Whoever runs Eastside should stop this twat from posting his troll articles! What a joke. Burns gets a unification bout, and he is ducking Broner? Don’t make me laugh, Ricky has wanted a unification bout and now he has it, and Vazquez is no tomato can, looking forward to a great fight. Should Ricky come through and have both belts, it puts him in a much stronger negotiating position with Broner, assuming Broner gets by Rees; he should but Rees is has a lot of heart and Broner should write him off at his peril.

It’s these kind of articles that make the rest of the world think that Americans are just full of s**t and are up their own backsides. Mis-informed and opinionated much?

I’m just beginning to wonder if you have left your laptop unlocked and someone has stiched you up, ha ha!

The problem with this reasoning is that the US is the worst country in the world without exception in recent times for bad decisions.

The worst, not even any argument.

You guys are joking if you really think Burns will face anyone who is a serious threat. This fight will not happen. It is a PR stunt by Team Burns to keep themselves in the news. Burns will continue to duck top fighters and will keep fighting washed up domestic level fighters and obscure eastern europeans. By late February this fight will get cancelled for some reason or other, trust me. And Burns will get an soft target from Poland or somewhere like that instead. Also, Burns will never, ever take a fight against Broner, no matter how much notice he is given. Burns is a ‘payday fighter’. He’s not a true champion and not a true warrior. Maybe if he signed up with the UK’s top promoter Eddie Hearn he would get decent, meaningful fights, but that won’t happen. Ricky loves an easy night.

HBO/GBP/Al Haymon are dead set in making Broner the next boxing star. When Mayweather retires he shall be. They want him on Mayweather 24/7. All I’m saying is Al Haymon, HBO, ODLH and Mayweather want to market him already as the next best thing. Al Haymon would’ve no problem skipping Rees for 2 months then fight Burns in May on a stacked card of Broner, Canelo and Mayweather. Burns just delayed his ass whippin that’s all.

Kornerman you moron you are lying again Burns had 7 weeks to prepare which he deemed not enough. Most boxers have 8 weeks intense boxing camps, if you knew little about the sport you would know that. Plus if Burns wanted his body heal/rest he’s got every right to do what’s best for him. He even said that Broner had 12 weeks to prepare compared to his seven. Plus they would have about the same time to master a game plan. Burns knows he will get taken out by Broner only idiots like you who are denial don’t see that. Broner has got a date for May why didn’t Burns ask them to delay the date for that PPV date. Guess what the purse would’ve been bigger at the bigger stage. They opted for a weaker opponent in Vazquez end of story spin it all you like we know the truth.

You too Nicolis,Burns got offered the fight after his defence’s were cancelled and he set his training regime back around christmas time, when Broner came calling at new year he was off the boil and wouldn’t have been best prepared to fight the other best lightweight around as he wants a fair playing field, so Broner chose Rees, so how is that ducking? you clowns will see Broner get the fight of his life when he fights Rickster wait and see.

Mbuyiseli -, Broner wanted Burns with 5 weeks notice and the Burns camp said no chance, what kind of preparation is 5 weeks when Broner gets 12? Broner trys to con his way to a victory what you saying about that? get your facts right before spewing out utter nonsense sir.

Nicolas we wanted Broner vs Burns that would’v really cleared the clutter. If Burns is getting paid less than what GBP offered him, then he ducked Broner twice. By the way whoever wn this fight is not the 135lbs champ we all know it they would still have to fight Broner.
