Kahn runs his mouth about beating all the top guys, but you see who he wants to fight.

You sir, are a plonker that cannot spell…

Senchenko will get the fight, but prove nothing about Khan (seriously, how many people has Malignaggi ever stopped). Ortiz and Lopez would KO that glass chin. And what’s with the disrespect in the article and comment section about Lopez?? The dude’s a tough fighter, went up a weight class and broke Ortiz’s jaw. Then he had to go up ANOTHER weight class to fight Alvarez. He was given little chance against Ortiz and proved everybody wrong, but let’s face it – he had next to no chance against a much bigger canelo, Lopez took the fight for the money just like most of us would have done in his place. I hope Lopez does get the Khan fight so he can break another jaw.

I agree with many of the comments here that Ortiz & Lopez are merely a smokescreen & that it will be the limited Senchenko, who is only famous for stopping a very rusty older version of Hatton, who gets the fight! Why wud Khan who has been proven to not be able to take a punch face a big heavy punching welterweight like Ortiz = career suicide! Why is the Lamont Peterson rematch not being pursued?

I don’t think that much of Ortiz but he is EXACTLY the type of fighter that is dangerous for Khan… He is stronger than Khan , has good speed and very good left handed power…. I would NOT be surprised to see Khan suffer a Garcia like loss at the hands of Ortiz…Khan still likes to let his hands go and a hard counter is always just ONE punch away…

Khan will not fight ortiz. U can book that one. Better stick to the sissy punchers.

Yeah, Khan will fight anyone, and no one – like Carlos “Who am I?” Molina. Senchenko will be the easiest of the lot, if Malignaggi was too fast for him, so will Khan. And though he knocked Hatton out, I don’t see him catching Khan as much.

The other two guys are deadlier, and would make for a more exciting fight.

I don’t consider the Khan-Peterson fight to be a boxing match. It was completely outside the rules of boxing, and Khan should have been disqualified numerous time for rule violations. Whatever it was, it was not boxing. Call it MMA or something but not boxing.

” I’m one of those fighters that will fight anyone.” Unless of course it is Breidis Prescott. Prove me wrong Khan. If you Khan.

Easy route??

The guy has fought Kotelnik, Maidana,Judah,Peterson and Garcia…. who else at 140 has fought that level of opposition???

So Khan is moving to 147lbs? All three of those fighters are welterweights. I thought Khan wanted to clean up the 140lb division (laugh at that!) Khan might try to drag Lopez down to 140lbs so that he fights a weight drained weakened opponent. It will either be a weight drained Lopez or an easy night dancing around Senchenko for a shut out points win. If Khan were serious about proving himself he’d fight Matthyse, Alvarado, Maidana or Marquez. Same old Khan, always looking for the easy route.

Money and boxing politics aside I think Khans next opponent is likely to be Ortiz. I think Khan beat him in the amateurs and that’s exactly the kind of psychological edge that Khan needs to rebuild his confidence. Ortiz isn’t the most stable fighter at the best of times, so it seems this would be an ideal time for Khan to maximise his advantages over him while at the same time giving him a confidence boost and getting his career back on track. Assuming he (Khan) wins of course!

He will fight Lopez who is a looser with no punch, all the rest is just name calling, brit fighters are good at that.

Odds on it’s Senchenko

not a big khan fan but dont hate the guy either. if I was his promoter I would still keep him away from big punchers for a while.senchenko makes sense to me

Kahn is a great fighter with a very questionable chin, he needs to prove himself to be where he wants. Ortiz would be a perfect choice.

Alex

Yeah, Senchenko is a nice easy fight for him so i imagine it will be Senchenko.
Ortiz is way too heavy handed.

REALTALK

I Think Khan should fight Someone better, I really don’t mind Lopez at all to be honest! 154 was way too much weight!

Juggernaut

No need for Khan to fight Ortiz or Lopez, they have nothing to offer him other than risk. stick with Senchecko and get the revenge for Britain lol
