Well at least we arent seeing a retread in the ring.But I cant see Wach as any kind of threat this is just a selling point by Steward.Both brothers will make as much money as they can before they walk away and this is one way how to do it.Because at this point will they be in a mega fight before they retire like Ali-Frasier or Ali-Foreman? Its hard to say but their time is running out and they want to walk away with the most money they can.

It will be a war of jabs for 12 rounds. Wach has the height and reach but Wlad so much more skilled and athletic with easily UD him. Both these guys like fighting on the outside so it won’t be a lewis-vitali brawl. It will be like to giant fencers, Might end up boring but just great to see Wlad handle a taller good opponent.

I met Manny back in the mid 70′s at the Louisianna State Fair Boxing Tournament at Shreporte ,Louisianna.I had Smiley Gomez,Sammy Fuentez and Raphe Simms and several other good amateurs including Ricky Stoner back then…..Time really does fly.
Manny has had nothing given to him,he has earned his way in boxing. I remember Thomas Hearns wining the national title at Winston Salemn ,North Carolina and my guy,Wilford Scypion winning the National Golden Gloves title the same year. Manny has always been a great teacher and trainer of fighters.As I stated….he earned the right…..God bless…..kenny weldon

Why is Bears comments getting deleted. I have disagreed with him on many occasions but he knows his boxing. Deleting Bears comments is BS.

Wach is a good opponent and his size, power, strength and solid chin combined with a good amateur background and 27 straight victories make him dangerous. Equal to Puvel, Helenius, Haye, Adamek or any top 10 except he is taller than Wlad which will make it very interesting as Wlad has never faced a man taller than himself.

“Speed is not as big a deal at HW as timing”……that is so very true! Wach does have a good habit with connecting when he needs to, hopefully his timing will make this a much better fight than anticipated! Wach IS tough! but probably wont be as conditioned as an elite athlete should be.

Wach puts his combinations together in the latter rounds, towards the decline of his exausted overweight opposition. He seems to move just as slow as his comp, and just a little less clumsy. The difference is in the finishing. Wach somehow picks up steam, gets quicker, then starts to throw with a more determined attitude. He paces himself against less fit competition then takes em out! Wlad is always fit and stays on the offensive with stewards style of “fighting tall.” I still have to agree with steward, Wach could make it interesting by holding and keeping that weak pesky jab in Wlads face as he bides for time. If Wach can keep his composure maybe he can get Wlad to mentally go back at a time he didnt have steward in his corner. I see this guy Wach as the only existing heavyweight that can make it a little interesting for Wlad…..Wow, the heavyweight division really does suck at this particular junction in time! Those new muscles Wach has put on for the fight might work against himself, he already lacks defense, just has a pretty strong chin. He likes to bend forward at the waist giving up his height advantage, then exchanges an equal amount of jabs, until his ordinary foe wilts. Lets hope the fight is a bit competitive for at least 4 rnds or surprisingly more, for competition sake, and the public’s…..at least.

Wach is not as slow as people are saying. I’ve seen Wach turn on his punches when he has opponents in trouble and most impressively punch really nice powerful combinations. Review his last few fights, especially towards the end of each. I think Wach is just an economical fighter who knows the limits of his conditioning and doesnt want to punch himself out so he saves the speed when its called for. He does have a good jab and a very powerful right hand. His chin is said to be good as well. In the end, he’ll be well over matched against Wlad, but against Wladdy one good punch is all that it takes and believe me, Wach size and reach will give him the chance to land it. Imo Stewart and Wlad will plan to take out Wach early to prevent that possibility.

This ones a no brainer….Wlad wins by KO in 2-3 rounds…Wach is taller but he doesnt use his height to his advantage; hes slow; no left hand….maybe that huge chin will correlate to an iron chin and that way he stands a chance.
