Spot on. How some of these guys are allowed to analyse fights is beyond me. Clearly has no idea what he was watching and saw nothing but Kiko’s crude aggression. Frampton was smarter, crisper, stronger and better all round. Tactics spot on as was the finish. Future world champion.

Agree with johnharry on this one,Frampton fought a sensible fight and given his short career did extremely well….now that he has got by this one, it’s onward and upward……..

The bottom line is this…Frampton looked great against a well seasoned tough fighter.Frampton will be a world champ in due time..his time will come.

Mr Sorby clearly watched a very different fight from me!
Against a noted puncher, Frampton showed excellent skills early on to evade Martinez’s tactics of trying to make it a brawlers fight. Once he’d gauged the limits of his opponent he stepped it up and traded with him on his terms and then stopped him with a great right hand that clearly showed who had the more power of the two!
Martinez caught Frampton with his best shots and he shrugged them off, which answers any questions that I suspect Mr Sorby would have liked to of voiced about his punch resistance.
Yes he ducked low at times and was warned but so was Martinez for his persistent rabbit punching.
I think the fact that Frampton stopped a fighter who had never suffered such ignomy before in his career, proved his chin & has the ability to adapt as a fight unfolds showed that if he’s not there yet in world terms he will be very, very soon.
Perhaps Mr. Sorby should ask Martinez & Scott Quigg (who was at ringside) how good they thought he was, they’d definitely get a different opinion than his rather twisted view

Frampton for a young guy with not that many fights and fighting a tough fighter in Martinez looked damm good overall.Frampton in due time can be a world champ he needs to be moved smart. And yes Frampton does have what it takes to obtain his goal when his time comes.
