‘Fight Aficionado , what have you been drinking–giant Cosmos?’ – No. Last night it was Stoli martinis, dry with an olive and shaken, not stirred.

Both may be over-rated — depending on who’s expressing their opinion. No matter what, Donaire has MORE SKILLS — and that will get the win for Donaire.

KYjelly, I think I know who you are in disguise here.

UJelly?

Big props to Donaire for accepting this fight. I was one of the naysayers giving him a hard time for not taking on either Rigo or Mares, so much respect.
It’s a bit of a pick’em fight, but I’m leaning towards Donaire… for me it revolves heavily around whether the recent holes in Rigo’s defense are a case of him not taking his opponents seriously (a la that roid-head Gamboa who let’s his defense get lax when he gets overeager to get a guy out of there), or whether there are legitimate flaws in his game.

No matter what the odds or circumstance If I wager, I would wager on the fighter with the 0 losses on his record over the other guy.. so for this fight (how do you say his name)? I’m gonna go for the guy with the long name.
He’s undefeated…

I think the entire top 10 PFP fighters are all over-rated, haven’t fought anybody, and are ducking the Alphabet belt champ, contender or prospect that I favor that doesn’t have a PFP spot yet….
I think Vladimir K. should fight Martinez, Martinez should fight Donaire, and Pac-Man could beat Ward.
I think that when two top guys fight at their weight that the guy with tons of KO’s had soft competition if he doesn’t knock out the other in a PPV level fight.
No matter what you say or prove your fighter sucks and mine is the best my facorite is whatever race I claim

Donaire is overrated? So what is Rigo? Oh Rigo must be elite with that strong resume. Did Rigo request headgear as part of the fight negociations?

Rigo is one ugly dude

Donaire is overrated. His fight with Narvaez exposed his limitations againsta a savy, deffensive oponent. Rigo will outclass him all night and avoid the big left hook. Donaire us the Danny Garcia of the SB class.

This is a great fight but Donaire will take this by kayo in the mid to later rounds. Rigo was a great amateur but this isn’t the amateurs anymore. We have seen many great Olympic boxers turn out to be nothing. Rigo isn’t great with lateral movement and his chin is untested.

Agreed.. but thankful that we don’t!

Blinding speed, KO power in both hands, quality of elite opponents defeated, granite chin, incredible ring savvy and stamina vs an Olympic champion with only eleven pro fights against sparring partners, weak chin unproven against a sustained attack by a fighter with a P4P pedigree and named boxer of the year —- figure it out !!!

The photo sais it all……. The size difference is toooo big. Size can be an edge, and i see these 2 as being closely matched in the overall skill department. But Nonito is too big for Rigo. Donaire by a big KO
