TARK

There’s not a whole lot of interest in this fight, and that’s why there’s not a terrific amount of money. I’ve known guys who fought for 700,000 and 5 years later they were fighting for 5,000. It’s a shame, but you still have to pay the bills even if you lost 5 in a row … I remember a fan yelling at a losing fighter, “Get a day job.” The boxer stopped and walked over to him, “I’m a cop punk, what do you do? Nothing? I thought so.”

Rubio will easily beat Baldomir, this fight is a waste of time, but having won IBF International belt he will be ranked by the IBF and may be looking to get the Geale v Sturm winner

On paper…no one cares. But, because of thir limited skill sets, and the past your prime reality, this might be entertaining.

that’s a volatile combination right there. there’ll have to be a 7th-round potty break with that fight-night combo.

C’monnn?!? is this matchup really necessary? Rubio should begin targeting some of Martinez’s previous opponents (Macklin, Barker, Dzinziruk). or how bout Lee? Hell(?!), even Cintron or Fredo are more credible placeholder matchups than poor older and smaller Baldomir.

If you are the world champ then you are the champ of the division, because you have a title does not make you world champ, only makes you a titlest

Terrible fight. Why didn’t Rubio take on Quillen?

thats unfortunate news.hopefully, this fight never comes to fruition.i tend to lose respect for a fighter that takes a fight like this against a fighter that is obviously shot to hell.

Baldomir fighting at 160? He’ll look like a tub of lard. Rubio can take his hardest punch while eating a plate of tacos and chile rellenos.
