Posted January 25, 2013 8:29 pmte tumboi agree that this matchup figures to be a stink of a fight but primarily because Spinks shelf life has exceeded its expiration date. however, unlike his fights with prime Lara and Kirkland, i anticipate that Molina will become less cautious and more conventional to score the KO victory. i think Molina knows this is the best if not the only way for him to re-establish himself in the title-picture. a loss and Molina assumes Spinks’ off-the-radar status. IMO, Molina’s need for an impressive KO win is gonna result in a better than expected matchup. i haven’t watched Spinks perform in a long time but i was a fan and i don’t expect him to lay down for Molina . . . i could be wrong. Molina is still fighting at a high level and was screwed in the Kirkland fight.
