Rigo and his fans should have a lot to thank Nonito for postponing his fight with the over-hyped cuban. Rigo’s career will last a little longer with this postponement . Meanwhile , he (Rigo) can earn some money by fighting a nobody like his previous eleven pro fights with sparring partners.Posted January 15, 2013 6:35 pm
If it quacks like a duck….Posted January 15, 2013 6:19 pm
Donaire: Us working stiffs can’t take 3 months off just because we’re having a kid. This is ridiculous. Go and do your job. Unless this is another ploy to avoid Rigondeaux.Posted January 15, 2013 6:18 pm
So make the for May.Posted January 15, 2013 5:03 am
Meh, his choice…he can afford it.Posted January 14, 2013 11:29 pm
DUCKERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR, NORIGO DUCKNAIRE HAS FOUND ANOTHER EXCUSE. HE DOESNT WANT RIGO , HE DOESNT . RIGO IS TO MUCH FOR THIS PHONY , HE IS HIDING BEHIND HIS WIFE NOW . JUST ANOTHER DUCK.Posted January 14, 2013 10:38 pm
Nonito trains for his fights but takes long breaks in between.. He has more weeks off in a year than you do.. A lot of boxer’s wives are producing babies.. A lot of those boxers are working day jobs as well as training.. Good for Nonito that he can afford to take so much time off during the most productive years of his career… That’s freakin’ GREAT.
Not so good for Guillermo Rigondeaux — or the fans who want to see them fight.Posted January 14, 2013 9:35 pm
Oh silly me, I forgot that when he isn’t fighting he’s just sitting around playing monopoly, sunbathing and watching paint dry. Anything but training. I do apologise. My bad.Posted January 14, 2013 7:07 pm
Just line em up!! Because Donaire will knock them down! He might be taking a lunchbreak here and there for such (Trivial items to haters) such as birth of children but otherwise he has been fighting legitimate contenders, and beltholders non-stop 3-4 times per year and in new weight classes, dominating for the most part.
She appeared to be the person who wore the pants in the house on the HBO interviews. She is good looking girl but acts too much like the dragon lady.Posted January 14, 2013 5:32 pm
32 fights in 12 years is the farthest thing from a 24/7 fight schedule—Donaire has had tons of time off and the formative years for his kids aren’t here yet.
Rigondeaux should fight Mares to position himself for Donaire—in the event Nonito decides to fight this year. He can fight whenever he wants whoever he wants, but it’s curious when a tough challenger appears how many excuses the biggest names in the business come up with. They want to milk their fame and position for as long as they can without risk, and mandatory opponents have never really been mandatory.Posted January 14, 2013 3:56 pm
Oh yes! Now he hides below the skirt of his woman …Posted January 14, 2013 3:26 pm
Anything to avoid Rigo.Posted January 14, 2013 3:17 pm
Kinda silly really.Posted January 14, 2013 2:14 pm
It’s Me, Ernie
Great, now Tard is giving financial advice to a millionaire. You’re not all bad though, your work in the Sodomy Rights Activism movement has been epic.Posted January 14, 2013 2:06 pm
With proper parenting, the child will grow up grounded and with the ability to earn its own house, cars, loans and designer clothes. And it certainly won’t get proper parenting with Donaire training and fighting 24/7 for your entertainment.Posted January 14, 2013 1:32 pm
Fair play to the guy, he’s putting his family first. He’s made huge amounts of money in his career already and will continue to do so after the birth. The fact that he is getting stick for this just shows how selfish and deluded most boxing fans are. He’s a human being, not a machine.Posted January 14, 2013 1:29 pm
So, schedule the fight for September… If he comes up with another excuse — then we know he’s hiding.Posted January 14, 2013 12:53 pm
Plus you don’t know exactly how many ex-wives you’re going to accumulate.Posted January 14, 2013 11:40 am
This is not good Nonito… It’s nice to be a good family man but your baby needs you to earn the best living you possibly can… You may have several more children and they all will need great educations, health insurance, business loans, bail-out loans, cars, clothes, houses … and just plain “stuff” they want to buy.
If you don’t believe me ask George Foreman.
Hopefully they’ll be more self-reliant than that—but you don’t know that right now. Not every kid is a Ken Norton Jr. unfortunately.Posted January 14, 2013 11:38 am
He doesn’t know where to hide … :-))Posted January 14, 2013 10:59 am
Come on man! Rigo is nothing but an untested / unproven professional fighter. His name doesn’t even worth mentioning side by side Donaire and Mares.Posted January 14, 2013 7:33 am
