights, and doesn’t have any real notable wins on his resume. Sure Charr can keep beating guys that are #75-#150 for little trinkets but that’s lame that he won’t even fight top 30 guys for those pieces of junk. Now he just wants the money aspect.
I’m not saying he is good or bad, it’s just if you watch his last fight he just throws some mediocre shots a flurry or so at a guy who can’t even take them with his gloves up and that overpowers the “challenger” so untill he fights some true solid prospects or contenders he doesn’t even deserve Haye. (Not that Haye deserves one of the brothers either- but at least he beat Chisora for starters…)

Posted December 30, 2012 2:45 pm

chitownfightfan

If Charr beats Chisora, which I think he should, he’ll have a solid resume at this point. Nothing wrong with being stopped by the Champ and then coming back with consecutive fights vs solid fighters. If he beats DelBoy, his stock will rise and maybe he can get Haye. The Germans spend to see their fighters rise, and Haye is all about money. Could be a potentially huge fight.

War Charr.

@DUTCHMAN, yeah maybe Hernandez is too weak for the division to become champ but he can beat Cunningham who can beat Adamek (a rematch of that one might be a good idea.) plus that’s likely a more profiable division for him as a contender rather than
as champ at cruiser. He has the height for it anyway, Just conjecture on my part.

Well the reality is —-NO ONE WANTS TO BE A HEAVYWEIGHT FIGHTER ANYMORE ! WHY…………………….Because eventually you have to face a Klistchko and lose ! NEVER IN THE HISTORY OF BOXING DID 2 PEOPLE HAVE THAT EFFECT ON A SPORT ! And thats the plain truth ! No top trainers will take a Heavy because where are you going to go ? Clearly you should be on a site for macrame makers and origama constructors cos your knwledge of boxing is non-existant. M. Charr is the most recent challenger for Vitali Klitchko’s world heavy weight title. Use Google, you will find out a lot more about them all. Until then….bugger off. Tyson, why does Haye deserve a break? He doesn’t earn his title shots in the ring but with his mouth. We will never even know how good a fighter he is because he will never prove it in the ring. Even at Cruiserweight he went after an older Mormek who had shown big time signs of slowing down, defended his title once vs a mediocre fighter and left. He has never shown himself in the ring to be good so we can’t admit to anything. He is exactly what is wrong with boxing.

He should fight the overated Adamek. Actually I think Vitali would beat Haye but he’s reached the age to retire and shouldn’t push it much longer. Right now Haye is looking at the bulging purse he would get if he fought VK first and winning the title second. He’d probably win it right now if it were vacant. Arreola would be a good one though, and Chris might just be able to take him. Don’t hear much from Solis. Man there weren’t many fights last night. Pulev, Povetkin, maybe Fury or Price. that would be really good opponents for Haye.these are also the guys lined up to fight Klitschko in 2013-2014 as they are earning it in the ring, unlike Haye. It’s really up to Haye though. With talking alone, he won’t get a fight with a Klit again I am afraid

Charr had his chance and he failed. I was impressed that he actually came to fight though. Most K-Bros opponents freeze when they get in the ring with them. Charr’s cut was bad, though I do believe that he should have been allowed to continue though. Unfortunately for him, he was well on his way of being stopped.

To fight Vitali, they had to be elected the Ukrainian parlament. They do box in there (check Youtube!), but Vitali, who observed the turmoil wearing a suit, didn’t participate. He would have murdered dozens of guys. :-D
So, with the WBC king out of the picture, the WBC prospects need to fight each other. That’s something Haye is not eager of. In the end, the best prospect will have to fight Vladimir who will try to unite the belts.

And of course Bluesman has earned the right to say that by the stunning record he crafted at the very top end of the heavyweight division…..

BLUESMAN says, “Haye and Charr both SUCK!” … They’re banking some big bucks.. More than most chicks get for sucking.

Haye is a great fighter… He’s a good boxer, good puncher, clever, conditioned, very strong, fast hands and feet, power in both hands. Charr may beat Chisora, that remains to be seen. Chisora is the first young heavyweight Charr will face who can really fight. Charr will not beat Haye in a 100 years—but he’s a real tough heavyweight who can punch so it will be a good fight while it lasts, just like Haye-Chisora was a good fight … Haye will never beat Wladimir, but he can do much better than his poor effort last time. The fight I would love to see is Haye vs Pulev.. In 2 or 3 years Pulev will be a great fighter—unfortunately he’s a lot older than I thought he was.. With only 17 professional fights I expected him to be a lot younger … but he poses a lot of problems for anybody, including Wladimir Klitschko.

Charr, shut the hell up.

I bet there is no chance of two things,

1, unfortunate, that vitali will fight again
2 fortunate, that haye gets in the ring with anyone of power in hw division. i am glad brits are generous enough to pay for being fooled but i personally get no pleasure watching haye fight. as Stuart pointed out, his main weapon, off-balance haymaker, is his only weapon, and is a weapon only against low skilled boxers.

i am looking for charr-mago

I bet Haye would make target practice of Charr.

I like what tark said but his chances. Shoot, itshard to make heads or tails of peoples “chances”. Or “odds”. But this wbc “world cup” is the first I’ve heard of it! Freaking stellar idea! I love it already. I got a weird feeling his charr guy is gonna smoke chisora and destroys the vaue of chisora’s scalp. A cou’de grat on chisora’s career.

There are better HW matches out there but since they are not being made, why not? There are a good 15 plus guys out there who should be fighting each other so within that context, there is no reason why this particular fight shouldn’t take place.

Dead right Tark! NOW we will see just how small David Hayes balls are! This is EXACTLY the sort of fight – and 3-4 of them – that Haye needs to take to earn and prove he is worthy of a challenge. All the talk in the world doesn’t mean he is, particularly not after he gutted out so horribly in the previous K-fight. I wonder what excuse the sycophants will come up with for Haye not taking this one?

Charr is moving fast… He just had a fight… He just signed to fight Chisora… He just called out David Haye… He just announced that he will be competing in the WBC World Cup.

I love his spirit, ambition, enterprise, and pace of action… but not his chances.

However—Boxing needs more Manuel Charr’s.
