Tomato Can

To put it nicely, this was a pretty crummy article.

I agree with anonymous, cause that was me. :-)

Mayweather’s day of losing is getting closer everyday. Father time beats everyone eventually. I doubt Guerrero will win more than 4 rounds though.

Posted February 24, 2013 5:15 pm

stupid loser

I love the special connection this writer has with Mayweather. I am sure Mayweather read those 2 books, the writer personally gave him, and the bible. We can tell by how he acts including that 40 hours of community service he performed.

cherry tree

If he’s ripr for this loss then why did he cherrypick him.

Sean, I think Floyd beats anybody this side of Martinez right now including Austin Trout. Obviously age will get to him at some point, but his skill set will carry him much longer than a guy like Pacquiao for instance, who relied on an explosive offense and now that he slowed down doesn’t have the technique to compensate.

blue eyed devil im agreee with you thats why im asking you this question if mayweather chose to fight trout right now would you be so sure of a mayweather victory

I’m in love with Pacroid but I make excuses with very crappy grammer anytime he loses. I also hate Floyd Mayweather and call him names because he scared my Manny into 2 extra fights with Marquez to avoid drug tests. I’m the worlds biggest hater.

The only chance Guerrero has is if the ref allows him to wrassle. Won’t happen.

Posted February 23, 2013 6:49 pm

CK

Good luck trying to convince his fans that it is possible that he will lose!!

Posted February 23, 2013 6:05 pm

CK

So why should Guerrero even show up,in your dumb opinion or why should you even watch it if you feel so strongly that this will be another easy victory but i bet you also felt that way when he fought Cotto and DLH! I don’t know about you but those were two extremely close fights?!! AT 36,Floyd won’t have it easy against the Ghost. Lets just wait and see on fight night

niice reading this article, money may is come out of his shell

Chicago guy

Guerrero is on his prime at 29 and Fraudie is on the decline but Fraudie can still win because he will sucker punch Guerrero like Ortiz and will pay him extra for doing the script perfectly. Guerrero will dive the fight because he is financially on need for his wife medications.

Floyd jr. circus ccontinue May4th, now ticket on sell. Happygirl and Ghetto thug i’m pretty sure got already their reservation.

Wrong article. Guerrero is ripe to be beaten by Mayweather any day of the week.

Micheal

‘Unless he fights the other bests of this generation, those with skills to equalize his style, by ceasing to handpick his opponents and refusing to duck challenges, Mayweather has never won a single bout in his entire career as a pro boxer. His record would perhaps read to some as 43 fights with 43 losses. The “zero loss” in his resume would to them boast nothing beyond the hollowness of ego and “smart” choices. The proud Money numbers would be mere numbers. And they literally would weigh zero on top of a genuine scale.
Champions don’t shrink. And the truer ones don’t always win.’

Such an appalling, confused, directionless piece of opionionating.

another “no challenge for floyd fight”. boring. wheres the risks for the so called best ever? makes no sence whatsoever. jfc floyd. go back to 130 135 where you did take risks. the floyd from 140 on is a bore. maybe 2 or somewhat risky fights since

I was thinking exactly the same lol. At first I thought it was just a load of philosophical crap but, upon closer inspection, that would be a compliment. The article is just complete nonsense; as though the author has just rolled his face across the keyboard…. Is this even an article?

Anyone can beat anyone in boxing, that’s part of what most of of love about this sport. That said however, Robert Gurrerro is so exceedingly average with below average power that I can’t see him doing much against Floyd. In fact I think Floyd’s going to KO The Ghost around round 9. This is a huge mismatch in Floyd’s favor.

The standard of articles accepted by this site is getting worse all the time. This particular one is almost gibberish! Doesnt anyone proofread this stuff before it goes up?

This writer should of just gone to bed after being on the drink all night, instead he has punished the ESB readers with this nauseating garbage of an article.

There is not one area other than age, where Guerrero has an edge on Floyd. Mayweather is faster, harder hitting, much better defense, better ring generalship, far superior ring resume and even a 2″ reach advantage. The only reasons anyone would pick against Floyd in this fight would be that they are related to Guerrero, trying to hype the fight (to increase ticket sales) or blinded by their hatred of Mayweather. I don’t like the way Floyd handles himself outside of the ring at all, but I certainly don’t have any delusions that he is going to have any problems winning this fight.

Floyd will continue winning

please don’t get me wrong Mr Guevara a lot of those numbers were because of Goldenboy’s charisma, I believe which I stand to be corrected sales tickets to females grew by 33% at his peak and yes it takes two to tango so one must give Floyd his due as well as Oscar and Cotto cause those numbers were never done until Floyd was part of the equation.

Posted February 23, 2013 9:15 am

Happyboy

Edgar Guevara – ” Their fight brought 2.5 million viewers, because DLH charisma ” if thats the case where was all this charisma before he faught Floyd and made those numbers, same applies to Cotto. Mayweather is the common factor in both the #1 & #2 highest grossing PPV non heavyweight fights, hell the dude did 1,2M with Ortiz while Pac did 600 000 with Bradley. Next thing if this card does well it’s because of Canelo whose hasn’t even headed a PPV event. Facts and reality guys, please.

Guerrero only wins this one, if Mayweather has lost it, during his break. Money Mayweather is a master, at picking opponents, it is a brave action though to pick a good opponent, after the break he had. Sadly Manny doesn’t have it anymore, the magic, so a Mayweather vs Pacman fight seems rather boring now. I don’t see anything in Guerrero that suggests that he can mix it with MM.

Hahahaha! The title makes me laugh! This must be a joke! The writer is joking when he passed this article and ESB posted it! Hahaha !!

Edgar Guevara

We will at 36 if Father Time does take something away from Mayweather. Remember he hasn’t been the best active fighter. He calls himself PPV money. That only reason why he calls himself that, he fought DLH. DLH was the media darling came close to beating Floyd. Like always DLH short change himself in the big fights. Since then Mayweather has been calling himself PPV guy. Their fight brout 2.5 million viewer, because DLH charisma. Now he brings PPV, many fans wants to see him flat on the mat. Mayweather is great fighter, but the most inactive champion. Can you picture great fighters doing what he is doing. Sugar Ray Leonard, De la Hoya received their lesson for being inactive.

Posted February 23, 2013 6:45 am

Blacker

Ok, so Floyd hasn’t fought anyone. His last 10 opponents have been, Miguel Cotto, Victor Ortiz, Shane Mosley, Marquez, Hatton, De la Hoya, Baldomir, Zab Judah, Shamba Mitchell, and Arturo Gatti. All of these guys are either former world Champions or boxers that operated at the highest level of the sport. The lesser known on the list like Shamba Mitchel, was an excellent boxer at his peak. Arturo Gatti, and Hatton may not have been great boxers, but Hatton was 42-0, and had beaten Kotsya Tsyu, and had the confidence that every unbeaten fighter had. Infact many gave him a chance in beating Floyd. Floyd has fought and beaten Champions, some of whom are the biggest names to ever lace up a pair of gloves, so saying he hasnt fought anyone is very unfair. If you want to see a resume of a guy who hasnt fough anyone, then look at the resume of Deontey Wilder or up and comers like that.

Floyd Mayweather will lose this fight. I know a lot of you guys don’t think there’s any chance of Floyd losing because he’s the better all around boxer/ athlete, and has more skills, but it happens to all the great fighters. Floyd has too many distractions and changes in his life. He lost his best buddy 50 sense, switching trainers (uncle for dad), been way too inactive, been in jail, Girlfriend is playing him, left HBO, signed for too many fights, lost a step or three in his last fight. Believe it or not, all good things come to and end, and things have to fall in in place for great athletes to lose their once great ability. Jordan lost it in his 30′s, Ali lost it in his 30′s, Duran lost it in his 30′s, Sugar Ray Robinson lost it in his 30′s. Tyson lost it in his 30′s. Floyd Mayweather Jr. will lose this fight. He’s not the better fighter, but he is the better man, a blessed man.
